tx message what cretit card frozen

It is a scam. I got it as well on 9-14-09 three back to back times. Luckily I had seen it on the news already.

I have no idea who this is.

Just recieved a text stating that my netspend acct. has been blocked...dont own a netspend acct plus its asking for 16 digit cc num to unblock.  Call back number on this one is 210-399-7919, just texted back SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!

I just got this text message telling me my account is frozen from 3738.... I'm soo glad you guys noted this in the internet... I almost called that number! I'm totally reporting this scam into to my service provider. Thanks!!!

Message was "legacy card is frozen. Please call at 877 250 6584!"

I don't have a legacy card, I assume this is a scam.

For the life of me, I don't understand why these people are not getting caught.  This first started with me about 6 weeks ago, and I pay for every one of these insane messages.  The Feds hopefully are monitoring these site but, if so, why is this ongoing?  They can triangulate signals and catch these pigs in a matter of hours.  To Gini - I'm really sorry this has happened. I'm not as bad off as you are, but it's impacting me financially, too, and I'm getting fed up.  C;mon law enforcement - please go after these people.  They're clearly phishing.

I have received a couple of text messages over the course of a week in regards to the same topics reported:

"3600: 311@tmomail.net / / Info Message :Legacy Card is frozen. Call at 877 250 6584!"

That is the message via text...exactly as it is displayed! It's the fourth I've received in about a week. I have NOT for any reason called that number or sent a reply back to any of those that came prior to this one.

It's SPAM! Do not reply to them. Do not call them. I have no idea where this issue has surfaced from, or how my phone number was provided to them.

Yup got it too. It talks about a card being frozen.

My husband is critically ill.  Because of these scammers using my texts, I had to add money to my account to be taken from my check acct every month.  When I tried to text them to tell them to stop, I rec'd a text saying my mail was rejected!  They have continued.  Tomorrow is another day of surgery for him and those scammers have made me a wreck.  My txts are so I can call fam members while in hospital.

This is a scam.  Both me and my wife received a sms from 311@tmomail.net saying our legacy card is frozen call 877 250 6584!

I called to see what it was, they ask for your credit card number.

I just received the same message from short code "3547" and is really freaked me out for a second. The body of the message is as follows:

Dialed number and requested that i enter my 16 digit card number. Please do not enter. This is a scam.

I just received a text message from 788@tmomail.net stating that my Credit Union Card is frozen and to call 1-877-250-6584

I just got the same text message as mizzes did just now.

just got a text (for the second time) sender (3690) c.u@tmomail.net "your credit union card as been frozen. Please call 1-877-250-6584!" THIS IS A SCAM!!!! CALLED MY MOBILE PROVIDER AND THEY SAID THEY ARE REQUIRED TO FILE A FRAUDULENT REPORT WITH SOME GOVERNMENT AGENCY REGARDING MESSAGES SUCH AS THESE. They suggest that anyone who receives these message contact your mobile provider as well. Maybe we can then put a stop to this!

the one i received about a week ago was "41@tmomail.net.  Guard your phone number (be careful who you give it to as well as your email address. They can use mobile phone numbers now to pass along viruses and hack into your information (this is information that my mobile provider passed along to me)

Just got a text message asking me to put my 16 digit card number in to reactivate my card....no message, no operator, is definately a scam wich I'll be reporting is from c.u@tmomail.net
