Called to let me know I had won a free trip to Disney.

Also had asked to verify personal details about myself.

Would not verify what company, if any they represented.

Stated they were calling from America.

Hung up

Just called me saying I won a trip to Universal Studios, but wouldn't give me any details, and silly responses when I asked for a link or literature. Ended up hanging up onme once they knew they didn't have a mark. Beware, bad scammers

Got this call last night asking for me, my husband told them I wasn't in but the guy kept on with the script about the Universal trip. My husband told them I didn't enter any contest and that we weren't interested. He also asked them to remove our number from their calling list. Guess what? They didn't...we got another call tonight. I hung up on the guy before he even got going with his pitch.

i just got the same call telling me i won a trip to Universal studios in orlando florida for 249.00 confirmation fee. the funny thing is i did enter a contest much like this one a few weeks prior so i believed it to be the same one .she asked for my expiry date but when i told her i did not have a card on me to tell her the expiry date, she kept giving me the same lines over and over im sure she was reading from a book and then asked again for the expiry date. i kept telling her i didnt have the card with me but she was very persistant and made me feel guilty for not being aware of the great trip i was going to lose out on. I had a call a few weeks prior too, from a man named jack morgan working for microsoft that was a scam so i picked up on a lot of things this phone calls had in common. I also have won a free all inclusive trip before and was never once asked for my visa number. IF ITS FREE YOU SHOULDNT NEED TO GIVE OUT CREDIT CARD NUMBER!. beware. she also asked me if i was married

i just recieved this call two nights in a row - it starts off "i am calling from america" - such an uneducated way to begin a conversation - they told me that i entered a contest (which i didn't) - they have my name, birth date and postal code (we live in canada) and asked my husbands name once i confirmed that i was married - i told them that they should know my husbands name if they know everything else...then i hung up - tried to call number and it was not in service - that is a legit company for you!!

Got a call earlier today, told them we were not interested. They got DH tonight and he talked with them. They were offering Universal Studios for $249 per person, 7 days, 6 nights, rental car. The  caller was Partrick Bird, then transfered to Donnie. DH asked for a phone number to return call which they would not provide so he hung up. Donnie then called back still looking for credit card information, they were very persistant and tried keeping him on the phone. Finally he asked them not to call back and to remove us from their list.

Got a call from this number, but I wasn't in. Just got another call this morning. The girl asked for someone named John, I told her she had the wrong number (nobody in this household by that name). She gave my phone number and asked if that was what she dialed, I said yes. She said "Okay, sorry about that" and hung up. Tossed the number into Google and here I am. Surprised it was that simple based on some of these other notes haha.

Trust me...you don't want to know anyways..these companies get you to go to a seminar and then try to get you to spend anywhere between 1000++++ dollars to sign up for cheap vacations/flights/hotels etc as a member of their travel club...I worked for one of these companies for a bit as a receptionist..and there are no savings..they will pay down some of your first trip to make it look really good out of their own pocket and then when you want to go somewhere again...there's no deal to be found.

I just won the same trip and figured it was a scam but let them talk. When she told me we were preappoved thru our VISA she just asked us to verify the number I asked her to read it to me and I would let her know if she was right. If she new we were preappoved she should have had the number. Thats when I hung up laughing.

I got the same phone call this evening at 8 pm.  A guy named Chris Hall had my right name and birth date, but the wrong email address.  Someone with the email address kitty@aol.com which I have no idea who that is.  So, he says, what is your email address?  I said, I'm not giving you my email address because I never entered any contest to win a trip to Florida.  What site did I enter it on, I said.  He said I must have entered one of a number of entry sites on AOL for the contest.  I said, name me one of those sites.  He says, I don't want to give you any false information.  I said, I don't care, just name me one of the sites I may have entered on.  He wouldn't tell me.  He says, you are married aren't you.  I said, no.  He says, so you're single?  I says, I may or may not be.  Anyway, he put me on hold for 30 sec. then tried to get my email address from me again before he would give me any more info.  I refused to give him my email address, and he hung up.  How rude!

I have ben getting DOZENS of calls from this number, who if you call, is not in service.  Finally caught it tonight (4th call today alone), and *surprise* I won a Universal trip for two.  I told this 'gem' of a lady that I was incredibly unintersted, and to stop calling me asap.  She told me that I could travel to any other destination in any country (apparently there is a Universal Studios in every country?  IDIOT).
MEGA SCAM.
Anyone and their dog can get someone's information; we're all for sale.  :(  just ask any of the poor sap's whose email addresses are used to send **BUY NOW** Viagra and Lava Life Dating to everyone.

I just got a call from the same number, but if you call back after it says this number is no longer in service.  BEWARE.  Had the same thing happen last year and I contacted Universal Studios.  They were very clear in that they NEVER go through another organization for their promotions and NEVER ask for ANY money when running a contest.  All "Gina" wanted was my credit card info.  I told her I would give it to her if she gave me the name of the "multi-million dollar company" she worked for, as well as HER phone number.  She kept averting the question until I finally hung up.  This is a SCAM and they are VERY good at trying to get that credit card.  BTW, our birthdays, email, phone numbers and addresses are easy to get.  They are thieves getting their victims' money with their approval.

Guy named Donald told us we won a trip to Universal Studios Florida.  Somehow knew my birth date, including year and knew which domain my email account is housed on, and that I was married (could've been a guess).  We thought maybe they got all that info from Facebook but the year of my birthday is not on there.  They knew (or guessed) the type of credit card we have. When we asked for their phone # to call back they kept on with their questions and when we asked to speak to a supervisor they said they would transfer us and we were cut off.
