This is a survey company of which Chase has hired to make sure customers receive great customer service. This company is also hired to do surveys for other companies so you may get calls from them for others as well!

This appears to be Survey Sampling International, you can check them out at surveysampling.com    If you do not wish to speak with these people and you have the ability to block numbers, then you will want to block the following:

Received phone calls from this number to my cell phone, including a call 6/12/12, received at 4:34pm central time.  I  let it go to voicemail, but they did not leave a message.  Interesting, considering that my cell phone is on the Do Not Call list.

Also, from posts here, I see that if someone does answer, they identify themselves as Chase Bank.  I do not have an account with Chase, so no reason for them to call me.

This is just another scam.

I just receipt the call from this number just now  I could not understand what he said I try to ask question back but he keep said it record call and only speak to that person.
Investigate that what I heard and he said will call back tomorrow

A call from 801 823 2024 came in today, June 20th at 5:16 pm.  I dialed the number & a recorded message said that it came from SSI and that their website is...

I had previously received a call from them & I called one of their listed numbers to be placed on their do not call list.  Obviously, that did NOT work!

This time I called both numbers repeatedly on their website but all I that happened was a rapid busy signal.  

They do surveys - and are exempt per their site - but they are not truthful about removing your phone number.

I too never banked with Chase and would't because they are violating the Do Not Call list.

Why would someone from Chase survey my experience there? I have never banked with Chase.  

John, you write that they didn't ask for your account number, but they did get information from you:  From the answers that you provided, they may now know your banking habits (for instance, how often you use your ATM, etc.)

I got a call on my cell phone tonight from this number and did not pick up. After researching this number on this site I called the number 801-823-2024 from my home phone and got a recordig saying they are an independent research company "SSI" and the recording said to go to www.surveysampling.com then hung up. I have not visited the website yet...

I got this twice on my cell phone..never had a Chase account of any kind (and I have had this cell number for over 9 years)  Blocked it

I have never visited a chase branch and i got a call...so who am i rating and why are they calling me?

They call several x's a day but I never answer & I don't recall them leaving a message.  I don't have any accounts with Chase.

I have received four phone calls from this number allegedly from Ogden, UT over the past few days. They left me a voicemail once saying that they were conducting surveys. I answered the last time they called, which was about 10 minutes ago. The woman on the phone sounded rushed and spoke very fast, so I barely understood her introduction. She asked, "Are you over 18?" to which I responded, "Yea. Excuse me but what--" "Are you an adult?" "Uh, yes. But I was wondering what this survey--" "Do you live in [names three or four cities in my state, one of which I grew up in but no longer live in]?" "No. Please take me--" "Where do you reside?" "[insert my city]" I know I was stupid and should have hung up by this point but I thought it was connected to my student loans somehow? Anyway. After I said that, the woman said, "Okay that is all, goodbye." And hung up. I was taken off-guard as I regularly receive phone calls from my student loan companies updating information. This was the first time I answered a call from a strange number and I feel like an idiot.

This is a scammer using Chase's name as a cover. I am not Chase bank customer, never used any of their services. However, I receive these kinds of scam calls from various fake spoofed phone numbers. I can assume that my cell number that I do NOT give out somehow got on a phone number list that is being passed around by scammers. If you get these phone calls, very likely you are on the same type of list being passed around. Be careful!

A lot of other people are saying this is Chase bank -- I have no association with them so its either for the previous owner of this phone number or it's just some scam call claiming they're Chase.

This number calls my house at least twice a week always around 8:35 ET. Today was the first day that the number didn't just show the name Ogden, UT. This time it showed the name SURVEY SAMPLING. Therefore I chose not to answer it.

I did not pick it up, but Ireceived a call from this number.

Got a call last night after 8 p.m. from this number. I thought it was another company when I saw the number, but checked the company I know and this is not their number. If as people has said, this is supposed to be a call from Chase Bank, then why is the Bank calling after 8 p.m. and NOT leaving a message. What good is being on the Do Not Call registry if we continue to get unwanted calls?

Whoever is saying this is somewhat "ligit", that's BS. This is not ligit. They've called me three times today. I finally answered, and it wasn't CHASE. It was "Hi, we want to talk to the youngest person of the household so we can do a political survey, it will only take a few seconds.". It lasted 5 minutes, and finally she repeated the same question FIVE times over. I asked her - "why are you repeating the same question?" She says, "I'm not ma'am, please stay on the phone and finish this survey or I will lose all your answers". WHAT? You'll LOSE all my answers? I said I have to go. She wouldn't take NO for an answer. I hung up, and she called back ANOTHER three times. Each time I had to click 'ignore' and she is still calling. TOTAL HARASSMENT! They just called ANOTHER Time as I'm writing this. I yelled at her to STOP calling.

I don't even have chase and they're calling.  10 pm at night.  When I have infant twins.  NOT OKAY!!

I just received a call from this number at 10pm EST and I have two small children. I didn't even take the time to get exactly who was calling. Isn't there specific times survey companies can call someone's home.

That's all fine and good if I were a Chase customer. But I am not so why am I getting a call from this company?

They call and if I don't answer they never let it ring long enough to reach a voice mail.  If I pick up and don't say anything, it will "beep, pause, beep, pause" etc.
