I am an attorney pursuing CRG (Credit Recovery Group), learned very quicky thay the name I had to use for this lawsuit was PnL Agency L.L.C. the reason the owner uses 3 names and does not provide physical address is to prevent anyone from locating him for lawsuits or F.T.C. shutting them down. For everyone's info these are valid debts, the ammounts are very wrong, we learned that the owner applies any figure that he feels necessary to make him more money generally the figure we notice applied to many of these purchased debt os approximately $750.00-$850.00 keep in mind this is completely illegal. I have found several videos of the CRG staff, and it is astonishing they get any work done between bong breaks and hackeysack games. The managers are all snorting lines off a grimy toilet seat, and people apply for promotions by dropping to their knees and getting graded on their fellatio. This number belongs to a collection agency scam. They will lie and tell you that charges have been filed and a lawsuit has been brought forth against you. They will give you a "civil claim number" and then try to threaten you by saying "your summons is on the way". It is illegal for a debt collector to threaten you with jail time. This is a desperate attempt to try and get money from you. Do not verify your personal info with this company!!!!!

CCC is truly the scam. Credit consumer counselors is a joke. they charge a very large amount of money to assist people to settle there debts when in fact the consumer can do this on there own and save the money they would pay a CCC. 95% of the time consumer fall out of or drop out of the program because it is not successful.

I have found several videos of the admin for 800 notes and it is amazing to see them at work in there under wear sitting front of the tv with smoked filled room. As most collection agencies have access to searching people down, we have notice that there is a trend among those who are defiant against collection agencies. The reason people do this is becuase most credit reports are innacurate, lists that scam companies get by breaking into creditors data bases, as well as getting ahold of credit application information off of dummy websites and many different avenues including and not limited to ATM scanners.  The tactics that they use are completely unethical and the posts that are listed for the most part are accurate.  Please take some time and do your research before placing a judgemental post on this site. Also if you would've looked at the dates of the posts, you actually can see a trend on when these people attack the consumer.  Remember, this site is for consumor help and education.  NOT for unproductive ridicule and judgement. BE CAREFUL EVERYONE. SCREEN YOUR CALLS. SAVE YOUR VOICEMAILS AND KEEP VISITING 800NOTES.

A gentleman acting very stern has left messages for my brother. He stated that they have a verified address, charges and case against my brother and that he will not discuss this case further until he meets him face to face. Also, someone will be coming by to deliver paperwork regarding this case. He sounded legitimate and scary. I know what he's doing is illegal, especially in Florida. My brother worked in debt consolidation...he knows how to deal with these "a"holes...I can't wait to hear him call the jerk back!

This number called my boyfriends gpa saying my bf is in trouble and he needs to pay money. They even gave a case number. When I tried researching the number I couldn't get any info at first so I called from my Google voice number. The man said they're a mediation company but couldn't give me any more info bc I wasn't my bf. I called the number back 5 times and no ans. I researched 8772245416 and came across this site. Total scam!!!!!

It is not legit, they want you to believe that you are being sued and charges have been filed.......Do Not Fall For This Scam! I have reported this "CRG company" to the FTC, and my State Attorney office, and I reported them to my local sheriff's office. CRG......you have been officially notified!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I just did some research on them and found that they have offices both in Texas, Ca, and Fl. and they go by CR Group. I called them back again and they told me what this was for. I dont want to go in to details on this forum but looks like this is not for a payday loan.

This number is for a debt collection service (payday loans) and they try to trick you by having a "process server" named "Melissa Brown" call you. She will tell you that both a civil lawsuit and criminal charges have been filed, and she needs to verify your name, address, and place of employment so she can serve you with a summons. "Melissa"  will then tell you that you have been "officially notified" before she hangs up on you. I could hear other "process servers" in the background making the same calls to other people while I was on the phone with her. It sounded like a typical call center. Do not pay these scammers!!! The number left for me was 1-877-224-5416. I am waiting on my summons as we speak. I can't wait to let the judge hear the voicemails and phone recordings I have saved. I will be sure to let the judge know that the statute of limitations has passed, as well as detailing all of the FTC violations I have been keeping track of.

They have been calling my cell but I've been out of the country, I live in a high rise building with over 1000 people and a neighbor whom I've never met said that someone called her home and said they had legal papers they needed to deliver to me and wanted to confirm my address (Ian address I've lived at for almost 20 years!!). So now they reach out to people you don't know! I filed a report with the Attorney General's office in New York (a friend in the DA's office told me to do that). I also have a police precent down the block so I also reported the issue there. The FBI has a site where you can log the complaint - http://www.ic3.gov/default.aspx. The phone number left for me was 877-224-5416. This is a scam for sure but in NYC this kind of stuff won't fly so I welcome the visit....and I'll make sure the police are there.  If you have a case in NYC you definitely know the address!

Update - Some one knocked on my door this afternoon and I did not answer it as I was the only one home. This has to be related to these phone calls.
