They called Sat. & Sun.  I let the answering machine pick up, so don't know who they are as they just hung up.  Next time, I just might answer.

The phone rings 4-10 times a night.  I let it go, but never a message.  Very disruptive.  Durning dinner, TV shows, conversations.  I'd like to tear the phne out.

Call daily.  We finally called the number back and got a recording that said thank you for calling Direvtv.

This number is directtv, I have their service and my account is current, I called them back at this number and told them to at least have the common decency to leave a brief message if I can't answer the call. They said they would put a no call note on my account.

These people are driving me nuts!  They start calling shortly after 8:00am (I am disabled) and call all day long.  I don't know who they are, but if they EVER thought I would buy something from them they are sorely mistaken.  Pure harrassment!

Receiving calls throughout entire day, almost every day.  Never leave msg.. Extremely annoying....want to be placed on "do not call" list!!  It's a shame, since wouldn't mind receiving useful info. from DirectTV, but they've ruined this opportunity with so many annoying, "anonymous" calls, leaving no msg.

I receive at least 2 calls to my home phone daily. It seems the calls to my cell phone have slowed, but not stopped. Both numbers are listed on the do not call list, though this does not seem to matter to these ignorant people! I see that they have been reported many times yet they continue..... What legal recourse is left?

They call EVERY day as late as 9:00 pm. No response when I answer. I would like to get them to stop it.... FOREVER.

This is DirecTV. I am a customer. I emailed them to complain about it. They said it would take a few weeks to get me off the list. After I got there reply, I received 3 more phone calls over that weekend. I emailed them back and said that I could get satellite installation in a few days and that it made no sense to take a few weeks to get my number off their call list. They replied, please be patient. It could take up to a few weeks to get your number off of the list, but it may only take a few days. Have received 2 more phone calls since then. If they don't stop, I'm going to take legal action for harassment.

Same situation, I just called them back and it's DIRECTV.  I am also a customer and all they want is for you to take a survey or it's a promo call.  You can have them take you off some list or something, hopefully it will stop.

Been getting calls from this number for well over a month, sometimes daily. I never answered for a long time and they never left a message. Seems to be computer directed to try various different hours of the day when they don't get an answer.

I knew it was DirecTV from this site, and I am a customer (For now.....).  I finally relented and picked up last night.  They tried to sell me premium channels.  Hopefully the calls will stop for a while now...

We have received 9 calls over the past few weeks from this number. I called it back; get a recorded message "Thank you for calling DirectTv." They never leave a message, and they call at all hours. Very annoying...

Having your number on the National Do Not Call registry does not prevent toll-free numbers from calling.

Just dialed the number for the heck of it....it is DirecTV.  They promised to put us on a do not call list.

daily phone calls from this 877 number...no one is ever at the other end of the line when we answer and when we dial it back we get a voice mail with no identification of who this number belongs to! They continue to call everyday despite the message we left for them to stop!

I have been getting the same calls for some time now. They call and never leave a message except for "Hello, Hello" then they hang up.  I called the number back this morning, it is Direct TV, we are a customer.  The operator was not able to tell me why they are calling, she thought maybe it was a promotional call, always trying to sell you something!  I told her to please make a note on my account to stop calling, we'll see if it works!

Called on A Sunday ...can they do that....leaves no message...states toll free service...

Calls multiple times a day, every day of the week. Never leaves a message.
