No call rcvd - someone has been sending me txts from sprints website to my work cell phone.  Dont give the number out to anyone that would sell the # so I'm not sure how they got it.

Regardless, I've been getting txts from someone stating
"notice:card-starting with-446053
Issue call 877-250-8538 usbank"

Exactly like that.  A few banks have already published this # as a known phishing operation.  Just thought I'd verify it is indeed quite bogus.

I have been having the same problem. There are articles all over the net that it is a scam to try and steal your personal info when you call the number. I talked to my carrier T-mobile as well and told me only way to stop getting text was to block texts of this type. I cannot do that with blackberry so very annoying.

Hi Phonescam2,
Thanks. I'm getting two texts from them a day and I don't have there bank card. Hopefully if the FCC gets enough complaints they will put a stop to them. I have about six complaints filed so far and will file a new one every time they text me.

Hi Ohio Lady,
Don't know how they got my number. I don't give it out except to close friends and haven't added any ring tones.

Thanks. I just started getting the same messages last week. I even googled the first 800 number and it took me to some credit union in PA. Then I did a google street search...took me to a trailor park.

I work at a bank so I know how this mess goes...so just erase them and don't reply. NO BANK will EVER ask for you to call them and provide personal account information (well at least the bank I work for).

And tmobile is my carrier and they too said the same thing. Somehow we all signed up for something online and got screwed. I'm thinking free ring tones...

I got 3 text msgs all concerning a US Bank card along with the numers 446-053 and a number 8772508538...which I do not have. I just called US Bank to inform them about this issue and was told not to worry about it and that someone was trying to steal information. The 877 number tells you to enter your credit card number first. (scam)T mobile can't event trace where the messages are coming from, they have no record of them being sent to me at all. IT'S A SCAM!!!

About 15 in the last week.  Always says a different credit card is either canceled, having trouble, suspended, over limit, etc.  I never have any of the card numbers they list.  Tried to text back STOP or REMOVE but they still keep coming.  Anyone trying calling the number??  I am scared to! Want them to STOP!!

I am also receiving the same tex messages from this number, does anyone know how to stop these text messages ? the caller id is 3592, 3808,3749, 3586, 3503, 3855 and the email address is 08@tomail.net. I called U.S. Bank and it is not them, they said that it is a scam, I also called T-mobile, and they said the only way to stop it is to change your phone number. I think it has to be another way other than getting a new number because they can just send texts to the new number.
