I received a text msg to call this number.

(customer.notification@visa.com/ "Card Block Alert". To find out why you receive this alert call 1-877-245-1472. Thank you. /)

It is highly suspicious. I don't own any credit cards and there is incorrect grammar in that txt. Please watch out for these.

Received the same text a few minutes ago. You can't get a live person, so I replied with an extremely vulgar text of my own. Probably no one will actually see it (likely an automated phishing program), but it made me feel better. Sad, now I am cursing a computer, pathetic :-)

This was actually a text message that I also received on my cell phone. The txt message said: customer.notification@visa.com/ "Card Block Alert". To find out why you receive this alert call 1-877-245-1472. Thank you. /

It is a SCAM. If you call the number it automatically tells you that it is from Credit Union and Card Services and their records indicate that your card has been restricted. It further asks you to stay on the line and then asks you enter you credit card number. Do not enter you credit card number. It is a phishing scam.

I just received the same text from visa.com. I actually called thinking it was my credit fraud alert but when it automatically asked to input my card number I said "yeah freakin right!" Hung up right away. I can't stand these attemps.

I agree with the others, this is a potential phishing scam. Report this number to your banks and let your friends know.

I called and entered a bunch of bogus info.  It says the card could not be activated and to try again. I gave it a bunch more of bogus info. Eventually it says to call customer service but gives no phone number.

Keep pissing in their database, costing them money and tieing up their phone line. If you try this I would suggest using *67(caller ID block).

Got a similar call from this number and they ask for your credit card info. DO NOT provide any details. Can we report this to "Visa" as this scam is done under their name?
