Anybody had any dealing with this company or is it a scam?

Well, I applied for my DBA on Friday and they have not stopped calling since! I should have never put my cell on that application!

The want you to enroll in their bank card processing.

A bit of googling for this number produced the address mikeo@affiliatedmerchantservices.com .  Emailing this address got me (1) a promise to remove my number on the same day and (2) a bogus apology.

Trust me.  From the little experience I have with this meathead, I would tend to agree with you.  Mikey, Mikey, Mikey... perhaps if you weren't such a meathead, you would have more clients.  Later.

Yup - it's a credit card merchant called "Bank Card P.O.S." (funny).  I registered a DBA also, and that is probably where they got my number from. Here is the (not very accurate) Google Voice transcript of the message they left:

"This is Lisa calling with bankcard few laughs. We specialize in Point of Sale solution for new businesses. I just industry leaders, we offer the very best and visa. masterCard processing along with Guaranteed Lowest Prices on. Q less equipment and software the start accepting. All major Credit Debit and check cards to receive a free quote in the state of the our point of sale systems, Press. 9. Now to speak with a live representative to be removed from our marketing list, press 8."

Selling bank credit card processing, robo-call automatic call.  Must have picked up number from HUB application with state.

Merchant Services...they harass...lie...and give false info...number should be taken from them...Joe Garza...phone solicitor...very rude and "pushy"...Joe Garza...Joe Garza...where is this company located!
My phone number is a business number andI am on a do not call list...
have been for years...somehow "they" still get the business number!!!

That last message was rude. This site is helpful, but then you get jerks like these. I'd never use my full name in a forum such as this.

I recieved a call from this number several times this week. They wanted to know if I was set up for credit card verification. But this is not a business phone.

Received a call. When I answered I just heard breathing. Hang up.

I have had 5 calls this morning, all varying strange numbers, one right after the other, with credit card offers.  When I told them to take me off their list they were spamming me, they just laughed, hung up and a new number called!!!!!  Freaking frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Calls started coming from 800-918-6753 then when those weren't answered (we are a business and were busy with other calls at the time)they started coming from 877-232-2370. A search of both those numbers brought me here and it looks like they are both from the same "company". No message left on voicemail...

They have called my phone 14 times today so far!!!!!  How annoying!!

Something about a dell computer for our business?!! They called all day yesterday too from a different number. 800-918-6753. I told them I wasn't interested. Apparently they don't get it.

Computer message was left on my voice mail about free Dell Computers.  Called 4 times in one day.  I got an identical voice message a couple of days later from 815-436-9766.

Incessant phone calls. We're up to eight so far today. Definitely not planning on picking up! Jerks.

I let this number eat my voicemail, which features a long musical intro ;-)

Googling the number in Jan 2009 yields it as the FAX number listed on the website fcdaily.com, supposedly this is "freedom charge".

Googling "Freedom Charge" yields freedomcharge.com, which Google has listed as "this site may harm your computer."  

So, 'nuff said.  Racket, for sure.  Just don't know who's mafia ;-)

These flippin creaps call me several times a day!!! Do not answer their calls.

Someone called me from this number asking for the business owner, I stated I was the owner (Which I am) and he then laughed at me and said "Ok honey, I'll call back when HE is available" then hung up, Which is very disrespectfu, seeing as he assumed the business owner was a MAN. If it was a sales call, which I assume it was, he isn't getting my business.
