We also received a card for "two free airline tickets". Is this just a scam, or a "real deal"?

I received a postcard today stating I have won 2 free airline tickets to anywhere in the Cont. U.S. It also states they have been trying to contact me and it's not a timeshare or land sale offer! I am so fed up with the bogus offers that are being sent to the citizens of the United States and nothing being done about it, even when reported. Do they know how many desperate people there are out there who will fall for scams like this. It's bad enough that we get riped off by legitimate companies and organizations, such as taxes(the Government), utilities, fuel(gas for auto), food, and etc. Everybody wants to get rich, and the rich want to get richer, but give me a break with the scams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is the company information off the post card
VNI
270 Carpenter Drive

Sandy Springs, GA 30328
$50 per person deposit to cover taxes and government fees and surcharges appearing on the purchase receipt from the Airline.

Tearing up the post card and throwing it away

The Company responsible is "Vacation Network." They go around offering free stuff like roundtrip tickets or free vehicles with "no strings attached." They require you first sit through a sales pitch about vacation rentals with your spouse, show proof your household earns a minimum $40k and present a major credit card and driver's license. In case It's not obvious, this is a sales scam. Unless you're a lawyer and can get these guys, you should tear that postcard up.
