I have an unlisted number and I get these calls anyway.   I do not answer toll free call numbers. If I block the number they call on another number.  They call all hours, all day and into the night. The "Do Not Call Registry" is a scam itself.   So many loopholes.  All calls get through.    

They call several times a day from Breast Cancer Society and a Veterans group.  Every time I tell them we are not interested in donating, they get very rude.  

I try to assist veterans groups but these people I'm not sure of because they tried to rip me off.
I keep a special credit card for donations that has a limit of $10 without an approval from me
When I gave them a $10 donation they tried to run it through for $30 which got turned down.
Then they'd call me everyday, I would tell them not to bother, that didn't seem make any difference to them.
Now I just answer the phone with my emergency air horn from the boat. Strange thing is, now they only call once a week.
One of these days they'll get the idea & not call at all :-)

My phone rings at least 5 times a day with the number 877-218-8371. Since I don't know who this is I don't answer, but our answering machine picks up. There is never a message left, so I assume this is some kind of a scam. No one should be calling me this often--it's harassment.

They called me 4 times in 24 hr period.  They use my first name as if we are friends.

find out where they live ,and shoot them in the face,there worthless c*** suckers,that won't get a real job,

This number called several times tonight, my husband said that when he answered they asked for $100.00 for children's cancer fund, and that he could pay over the phone by credit card, he said no, today I received a bill saying that he committed for $15.00
if its genuine I don't know.  Who are they actually getting donations for?

I keep receiving phone calls from this phone number. I am on the do not call list. Why in the world do they keep calling me? I tell them I am on the do not call list -- guess they don't understand English. duh

Just an update:  I told my mother to answer the phone the next time they call and ask to be removed from their list.  She did, and she hasn't received any calls since.  It's been a couple days so far.

O.K.  This is getting a little out of hand:

This is an information-sharing site for people who want to know which phone numbers are legit and which are scams.  Posting "stop calling me" here will NOT DO A DARNED THING.  Maybe people should READ the other posts and get a little information before posting indiscriminately.

Also, as many people have already said, this appears to be a charity.  Therefore, they are not bound by the rules of the Do Not Call list.  HOWEVER, they are obligated to remove your number when you ask them to do so.  It can take up to two weeks.  If you're still receiving calls then, then you are able to file a complaint.

I'm sorry for ranting, but all these useless posts drive me nuts.  LOL, with my luck, the next post will be, "Stop calling me.  I'm on the Do Not Call list."

Now, for information sharing.  My elderly mother has been getting these calls at 8 a.m. and 8 p.m. every day (which I believe is just within the bounds of when they can call?  Or is it 9 to 5?)  She doesn't answer unknown numbers, and they never leave a message.  I'll have her try calling the number someone posted on the first page.  Does anyone know if it's still active?

i have voice mail and not one so called company leave a message.let these irratating people know that if they leave a message,maybe we would call them back

anyboby can get unlisted phone numbers from the public library's. thats why i quit paying for the service.

I have been being called 4-5 a day. I had agreed to donate to a breast cancer group in Set and since then they have not stopped calling. I did not send the donation as I began questioning the charity. They also had one for child cancer. I am fed up with this continuation.

I called 1-800-248-352-2600 and spoke to a supervisor at this number.  She acknowledged the number was theirs and I told her I wanted my named removed from their database.  She agreed to remove it and apologized.  I will see if this was successful or not.  Good luck

Scammer claiming to be a charity.

I am receiving many calls from 877-218-31.  I don't answer these calls, having gone to REVERSE PHONE NUMBERS to discover who they are.  I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST, so why do these people continue to disregard it?  

caller pretends to know you and doesn't answer questions when asked. wont take number off calling list.

This person or persons have called two to three times daily.  We don't need this and are not able to give to anyone.  Please stop this!

They are relentless with their calls.  I have had to unplug my phone in my bedroom and God help them if there happens to be an emergency and my elderly parents cannot get in touch with me.  I live in an area where cell phone reception is sketchy at best...

I donated last month. This morning tjey called asking for breast cancer donation again then an hour later same number same woman called for armed.forces I daid diddnt you call me about breast cancer she said uh uh uh no and hung up

Yes, I get calls constantly from these damn people. I did answer one day, and they said they were taking donations for Breast Cancer, and I told them I already donate to the Susan G Koman fund because a friend of mine went through them when she had breast cancer, and these people made me feel guilty, and I said I would donate, and it took a while of arguing to send me a donation slip, because I would NOT give a cc or my checking account number!! Now they have been calling numerous times a day, so I finally answered again, and basically told the to STOP calling....and hung up. I then put their other number on the block list, and as of yesterday, they call every 10min, but it rings only once, then the phone hangs up...This is getting ridiculous, and I am ready to file a complaint with the police dept...they need to stop....

This number calls me all the time. No msg. and I do not answer unless I know who is calling.
