I was just called three times by this person. First he mentioned a package I would receive tomorrow. After I queried him about "what package", he finally said it was a check for "you and your wife". I couldn't understand much of what the guy was saying, and I told him so, so he transferred me to his "manager", who mentioned something about 1.5 million dollars, at which point I KNEW this was a scam. So I said leave me alone, and hung up.

They immediately called back, this time, for whatever reason I let the guy ask me a few questions, eg "Do you pay your bills on time", "Do you shop at Wal-Mart", he mentioned something about "These guys who will take you out for dinner" or something to that effect. I finally got upset because I was actually in the middle of something when he called, so I told him to leave me alone and that I would call the police if he called back again.

So I hung up, and prepared to call the police, when he called back a THIRD TIME. This time I simply said, "OK, I"m calling the police, and hung up". The cop I spoke to at the police station didn't tell me very much, except that if he calls back again, to let them know and they'll dispatch an officer. But so far he hasn't called back (last called was about 20 minutes ago).

I just got a call from this number too. with the same scam.  They had my parents name and my name.

He keeps calling saying there is a package

this guy called three times since yesterday. I could not hear clearly what he was try to tell me, only heard is that I will get a package or something from wellsfargo today.. i hung up the call. He called me again this morning and I did not answer the call.
