This caller , Mark brown, calls and reports to be with French & french Law Firm and threatens and demands using foul language and demeaning language.  Tries to collect on bogus collection accounts.  I am pursuing to attorney Generals office

Received a call from French and French.  Did not know who it was at first.  I called the number back and a man answered law office.  Then in a few minutes he called back.  His name was Mark Brown and he said he was from French & French.  Now I find this odd in a few ways.  One, law offices do not answer just law office, they identify themselves. 2. All info I find on them list them as a collection agency.  The number that called was877-275-5986, then 270-495-0287 his personal number.  When you do a reverse it gives you no name of a company.

I am an attorney in Rhode Island filing a lawsuit against French & French accussing it of trying to collect a debt from my client that she had already resolved.  I would be interested in hearing from other people who may have been had similar experiences with French & French.

Wow, I am so happy I took the time to look these people up on line! I have gotten the rudest most unprofessional phone calls from this number by MARK BROWN who also answers the phone for this company. I don't get how these days these peoples at these jobs just  feel OK about calling people who are obviously in their lives and harass them. Again thank you for all who posted here and now I feel better knowing that I am not the only one who's being emotionally drained by this company. Thank you again.

Calling people LIARS is name callin. Have you read some of these, unfiltered, unverified postings. Give me a break. Helper. I know how to spell just typing fast , and you are unable to correct mistakes after you post, but thanks anyway.

I stated on my reply to real attorney, if they were a real attorney they would post their name as I have seen many attorneys do when and IF they take the time to go to a web site. I am sure his client had no problem paying his hourly fee rate so he could post that......how gullable are some of youe people............sad

I'm not scared to put my name on here "helper". When asked by people for validation of debts, we provide them.There are enough people who honestly want to pay their debts, just need time or help. To try and use the fdcpa for cover on a legitimate debt, is only stalling the inevitable. Dont forget "counselor",

Another total BOGUS posting. We are a reputable firm ewho has helped thousands of people over the last 20 years resolve there debts. I find the people who post on here are trying to dodge their obligations so bad, they are too scared to even answer the phone...Alan (probally not your real name),

I have decided to start replying to these BOGUS posting on here . The atty in ny was most likely Bronson & Migliaccio. We handled 56 million dollars in debts including 25 million out of NY. These were judgment accounts where the individual had to be SUED to do the rite thing. No scammers here except the people posting!

Mr welch you are a liar, I can not disclose the information obtained by your x wife(not legally). You account was credited all the money you paid. You may want to call your creditor, and you will wind up rite back here. We are legitimate and we will sue people who do not honor their obligations to our clients. You may also want to check out this link, when you think you have beat your creditor out of the money you legally owe them.

started receiving phone calls from french and french and also from a law firm called huddleston and huddleston with a kentucky are code.  needless to say they have gotten me for about $1050 but no more.  i am contacting my bank and attorney general offices in maryland, pennsylvania, kentucky and new york to report violation.  These guys had the nerve to cuss me out on the phone and my exwife!!  They had my original credito right but everything else was wrong.  So they are not getting anymore out of me.  If the creditor wants to sue me, send me the papers.

OMG....Thanks for the warning, I had been paying an attourney in NY State for some time when I received a letter from French & French, these guys had all my info but some of it like the last payment date was wrong & the amount owed was wrong & the amount of my last payment was wrong but they had the correct mailing address, my name & the original creditor. Had even called the attourney in NY to tell them I was no longer  sending my payments to them. Thanks for the heads up, I was able to get back on track with my payments & kept my file current with the attourney's office. Keep the posts coming.

French and French out of Bowling Green,KY. SCAMMERS. Thank you for the info. I almost sent these people money. Their letter says to stop paying any and all creditors and forward money to them. You can never get anyone on the phone. Some guy named Wayne called saying that I was about to be arrested. BEWARE !!! Do not send money to this bogus company. They work out of a strip mall. I called their neighbors who say that they smell marjuana coming from inside the building at all hours of the day.FRENCH AND FRENCH.
