Thay wont stop all at all hours of the night!!! from 8am to 11pm... I hate it!!!

They call all day everyday and nobody answer!

I think it's kind of hilarious that people posting comments here think that if they post "STOP CALLING ME" on this site, their tormenters will somehow magically find their comments, read them, and stop calling... and it's not like they're even posting their phone numbers to be (magically) removed, either!  

Maybe the site should post a warning that posting a "do not call" on the site doesn't work?  Or is that to be considered catering to the uber-clueless?  It's just that it happens a lot, so maybe people aren't quite getting what this site is about?

Here's the first post from 2011 on this number, it appears they're back at it.  They called at 10:08AM, so at least it wasn't one of their 8AM calls, as complained about previously.  I did not pick up, they did not leave a message.

They had my number associated with someone else. It was either a wrong number or an old number.  (I've only had this number for a few weeks now)

They said they would remove the number from their files

I called for information on some coarses on line and pricing,bad idea.We have decided to try somewhere else,Ashford U.keeps on calling even after I said we were pursuing somewhere else if I were to pursue more courses in the future at all and thanking them for their input.They still keep calling.

ashford univ sounds like a scam school based on the nasty people running the call centers. i got a call from a real jerk named alex noble. his boss is mitch.thomas@ashford.edu. they also called me from 563-508-4256 and 877-241-9893. i've been on the do not call list since 2001. and have no previous dealings with this company. they clearly have a total disregard for the law. let them know if you're upset.

Jut because your getting calls from a school doesn't 100% mean you requested anything.  Ever fill out for a loan, a job, a survey online where you had to give info to see the results?  What about looking for Grants because you're in school???

The game is played this way:  When you do this, the third party vendor who just got all your information sells it to schools for about $40 each time.  Not all are ethical, obviously. However the more schools they can sell you to, the more money they make because it's very unlikely you'll tell the school you didn't request info so the school can get their money back.

I worked for a school once where I was able to prove the names provided were being pulled from the phone book.  We even called people who's relatives related had been dead for a few years.

Answer the call and tell the school you didn't request.  

I'm just posting because they broke the law and called before 8AM.  Being I do the same job, I know for a fact that's illegal.

I get calls from these idiots all the time.  Do what I do, wait a bit and call back.  Hang up when they say the intro and start saying hello.  Makes them stop what they are doing, just like I had to.  Gives me pleasure, I do it 20 times a day or so.

They call me at all hours, even on Sundays. There is never a voicemail. Today they sent me a text message demanding that I call them. I have no dealings with Ashford University. I am also on the do not call registry.  Please stop calling and by NO MEANS should you be texting me!

My wife deals with disgruntled callees regularly, who went flipping through a random website or employment website without paying attention to little check-boxes that say "Would you like information about furthering your education?". They DO NOT use dialers, and only call those who have expressed interest, either intentionally or unintentionally. Pay attention the next time you apply or sign up for something.

I am so tired of these people calling me.  They call at least 4 times a day but never leave a voicemail.  It gets really annoying because I work all day and my phone is constantly ringing with these dilweeds.  I know that it's Ashford University, but I wanted information through e-mail.  I don't know how they got my cell number but I wish they would stop calling me!

If you receive a call from them, it may be because you either applied to go to school there or someone that was accidentally entered your number. The school must follow Do Not Call registry. Be sure that you sign up for the do not call by going to donotcall.gov and have your number registered there.

I didn't give this school permission to call me... I didn't give them my phone number. Please stop calling me, remove me from you're phone date calling list. I'm not interested in your school. Thank you, Ashford University for respecting my wishes.

received a call from this number. google shows that this number belongs to Ashford University. I don't have anything to do with them.
