"Google Easy Street" is a scam. On their website in a very prominent position they announce that it only costs $1.98.

But below the bottom of the screen, in fine print, in their terms and conditions, they also tell you that they are going to bill a one time fee of $129.95. You have a 3 day cancellation period FROM THE DATE YOU ORDERED. But the trick is that they don't bill the $129.95 until after the 3 days have passed. So when you see it on your bank statement for the first time, the cancellation period has already passed. In addition to the 129.95, they also slip into their fine print 2 more MONTHLY fees, of $39.98 and $29.95.

How many people have they ripped off so far? I'm helping my mother attempt to recover from their scam. They actually billed her the $129.95 twice! Of course, they're claiming it's all spelled out in the "terms and conditions". But they make it just about impossible for all but the most computer savvy and suspicious to figure out their tricks. We're working with her banks to get the money. We've forwarded all the information to Google's legal department (this company had no right to use Google's trademark and Google is already engaged in fighting other companies using the same scam) and we are planning to take this outfit to Small Claims court ourselves.

I sure am glad to see these other complaints about this 877-207-1531. I am mad we all have to go through this kind of thing in the first place. I think the e-commerce should be held liable to giving people at least 30 days on these choices. I am like many who have got stung by this bee. I am retired and my wife is on disability, so we are on a fixed income, and this stuff can cause problems with or finances.
This is not my first and I am --sure-- it will not be our last.

This is a SCAM!!  Talk about being pissed!!!!!!!!!!!!!That isn't even the word for it.
I just got off the phone with the operator (would not give me her name) of the posted #877-391-8855 of the $129.95 and she told me that I clicked on the "I ACCEPT" (which I never clicked on, because I thought it was to good to be true for $1.00). I just clicked on the top right X and exited the page, but what I think happened is that because I had the my bank information on the page, somehow they got it without me clicking the "I ACCEPT" button.
To keep in line with all of you...I never even saw the fine print with the $129.95, because I exited the page.
Also, I called the bank yesterday and they said that I had to wait until it posted to call the 877# and then I am allowed to call the bank and report it as fraud.
As Polet (above) says..."Class Action" ...I agree
I am on social security and I only had $50.00 in the bank. I would of never agreed to pay for something that costs $129.95 without the money in the bank.
I don't have enough money in the bank to pay for doctor appts. or medication for this month now.
I also contacted (by message) Google, and I want to know how they can have such a "SCAM" connected with them. I went to the GOOGLE website, because they are suppose to be the best. Now I know they are not. I really hate the internet, but I can't go to work and I was trying to get at home work information so my husband and I don't have another bad, bad, bad year like 2009. We can bearly make any of our bills! We started 2010 in the hole!!
The # to call for the $1.00 & $129.95 charges-877-391-8852, but watch the operator that I got was a total B***H!!!!!
I hope they get theirs in the end.

Thank you Polet for your posting on Dec 3.  I called that number and after a brief verbal bout with the operator, he said that since I had never logged into the trial account (the 3 day trial), they would cancel my subscription and refund the $129.95 within the next 5-7 business days.  Hopefully, that will happen.  Otherwise, I will dispute the charge with VISA.

This number has shown on my bank account twice.  November 2, 2009 and November 30, 2009.
It is all from Google Easy Street.  I called and cancelled on day 4 and was still charged the $129.95 and then charged the training because the cancellation was not finished!  They told me I was supposed to call someone else to do that.  What a crock!
I am being refunded the two charges of $39.98 only, because I did not follow "their" guidelines.
Should I file a complaint with the FTC?

Good News!!!

Today I got a call from their representative. I asked him
to cancel my subscription. Next - I asked him to refund all
money.  I explained that this is Failure of Consideration.
Told the guy that I was not interested in their training
because, previously, I knew it would not make even a penny
for me. I subscribed because I expected packet in the mail
with clear instructions what links to post and to get paid for
such activity.  Since they did not mail any such packet (they
tried twice in a 45 day period), and I did not recieve
any packet from them in the mail - here we go - their consideration
was not tendered to form the binding contract (contrary to what
they falsely claim, if you read their terms).

So after a short conversation the guy agreed to refund 129.95 for
October and 39.95 for November 2009.

Try the same and Good Luck for you - phone # to call is 877-557-5473.

It looks to me this is a good Class Action, so hurry up - try it!!!

same thing - i'm filing with the Federal Trade Commission
I talked to the guy on the phone and he looked to me
like drunk.
The point here is - FAILURE OF CONSIDERATION.
in order to have the contract valid - both parties must submit
their consideration. we submitted ours - 1.00 + 139.95
and they - what - is anyone receiving the pormissed packed
to post link on google- i don't think so
the information the supply on their web site is only how to
do the things but it is not helpfull at all.

So GOA AHEAD and COMPLAIN to the FTC - online and see what happens.
