They called at my job.
Grace 2014-01-06 23:13:28 Unknown
Told the lady I'd have to take a message for the guy she was trying to reach (he's out of the office). She sounded really reluctant to tell me what it was about--FINALLY said it was "about the car", wouldn't elaborate. Identified the company she was calling from as "Sykes", also reluctantly.
I had to tell her three times I wasn't the guy she was looking for--she kept asking me "Are you (guy)? I need to talk to (guy)." I'd tell her no, he's not in, I'd have to take a message, and she'd REPEAT HERSELF. "Are you (guy)? I need to speak to (guy)." Finally told her she wasn't listening, which made her upset, but she did finally stop asking if I was (guy).

it is from xm radio. they have resorted to calling my neighbors to try and reach me to renew my subscription.
NEVER.
Richi 2011-06-06 21:03:59 Unknown
2-5 times per day, pretty sure its xm radio
Aries 2011-06-06 21:03:59 Unknown
Lol i work there also and its not a scam call ... if people DO want to renew their better off speaking to some one who CALLS them instead of calling the customer service line, we're more efficient and get them signed up quicker .. customer service calls take a long time.
Kolett85 2011-06-06 21:03:59 Unknown
It's not a scam call.. it is xm radio, i work there and their just calling to renew trials.
CC 2011-06-06 21:03:59 Unknown
XM for sure. I just bought a new car recently and it looks like they want to get me to sign up after my 3 month free trial is over.
They must still be hurting since the merger with Sirius. I bought my car less then a month ago.

I have received calls from this number sporadically throughout the week. I didn't answer them except today. When I did no one would say anything, then a Hispanic sounding girl on the other end asked if Rex was there.
Shaniqua 2011-06-06 21:03:59 Unknown
It always feels like somebodys watching me.
Tulsan 2011-06-06 21:03:59 Unknown
This for sure is XM. I even talked once and then never picked up again. They keep calling to sign me up!
TT 2011-06-06 21:03:59 Unknown
Calls everyday, sometimes 2-3 times a day. Never leave a message. Company name not identified.
I am on the natational do not call register, but yet still get these annoying calls. Thy do not identify who they are I will not call back or answer the call.
hoju 2011-06-06 21:03:59 Unknown
XM would make sense since my free trial just ran out a month ago. It's funny as the called id doesn't show it, but prior to my service running out I would get calls that the Caller ID identified as XM =) Don't they know if they take their name off the caller Id we are even less likely to answer???

I'm getting them and I only cancelled 1 of 3 subscriptions as we sold a car that had it and kept it on the other car and boat. Pretty persistant people.

Here is the catch with fm! I used to work telemarketing for xm there is like 5 different campains day 20 for the first time you get you car and they ask to see how you like it and the try to get you to sign up! Day 80 is when you free trial is about to expire and they try to get you to sign up again! Then there is day 120 when they call to let you know they will re start your service with no activation fee! And then there is last chance where they call months after you trial us over that's when they get desprit and offer you a good deal which will be 1yr at 77 dollars or 5 months at 19.99 so they are not bad offers! So for those who like it just mention one of these the next time they call you and they are forced to give it to you! And you can always cancel with out penalties! Oh and being on the do not call list doesn't help you agree to these calls when you buy your car! But when they call just tell them you want to be put on the do not call list mind you it does take about 2-4 weeks before you are actually removed! And sorry we don't make the calls a computer dials and when you pick up it will send the call to a representitive! And one last thing we are not allowed to leave messages! Trust me all these rules frusterate us as well when we get yeld at LOL! Well just try out one of those deals and maybe you just might like it!

Added this number to my contacts, then placed a custom ring-tone of MUTE to it. They continue to call, but I never notice.
Jennifer 2009-07-13 20:41:10 Unknown
I get a call from this number almost DAILY! After I've told them three times NO. Very annoying
LL 2009-07-12 21:53:57 Unknown
These knuckle-heads call almost every single day. Today is Sunday and I finally got PO'd enough to call them back. I have never had XM, don't want XM. The chick with a foreign accent said I had an account. NO I DON'T. She wanted my name and number. I gave her the number only to remove from the list, and told her my name was none of her business. Morons. I like the guy here who said he is calling them every 20 minutes and bugging the hell out of them!

I had my xm radio stolen. I then canceled and blocked that radio and at the same time ordered a new one to replace it. I am a current subscriber and keep telling them so but I continue to be harassed at all hours of the day. HELP!!
WeAreScrewed 2009-07-09 23:00:18 Unknown
It is XM. I had it in my last car which was a lease. I cancelled it before turning it back in. I got a new car, I haven't even put on the radio since this has a IPOD/MP3 capability. They have been calling ever day for a month. Sometimes twice. I just let it ring and ring. If they left a message maybe, maybe I would pickup next time, or even call back.
Diane 2009-07-06 19:57:21 Unknown
When they call harrass them back. That's what I do now. The last lady I told her to learn to speak english properly and I would think of renewing...she hung up on me...and havent heard back.

XM Came with my car also. Within the last week they called and I told them I did not want to continue the service after the trail. They called again today. When I receive the next call I will report them to the gov't NATIONAL DO NOT CALL REGISTRY at https://www.donotcall.gov/default.aspx
You have to be registered for a number of days before you can report unwanted calls
kenB 2009-07-02 22:32:59 Unknown
I have had XM on three cars for four years and they are calling 4 times a day for the last month. I havent picked up (call blocked after two rings) but the other day I changed my phone number to 111-111-1111 on my XM account page and they seem to have to stopped.
PITA for sure, between them and Charter its 6 calls a day.
BLB 2009-07-01 02:43:35 Unknown
I recently purchased a used vehicle and I started receiving calls from this number. Since I have been on the National do not call list, I have filed a complaint. I don't know how much good it will do but it can't hurt.
wtc 2009-06-29 23:43:46 Unknown
I got XM with my new car and never listen to it. I get two to three calls a day. I just check my caller ID and don't pick up.
Rich 2009-06-28 17:46:28 Telemarketer
XM Radio called again on a Sunday afternoon around 1:30 PM. This was the 5th time they called and both my wife and I told them no thanks all the other times.
We refuse to pay for radio when there is such great stuff on free radio.
JJ 2009-06-28 17:23:14 Unknown
Yeap, I got one too after I bought my car and the XM service expired. Now, I got calls twice day since the day my XM trial expired. Lucky I have caller ID, I will never anwser calls from this number-noway! I am going to call my phone company and have them blocked. Good luck everyone.
CJ 2009-06-27 14:02:19 Unknown
They call me twice a day, even on weekends. So annoying!
Jess 2009-06-26 15:51:52 Unknown
How long has it been on the Do Not Call Registry? It usually takes about 30 days to take effect...
Jess 2009-06-26 15:50:33 Unknown
If you tell them not to call, they need to stop.
There are millions of people out there, and XM is not trying to make a living, it is the people calling you that are. It comes with the job. If you say not to call, they cannot call you. XM Still pays them regardless of if you say do not call or not. If they don't like there job, maybe they should look for something better...I'm sorry, but I am pretty sure that harassment is not on the job description.
