Well, I just got a call and didn't answer. If they are claiming to be from AT&T, , it must be a scam. I live in Canada, and we don't even have AT&T in this country.

This number calls me every morning around 8:30. I answer to tell them to delete my number but before I can say anything but hello they hang up. Seriously tired of being woken up by this! I've never used AT&T, so I know I don't owe them anything.

These guys are a pain in the a** and are very hard to understand due to their poor English.  I figure they are calling to wase my time, so I turn the table on them and put them on hold until they hang up.  I do not owe AT&T any money, AT&T sent me a bill after I terminated my business service with them.  I was not under any kind of contract with AT&T and I am pretty pissed off they are trying to bill me for terminating my service with them.  If They would not have increased my bill 40%, I would still be with them.  I have had multiple problems with my AT&T Wireless service, AT&T Business service, AT&T residential service and my AT&T Yellow Page advertising.  I am done with this greedy, worthless company.  They will not see another dime from me!!!

Got a call twice telling me its on behalf of ATT to collect an unpaid bill. Cant remember who they said they were. But wanted to get bank info. I hung up both times. Called ATT and they assured me that they do not even contact anyone via phone about an unpaid balance. If someone does have an unpaid balance, they said it will be clearly printed on the invoice. needless to say it is already getting on my nerves.

I received a call from this phone number. When I answered, a man said "who is this?" I said "who is this? you called me" He said he was looking for a company and again asked for my name. I said you called me who are you? He said something (his accent was so strong I couldn't understand). And asked for my name again saying he needed my name and info to remove my number from his "list". I said no then he said I told you all my information now you tell me yours. At that point I said remove this number from whatever list you got it from. That this is a private residence with no outstanding bills to anyone so never call again. Hung up!

Just got a call from this company. All my AT&T accounts are up to date. This is a big fat scam. Don't listen to any of the emails that say otherwise.

This is a scam. They are calling about a an ATT account I paid and transferred to another name. They are buying lists and it's a middle eastern caller every rime.

If this is a number associated with a collection agency for AT & T, they are up a creek. I put them on notice to NOT call our office regarding a bill that we are disputing, contact by mail only, as their collectors are rude, unprofessional and unethical, yet I received another call today. If you put a collector on notice to not contact you by phone at your home or place of business, they must respect that request and contact only by mail. Apparently their collectors do not have a good grasp of the english language, verbally or in written form and if they call again, I will get the whole thing written off due to their propencity to skirt the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

I got a call from them saying that I have an AT&T bill through my business that is not paid. They could only give me the first name, and not the last name on the account. I asked them to please send me an invoice, and they hung up. This is in fact a scam, if it was a debt collector they would not hang up.

They call all the time for ATT.  AND...others call about same disputed (DISPUTED) ATT old, old bill.  Just sue or write off or be quiet.  No one in his/her right mind would give some clerk somewhere across the world SS number, DOB, etc.  So, sue in small claims (expect countersuit!)  or get off the phone.

Called saying I owned on a telephone bill. Couldn't give me a town or address where service was used. Said they were collecting for ATT.

Disconnected AT&T long time ago.  Before cancelling the account, I had checked with AT&T for possible ADDITONAL charges.  Got the final bill showing zero balance.  Start getting a bunch of calls from this number and when I called back AT&T, the rep assured me there is no balance due.  Even got a refund check for $29.90, dated 12/14/11 for disconnecting-- which is a real weird since I had disconnected the account more than a year ago.  Today, another phone call.  GUSH.

This is a collection agency fishing for information on debtors.  They call at all hours!
I have never even heard of the company they are looking for -- Total Harassment!!

they call my cell then it goes to vm and for about 2 1/2 minutes they play hold music.

I have received two calls from this phone number. First time I let them leave a vm, which basically said they were looking for the owners of a company.  Second time was a few days later, I answered and they hung up right away.

I am SICK AND TIRED of these unwanted calls. Yesterday they called a total of 10 times and finally when id pick up, they'd hang up on me. Its bull s***. If you think its real, you're a scammer so go f*** yourself. Bi***. Wasting my daytime minutes.

I have received many calls from 877-234-6979 leaving message saying they want to speak with a business owner -or financial accountant. They also call and hang up when I answer.

Once I answered, there was a delay and then a hang up.

TROLL ALERT

Trolls always claim something is LEGIT when it is not.  They cannot form a proper sentence, and type in all CAPS,.

I received a lot of calls from this number and the Indian on the other end spoke poor English. They claim to be collecting for AT&T. I called AT&T myself to find out they did have an outstanding bill from a business I had closed down months ago. They are sending me a copy and I will deal with them direct. I will never deal with these Indian SOB's because their part of the problem.

This number is a scam. Ignore the post on this site that say their is any legitamcy to this company. They were most likely posted by this bunch of foreign scammers.

I got a call from Alliant law group and i resarched on it .. it is a legitimate company ....they do business with AT&T for collecting phone bills

I get a call every month to my AT&T work phone from this number. They are looking for someone (not me) on an outstanding bill. They used to leave messages but not anymore. I have returned the call and asked them to remove my name as this is my WORK cell phone and the bill is paid directly to AT&T every month by my employee (large multi-national corporation) and they continually ask for someone I don't know and doesn't work for this company.

I'm pretty sure it's not a scam (at least in my case) but annoying nonetheless.
