Same thing they said I won second prize from publishers clearing house, told me to call the Mark guy at ext. 5 to get further instructions and to wait by my house that they would be here in a half an hour

I got a call from a driver wanted to know if I was going to be home to sign for a check. I called the police. Someone needs to get these folks

I just received the exact same call, with all of the identical numbers and names. They have uped the amounts to reflect the COLA to  $9, 855, 000; 2014 Mercedes Benz--that included  car insurance pre paid through Geico and Gas card for the year. Truly this a scam, consumers beware. How they got my cell number is a mystery to me----I never give it out or use it.
Couldn't they be a little more creative---people are not so trusting or believing in any thing that sounds to good to be true without first investigating the litgitamacy of the offer. Lord have mercy.

Just received call from this number on my cell phone.  Accidentally answered and then hung up.  I am in Graham NC - I do not give out my cell number other than friends or family.  Something is up.

I just got the exact same call on my cell in Burlington, NC.  A person said they were the truck driver, John Dixon, and I had won something from Publishers Clearinghouse.  I was to call Mark Anderson at 876-463-5368 ext 5 and give them claim number 692917US for instructions on how to claim my prize.

I just received the same call today saying I'm the 7th place winner in the PCH lottery. They said I won $855K and a 2013 Mercedes Benz. The guy calling was a truck driver named John Dixon and that he was 45 minutes outside my house and that I had to call 876-893-1016 ext 5 and talk to Mark Anderson. They said I had to go to Dollar General to buy a 'confirmation card' for 1% of the check totaling $499. I called PCH and they said it was a scam. Beware of this number.

I just received the same message. I won something, to call the 1-876-893-1016..and speak with Mark Anderson at ext 5. She gave me a package claim # and the drivers name, John Dixon. What a scam, glad I didnt get to excited about it!

I live in Burlington NC and got the same call . Was told i had won a 2013 mercedes benz and 855,000. I need ed to go to Dollar general and get a confirmation card . the driver would be a David green . Bank of America would handle the check. Even told me to dress up nice and that they had to stay on the phone with me all the time . I called the police . It is definitely a scam. a bad one at that.

Just got the same call. Wanting to meet at my house or mail me a check. They are still out there doing there thing.

THIS IS A CONSUMER FAUD SCAM CALL. THEY ARE GOING TO ATTEMPT TO SEND YOU A CHECK AND HAVE YOU CASH IT FOR THE MONEY, THE CHECK IS FAKE. YOU WILL FACE CHARGES IF YOU PASS A FRAUDULENT CHECK.

Called to tell me I was the "lucky second prize winner" for a Publishers Clearing House sweepstakes!!!
