Got a txt message:

Just got this text also, but said it was from superior credit union and card was deactivated, I have not had an account there in 10 years. SCAM!!!

On 10/23/9 at 6:53PM a text message came in on my cell phone as stated:
From Bank of the Commonwealth as follows:
Alert. your card has been deactivated-please contact us at 877-232-2455 to activate your card. (I do not have an acct with the bank.
I called the bank today and reported what had happened. As suspected, it is a scam

Just got the same text that my Commonwealth card had been deactivated. I did not call the number.

Just got the same text but I didn't call the number. I did call that bank to let them know. I don't bank with them and never have! Scammers for sure!!!

Just got this text. I immediately knew this was a scam of some sort. I wonder if there is any government sites where i can report this number.

This text states it's from the CommonWealth bank, "your card has been deactivated please call 877-232-2455. When you call a recording wants your 16 digit card number then your pin! to reactivate LOL hopefully noone will fall for this scam! I notified the bank of this problem. P.S. I don't even use this bank.
