It is Applied Bank- I saw all the  posts below and all I can say is Pay Your Bills.  
They called me because my payment was late-which ist was.

Yes the call center is not in US- none are any more.

I have had a CC with this company for about 5 years I got it because I had Bad Credit and was trying to repair-

I have never had problems with them- the peole in this thread complain about bill collectors calling them- Guess what- when you don't pay your bills then they call you- then pay your bills.

If they are calling about yoru spouse it is because your spouse added you as a contact number and as a spouse you are obligated to their bills as well. get a clude delinquents

MOST LIKELY A PHISHING SCAM  Never had a card from Applied or from Cross.  Don't owe anything on any credit card.  still getting multiple calls daily from (877) 245-661x  I screen my calls, and they never leave me a message.  Block one number, and the calls keep coming with different last digit.  Also getting many bogus calls from 561.443.2366, 561.982.897x, 281.227.6119, 718.530.7229, 321.232.5135

Have a SECURED card from them for $1000.00. Lost my job and told rep over phone close acct. Said they could not until I make the minimum payment. Really? I'm at my credit limit but it is a secured acct.....that means you close it and keep the security deposit. THEY REFUSE and are reporting to credit bureaus I'm delinquent. They even sent me an email starting they would charge off my account soon. What the hell.....you can't charge off a secured loan. Still Applied bank calls me 7 or 8 times daily from different numbers and they have called from anonymous as well.

I am getting calls from this number every day on my cellphone. I don't answer these calls because I do not know who they are, nor do I have any account with them. I personally believe  they are a bunch of SCAM ARTISTS trying to get personal info. My cellphone# is not listed anywhere, and it is a new number, never before used and only 1 other person knows my number, my sister, so that indicates to me some sort of SCAM or PHISHING ploy.

These people have been calling for the past couple of days, but they will not leave a message.

Same here, they offered a low cost credit card to my husband, and now because he is only two days late, they are charging $180 late fee.
This is outrageous. Now they have 3 or 5 debt collectors calling at the same time.

I  started off paying like I was supposed to with this company. Me and my husband had a card, the minimum payment was 35 dollars. Now I refuse and cannot pay this huge bill for being a couple of days late, 175 dollars. Call me nonstop. Will be paying off the card and never ever will consider them again. It is awful, they even charge you excessive amounts for even using it for purchases. DON'T EVER USE THIS CARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I received a call from 877-245-6613. They've called a few times claiming to be from Applied Bank, trying to give me information about my account, which is currently in the hands of a Debt Management Firm, and I have a letter confirming this.

The 877 number was the one listed by my caller ID, the number they gave as a return was 866-297-6141. That was a fax number.

I was told that the credit card companies would attempt to call me, and that I should get them to call my Debt Management company. Alex, a representative that I spoke with from Applied Bank, heard this and still tried to get me to make a payment of $100 on the account.

I hung up on him.

Very similar experience as Tenacious J. I've received a couple calls from Applied Bank over the past week. I never heard of the bank before I started receiving calls from them. Upon calling back, I am asked for my account number.

The second time I called back I explained my situation, and was told they would flag the number. I then started asking questions, but didn't get very far.

Where are you located? - I was speaking to a call center in India.
Do you have a website? - Sir, I cannot give you any more information as you do not have an account with us.

I asked a few more basic questions but she gave the same answer.

Applied Bank. They keep calling my husband's cell phone saying they need to speak to me about my account with them. I have no account with them and have never heard of them. I called them back tonight and they asked for my account # (don't have one) then my SS# (not giving them that) and then my DOB (wouldn't give them all of that). They said they'd flag it as a wrong # and that was it. No explanation of why they're calling, how they got the number, why they think I have an acount with them, regardless of my questions. And of course, the call center you're talking to is not in the US.

Just received a call from 877-245-6613 and it is Applied Bank credit card. My card is in excellent standing and with a mininal balance owed, but its a tactic they use to get you to pay more. They were sneaky enough to call with the number exposed and then call back 3 minutes later from an "Unknown" number. Don't fall for it!

This number belongs to Applied Bank, a credit card issuer, formerly known by the name of Cross Country.  These people hound me several times a day, even though my account is paid to an amount under my $300 credit limit and have reported me to the credit bureaus because they want an outrageous minimum payment that is now up to $160.00, half of my entire balance.  Avoid these people at all costs.  They also call from 877-245-6610 and 877-245-6614.
