Got a laugh out of all the dopes here that say just tell them it's a wrong number and they'll stop calling.  What kinda bad drugs are you idiots on?  I've had the same jack***es calling looking for someone else for over a year.  I was polite the first half dozen times and told them it was no longer that person't phone number... AND THEY'RE STILL CALLING!!!
   Being nice does NOT work.  Now I get nasty from the beginning and say whatever to get them upset.  Works pretty good, especially when they tell me I don't have to be so mean.  Next up, a police whistle into the phone!

Called 3x in a row  to my cell phone with recorded message all 3 messages were of horrible audio quality and could barely understand them..

They called at 10:15am on a Tuesday.

I called them back after-hours (using a temporary-issue work cell phone). After being on hold, a lady answered looking for some guy named Robert who owed some money.

If they call again, they will be reported via http://www.fcc.gov/complaints

I keep getting calls from this number and on my cell phone I use for work. This is really annoying I dont know who these guys are an what they want! Would like to stop the calls!

This number keeps calling me.  Especially early on Saturday mornings.  There is never any message left.  I never pick up because I don't recognize the number and don't want to waste my minutes on a telemarketor.  I signed up for the Do Not Call Registry and am still receiving the calls.

received few calls from this number.  Never leave a message.  Upon googled the phone number came up with many hits about how abusive these people are.  I never answer unknown calls.  I'm also on do not call registry and they won't stop.  I have received a whole lot more calls like this after the housing market went south.  Definitely people are giving fake phone numbers for home loan.

I also received calls from 877-219-6601 multiple times and they never left a message. I called them back and the company was Capitol Management. They are a debt collection agency; so you either owe someone money or they have the wrong number. If they have the wrong number I recommend that you call them and let them know they have the wrong number because they are very persistant. It only took a minute and the receponist was very nice. OMG!!! i have going crazy! this company keeps calling our house! they want to talk with my elderly father. I will not let them so they won't give me any information. we do not owe any money to any company so its not for collection. they try and get info. I have been getting daily calls with no one on other end. they have at 7 am up until 9pm. im reporting them to BBB. I can't believe that i'm not the only one being harrassed.

The company is HSBC. Capital Management HUGE company, I didn't think I could ignore this company  much longer.  To take me to court would be like stepping on a bug, they wouldn't even know they did.  They sent me a letter of all their phone # that their company uses in trying to contact me, I liked that.    Sneaky though they got a  my cell phone number some how.  Sent me a letter offering me a great settlement,   I have so many debts I should of filed bankruptcy years ago I try not to answer any calls.  But they sent me a offer I couldn't refuse saving me over 5,000 dollars.  Of course I didn't want to pass up this offer. I didn't quite get enough money to pay by the dead line.  So today they called I answered   I got someone by the name of Andrew very nice and polite I told him I was trying to get the money and saving I also told them I almost have the full amount.  The company  offered me other options and a lower pay off.   Thanks HSBC, Capital Management  After 6 years of paying on credit cards I might be debt free in 2 years.

It is against the law for them to call you at work, look into the Fair Credit Act.

yes they are!!!! they are idiots. they call and hang up and when they do say anything they ask for a similar name but not the right name. i have told them they have the wrong number it hasnt worked. i have tried to file a complaint with BBB but i need toi find out where the company is located

The phone number 877-219-6601 keeps showing up on my cell phone.  I do not answer numbers I don't recognize, so therefore I don't know who is calling.  Is there some way to stop the aggravation of unwanted callers?

They just called me asking for Rick and hung up the phone. I'm waiting on them so i can hit 1400.00 on a chapter 7 and they get NOTHING because there a unsecured credit debt.So they can keep on calling me!

It's a freaking collection agency and YOU WORK THERE.  If anything you said were true, you wouldn't even be looking up the number on here.  Anybody in the situation you described should get a lawyer and stay the hell away from these crooks, but you are one of them, and your post is a big lie.

You and your fellow crooks don't help anybody but yourselves. And you violate the law constantly to do it. Now you think you can trick people on this site -- lots of CA's think the same thing, and like you, they are WRONG.
