they call frequently and never leave a message.

hang up's, two in the last dafew days.  I have a Andriod with the Filter App so they don't even right my phone and now I have set Google Voice to handle them as a Spam call so they can no longer leave a message.

they have been calling me for the last 2 weeks ,but didn`t have chance to pick up and answer ,
today I picked up and said she is from Verizon and my account at risk for collection ,due to unpaid payemnt of 180 dollars ,I realized she is a fraud because I have autopayment scheduled ,so I confroted her ,she insisted she is from Verizon ,she said she has all my bills ,SSN ,and my info infront of her ,
I told her I am busy and I ll call Verizon myself then hunged up .

Ok, hecka PISSED OFF!!!! This is just a WARNING. My son kept getting calls on his cell from 1-877-208-4175. He finally answered the call. The person on the other line said he was from Verizon Wireless. My son told the guy he was just a kid and asked why they kept calling him. The guy then said he wanted the name of the primary acct. holder, and asked him his last name. That's when my son handed the phone to me. The guy on the phone wanted my info. Knowing my acct. is in good standing, I asked him why he wanted this info. He said it was "a time sensitive matter"...OH B***S***!!! I told him to give me his number and I'd call him back. I called and the recording on the phone said they were Verizon Wireless. My account is current and has NEVER been late! I re-checked my account online...$0 balance due! I called Verizon from the number on the website and they said they would only call the primary user's phone if there was a problem, did not have the 877 # I gave them, and that it is ILLEGAL for someone to ask a minor that private info! They are going to look into the matter with the phone number I gave them but in the meantime, they blocked that number from calling mine, or my son's phone. I explained what happened to my son and told him that's how easy it could be for someone to get private info and to NEVER give that info out. I praised him for doing the right thing by handing the phone to me. If you have children on your cell acct. Please warn them that this could also happen to them and to NEVER give out personal info, regardless of WHO the caller claims to be! I advised him that if this ever happened again with me not around, just get the phone number and tell them his mom will call them back! UGH!!!

Another day more calls , No Caller Id No answer plain and simple...

(877) 208-4175 Repetitive calls

Just called Verizon, It is NOT them. She asked for the info they were asking for, told me not to give them any information if they call again, and if they call again, to let them (Verizon) know. She forwarded the number and the info I gave her to their Fraud Department. She was very nice and apologetic about the whole thing. She said Verizon is one of a couplr different companies having this issue right now.

I have talked to Mr. Giffin (supervisor) and told him that I am not the person that owes the bill. He stated to me that my number would be listed as a bad number(conversation from 3-Apr-2012). I recieved three calls since then and only one did I get a person on the other end. I again asked for Mr. Giffin in order to have him explain to me why they are calling me still. His responce was that it takes 48 hours in their automated system to have the number listed as bad. From now on I will ask for Mr. Giffin and complain all the time to him until they realise that their automated system is a computer and it will take info and remove as soon as it is put into it. I work with computers and automated systems all day and understand that it will do what it is told and can be done with simple key strokes. Can't pull the wool over my eyes Verizon.

I had 4 calls from this number just today I missed the calls and there was no message but if it is Verizon they are calling the wrong person I have AT&T never had Verizon in my life...

I have never had a account with verizon. I don't even have a cell phone. I get calls from Washington. New Jersey, Florida, California. Stating Jose Carrizone must pay his Verizon cell phone bill. I am not mexican and my name is not Jose. I have written this company and I have told these idiots, to please stop the harrassing calls but they continue. I do not know what to do about Verizon as I type this another call form them!!!!!

This is a COLLECTION AGENCY saying they are Verizon!  They are a-holes.  I have Verizon which is why I called them .... so freaking rude!

We have been receiving more than one call a day from this number.  They are attempting to collect for someone who has the same name as my wife.  They compared the last four digits of the Social Security they have on file and found they do not match but they keep calling.  This is for an account this person opened with Verizon.

Got a call from them saying it's an important message from Verizon.  Never had, nor never will have a Verizon account of any kind.  Gotta love scammers.

Beware...they claim to be Verizon and when I pressed the issue, she admitted they are a collection agency identified as an individual  that is employed by EOCCA .
This individual even had a supervisor (Eric) that I was transferred to and admitted  he works  for Verizon and when I asked if his paycheck was from Verizon,he became very aggitated..,I find it very amusing how quickly they broke down while they were  trying to secure information regarding my wife's  social security number claiming she has an account with Verizon wireless and owes $$$ but couldn't tell me the address of the account holder as it was a privacy issue ..Jerk weeds.

This automated call keeps calling from the number 877-208-4175 asking for Maryanne and I have no idea who that is.  The caller will not stop calling.  The voice says they are from Verizon.  Anyone out there that has infor on where this call really originates from and what they want.

Received phone calls regularly from 1-877-208-4175 with reference number.  The name is incorrect and I am unable to contact.  The computer keeps asking for a name not on my landline.

If you do not recognize a number, do not answer your phone. If nobody ever answers these calls, they will stop. Do not call them back or become upset. These calls are a ploy by the cell phone providers, propogated by the sale of our phone numbers to anybody willing to pay for them, to increase usage, and therefore increase charges and provide them justification for more bandwidth allocation. If nobody ever answers these calls, then the calls will not generate the desired effect. The calls will then become an expensive liability to the callers, and they will be forced to stop.

If somebody calls you from a number you do not recognize, and it is important, they will leave an important message. Then, you can call them back.

After 8months of harrassing calls asking for different people I finally learned that this number is from Verizon Wireless. We do not now or never have had verizon. I have filed a formal complaint with the FCC/Verizon/AZ Atty General over this rude and slimy company.We get 2-3 calls daily !!

call came in with a recorded message , asked to hang up if not the person.

They keep calling me saying that I owe for Verizon Wireless - (Of course I am always up to date) So I called Verizon Wireless - they put me on hold and called this number - they got no answer but a busy signal.  After further investifation - Verizon told me this is not any number associated with them - and that they are going to investigate even further  - These people are pretty shrude - Plus they keep calling my cell phone - and whatever number they use to call from shows up as 'unknown number'  If it were Verizon - or anyone associated with them - it would show up as Verizon -

I received one of these calls. Nothing is on the system to prove that it is truly related to Verizon. I paid full price for a MIFI2200, that I caught a Verizon employee breaking my MDN/MIN number into two different numbers so my security would be compromised. In other words they broke their own contract the second day inthe store when they configured the system themselves.  I emailed into Verizon's Fraud Department, and called then I never received a response. Instead I get calls from my next door neighbors daughter that just so happens to have the other half of my phone number and she starts calling me to claim that she is a Verizon employee attempting to collect a dept. Her name is LaTrecisa Morrison and she is my landlords daughter, now she usually says that she wants my credit card number. When I ask any of them to please mail an invoice to the address on my receipt, normal thinking person response since I do not want to pay for something I do not owe since she sat out in her backyard and downloaded movies for over 4 hours after her boyfriend that works at the Verizon Store 2415 E. Baseline Rd. Phoenix, Arizona 85042 apparently gave her my information the day that his friend was configuring my MIFI.

Seriously all I want is an invoice, I have never received any invoices on this service period. Plus the reason I paid up front is I did not want to be on a contract. So the problem is back with Verizon since they changed all my account information to block my inquiries at the store. Yes I am whom  I am, I just would like an invoice and the MDN/MIN the same as was the original contract.

I just got the call today and when I called they refused to tell me who they were.  I had to provide my SSN first, when I refused they responded with sorry we call the wrong Darren.  Very strange!
