Called on 3/1/14 at 8:21 am.  Left message saying to call back.  When I called back it was a recording saying please leave your name, social security number and phone number and they would return call.  I did not leave any information.  I then blocked calls from that number.

Just rec'd a call from this number and a robo message was left that began with "This call is for "AG", if this is not the correct number for "AG" please call 877-209-6736 and we will remove the #."  We are an A/C company in Florida with 3 lines coming to the same phone so I was not sure which # they were calling but "AG" does not and has not worked for our company and we have had the same # since 1999.

I called the # which is Van Ru Credit Corp and explained to the polite gentleman that we do not have a person by that name at any of our #'s though I have received calls for "AG" for over a year from different businesses.  He took the #'s associated with our business and agreed to put all of them on their "do not call" list.  We'll see.

I got two calls recently and called back today. I told the person who answered that most likely it was a wrong number, and asked him to spell the name of the person whom he wants to reach. He missed part of my name. So I told him the correct spelling. I asked on whose behalf he was collecting debt. He dodged the question, instead proceeded to ask for my birthday. I asked him to identify himself and who he works for, he said his name is J.P.Mury (spelling), and he works for Van Ru Credit Corporation. I made the mistake of telling him my true birthday. He concluded, supposedly based on my name and birthday, that this is indeed a mix-up. But he then also asked for the town and state that I live in. Being tired after a long day of work and eager to hang up, I told him the true ones as well. He apologized then hung up. Now that I think about it, this sounds like a phishing call. I will check my credit report tomorrow. I read postings on this web site, regarding another number also associated with this company, that one person found his/her credit report showed debt associated with this company soon after a similar conversation. I blame myself for not being on alert, and hope this posting can make others more vigilant.

They have my Name and Cell Phone but have  wrong address and BOD..

Another month another number. Get a life. I'm not calling back and giving you my personal info. UNAVAILABLE?? So am I.

calls for Howard.. so and so and then when I listened further message was for Jerome so and so.. seriously! STOP CALLING ME! I am neither Howard or Jerome!

constant calling at all hours looking for someone else

Got a call today - Collection Call!

They are calling on behalf on "discover"

They have been calling my mother in law asking for me but I called it back n it went straight to playing music doesn't ring or anything just plays music nobody picked up the phone.

I get constant calls, all hours of the day.  The number was new and apparently not cleared. The caller wont stop calling any way.

"Trisha" called and left a message re collecting a debt. We have ZERO debt. Buncha scammers.

I keep ketting messages on my answering machine from them.  They claim to be a debt collection agency.  I have zero dept.  I called their number and got an answering machine asking for my social security number.  Forget that - I am not giving my social security number out when I dont even know what they want it for or why they are even calling me in the first place.

They left a message for someone that doesn't work at my business. They said that it was a debt collector. Had trouble understanding the company name.

Just ignore them blocking their calls.

Have received two calls from this number and message.that is left never states what they want.
