I got a text "thanking me" and saying to "call for your $100 gift card". 877-225-3453 I called and asked for the name of the company and was hung up on.  I called back and spoke with Ardie #2327. The name of the company is Discount Savings Club based out of the Philippines.  The actual number the text originated from was 337-442-3452 which goes to what sounds like an answering machine. I traced that as a land line from Breaux Bridge, LA

I received a text from this # thanking me and offering a $!00 gift card.  When I called to find out who they were, they hung up on me.

Got the same message - "Let us show our thanks - call 877-225-2304 For your 100 Dollar Gift Card.  Gift Code 3C"  

I filed a complaint with the "Do Not Call" Registry, since I have registered all my phone with this listing.

Got the same msg: "We Want to Thank You Call 877-225-2304 For Your 100 Dollar Gift Card Gift ID 4AC Txt Stop to Unsub" Mine came from the number 1-909-358-0803

Got a message texted to my cell phone saying: for your $100 gift card  Gift ID 12X
TXT Stop to unsub

Call back # 877-225-2304.

The call came from the following number which I could find nothing on except that it is a cell phone: 207-423-9967

I got the same message everyone else has gotten about the $100 gift card.  The originating number seems to change, but the call to number appears to stay the same.

THIS IS A SCAM. This is a version of the advance-fee-for-something scam where something is a grant, loan, scammed-money refund, lottery winnings, interest rate reduction, tax reduction, gift card, refund, doggie, cruise, vacation, free gas, etc., and the advance-fee is for tax, shipping, registration, insurance, secure handling, processing, etc. They may send you a fake check, may want your credit/debit card or bank account number, or tell you to wire cash via Western Union, Moneygram, etc. They can put recurrent difficult-to-cancel monthly charges or a 1-time charge on your card or bank account, and sell account info to other criminals and you'll have to replace accounts altogether. Wired-cash is irretrievable - once it's picked up at the other end, it's untraceable and gone. If they want you to call them up for instructions, they may tell you not to discuss the wire with Western Union desk clerks but the real reason is WU clerks are familiar with these scams and will warn you not to wire the money. I just received the same text and phone... I google this first and thanks to you guys posting, I will not reply so I do not get on a 'working number' database. It already cost me one of my allotted text per month just to receive it. Kd.

I recieved this text today 6/13/11 at 7pm.  We wish to thank you call 877-225-2304 for your 100 Dollar Gift Card I caled them and they wanted my first and last name I gave it to them then they wanted me to Sign up for some kind of money savings program and send them 4.95 to get my card and try the program free for 30 days. i told them this number 1 is faulse Advertisement because if someone says you basicly won something why should you have to send them money and sign up for any programs and for 2 its Against the law here in the State of Florida!!!!!!!!      needless to say they hung up on me as well!!!!!!!!!!

I received a text message from 9315398903 to call 8772252304 to receive 100 dollar Gift Card ID 12X for Target or WalMart

Just got same call with numbers:478-442-2566 &877-225-2304 wishing to "thank me" on my cell phone. Called the numbers they wanted my name, when I was insistent for them to tell me who they were, hung up on me.

Received a text thanking me and telling me that I have $100 gift card.  Called back the number and when they answered I asked who was this and they hung up.  I texted the number and told them to remove me from the call list immediately.

this is what the text message said.  I have no idea what it's about,  I texted stop to that number, because I'm not sure how much it would cost me if I didn't.
This type of scam MUST be stopped!

the fourth Time I called they gave me " Short Message Sending Company" as Their Name and Claim to be Legitimate but I dont Think So....Again I never Bought A Card and the text came from 254-577-1551
