I'm a big 2A supporter but I've been a member of the NRA in the past and they are like leeches. I had to block. It's a pity.

It is the NRA. Call the number and see. I am sure they are either polling us or asking for a donation.
I am a member so I assume that is why they are calling me.

I answered the call and was connected to a person who said they were calling from the National Rifle Association. They asked for my husband (who used to be a member) and he didn't want to talk to them. I don't know what they want, but I assume they're asking for money.

This is the National Recovery Agency (NRA) that are trying to collect a or any debt rather pass due or written off by creditors in the past. Don't waste your time on them. They are bottom feeders trying to make a buck of all of you that get frustrated by them.
Go to the FTC http://www.consumerfinance.gov/ website and file a complaint. Then get call blocking and add 877- 437-4130, 703-291-9005 and 866-725-2769 as these are also used by this scum

If you google this number there are several places where it will tell you it's not even a legitimate number. It's spoofed. The scammers spoof their audio response as well. You can leave any darn message you want on that. You know that from your own machines in your home. I get so sick of everyone blaming the NRA. All the numbers and exchanges people are dealing with daily, and they all want to blame the NRA. Think about this intelligently people. The NRA would have to have been assigned EVERY SINGLE toll free number on the planet! Geez
dmoore 2014-06-17 20:11:00 Unknown
no need to call people idiots. in this day and age, the same numbers are spoofed for several reasons. Play nice Ferd!
Jenny 2014-06-17 13:19:17 Unknown
This is for sure NRA, if you call the number back, it will say "Thank you for calling National Rifle Association, we are sorry that we missed you"...blah blah blah

This is not the National Rifle Association, you idiots. It's a scam trying to collect money they claim you owe.

NRA (National Rifle Association) fund raising calls. I am a member but I just don't pick up. Don't make enough for this kind of "political contributions".
Wayne 2014-06-15 13:11:35 Unknown
I got rid of them also .
They hound you to death for money and send emails and letters all the time . I will never join them again .

It called and I pushed the call block button. Not much on this yet, but I did find one comment and all it said was NRA. Some numbers said to be theirs had blasted me EVERY DAY!!!! 7 days a week. Holidays too for a couple months, hence the 1000 number call blocker that is a charm. National Rifle Assoc. never responded to the 3 e-mails I sent them asking if it was them, so I have no reason to think it wasn't them. Could be that sludge National Recovery Agency also. But my wife and I have paid all our bills and no collections in our lifetime. Ever since I let my membership expire because money is tight and needed to pay bills and feed the fam, I guess The National Rifle Assoc. turned my number over to a third party calling service to get me to rejoin and then all heck broke loose, I guess my number was then sold to scam / spam callers too.
