Some cancer money beggars.  They call constantly and I have informed them that I am on the do-not-call list. I tell them we don't donate to anyone but the local food shelf but they keep calling day and night.

It used to blow my top every time the f***ers would call and trap me on the phone.  Now, when I see one of those 877 numbers, I just hit the "Talk" then immediately hit the "Off" button on the phone.  I don't say anything, nor do I give them a chance to.  When they call back... I just do the same thing.

.this is what I did....told them so happy they callled about consolidating my CC debt...what a life saver...etc...I said I had over 20K in CC debt...could they possibly help...I was transferred to Mark so fast it really was pretty funny....I still kept up the story and the thank you's.....so when Mark asked for specific CC numbers....I just asked him to wait a moment so I could go get the cards.....then just laid the phone down on the table and left it sitting there and then just went on working on the computer.......it took Mark about 4 minutes before he hung up.  I was pretty happy that I wasted 4 minutes of his time......and it took about a year and now the calls have started again.  So I will do the same again...and really suggest everyone do the same...say or do whatever it takes to get the highest ranking person on the phone...if possible...tell them you need to go get whatever info they need...then just lay the phone down and go about your business.  They usually hang up in 3 to 5 minutes....BUT it was thier 5 minutes wasted...not yours!  Actually it was really fun, kind of like acting...get as dramatic as you want...and thank them a lot....IT WILL MAKE YOUR DAY!

I blocked this number via my cordless phone but it does ring once when they call. So far in the past two days they have called six (oops make that seven now) times. Their machine is persistent.

Try this as an option:
when they call do not identify yourself, just say hello.
when they ask for whoever (you, spouse, etc.) reply who they are first.
when they ID themselves as someone you never want to talk to again, state you are a police detective and the person in question is (fill in the blank). Start going off on them asking questions like the police do and say the phone is tapped and being traced etc........
i havent had a chance yet to do this yet. but i have heard it being done.

Try this: " Bueno?..Caller: "Is Mr. or Mrs. John Doe?. You:" No Hablo ingles" Bet you that will get them good.

They call all the time.  This morning it was at 8:30 AM on a holiday.  I will never donate to this organization just because of their rude calling policies.

I got a call soliciting for the Breast Cancer Support Foundation. Wanted credit card info to charge my donation to, when I refused they wanted my checking acct no... yeh right. I told them to mail me the information which they agreed to do. They indicated I had donated last year. After seeing theses posts when the envelope arrives I'll send it back with a refusal and ask that my name be removed from their list.

I filed a complaint with the Florida Do-Not-Call list and the federal Do-Not-Call list.

They will not take no for an answer and they are very rude and mean talking.  Now they are asking for $65 or $100 dollars.  It use to be $5-$20 dollars.  I told them to take me off their list. I told them to take me off their list. They haven't done this.

Calls several times a day---- no one talks or even a message------ what is the point of the call . Stop harassing people!!!!

This company has been calling me for years.  Some days no calls, but other days they'll call 3, 5, even 8 times a day.  In all those years (5+) they have never once left a message or answered when I've picked up to ask them to stop calling.  

I'm on the DNC registry and have in the past reported them.  They're still calling.

Yesterday, they called 5 times up until 9 p.m.   Today, we already got 2 calls before 10 a.m.  When we see that number on our caller ID, we don't pick up so we didn't even know who was calling us. We donate to alot of funds and just feel this is harrassment on their part.   I am going to give their number to the do not call assoc.

Called me 12 times in four days and counting, even after I told them not to call.To me this is harassment.  I will use a whistle next time.

I paid to start a block program on my phone (ATT) & pay $7 per month & can block up to 10 calls at a time. That is not near enough for the calls we get from these kinds of numbers. So, I write them down & after they call twice, I take the oldest number off & put the new one in. It doesn't stop them completely, too many numbers, but it does slow it way down.

STOP CALLING ME AT ALL HOURS OVER AND OVER AFTER I HAVE TOLD YOU REPEATEDLY TO STOP CALLING ME.

Call all times of the day.  Hang up when it goes into answering machine.

Please discontinue the calling...I am tired of the calls.

Like everyone else I am getting these calls on a daily basis  I work Midnight Shift and they call during the day and disturb my sleep.  I tried blocking the number thru Verizon but it did not work.  I tried just not answering the phone but that just annoys me more.  

Guess in time it will stop.

Far as I know you can't make it stop.They have called here at 9 pm many times.I go to bed at 8:30 pm due to meds I have to take after dinner.It is really upsetting when I have just been asleep a few minutes.Takes forever to get back to sleep.They p me off so bad that I won't be giving to them anymore.

I just got another call from them and it is the cancer society.I told them that I have given what I can for this year please don't call.My husband was 47 when we found out he had brain cancer.We had just moved 1000 miles for a job, we were in bad shape.Neither of us could work.I called them3 times for help.Like tell us where we can go to get help and they had nothing to offer.I told this to the last caller and I said don't call me again.But they did anyway. They have finally made me mad.Everytime I lose a loved one I donate to them because I feel flowers are a waste of money at a funeral.But now I will donate to St Jude's cancer hospital for children only because I know they do offer help there.Danny Thomas saw to that.

They call over and over and OVER!!!  STOP!!!

Tell them you are keeping a log of calls and will file harassment charges if the calls continue.  Or just answer with TRAP<TRACE< current date and time and hang up.

Scam.  Called for "breast cancer support foundation."  There isn't one!  The government should find these people and kill them all, the way the Chinese government would.
