Chances are some may have gotten a call from the number above, and then they were directed to call this 877 number.

Today, a Saturday, I received a call at 8:30am. Again, I told these people I'm not person. I had told them months ago to take this number out of their system and send it to SKIP TRACING!

So, now, I will do what I did with the other debt collectors looking for this person:

REPORT THEM TO THE ATTORNEY GENERAL OF THE STATE OF NC...........it  sure worked with the other debt collectors!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

EVERY STATE AS COLLECTION LAWS.......AND, IN THAT LAW IS HARRASSING A WRONG NUMBER PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ATTORNEY GENERALS TREAT THIS VERY SERIOUSLY AS THIS CAN CAUSE A DEBT COLLECTION COMPANY LOSE THEIR LICENSE TO EVEN COLLECT!!!!!!

They keep calling asking for someone who does not live at my address, They call 1 - 2 times a day. When I told them not to call, they call more.

Got a call from 262-995-0171 (robo call with europian accent).

The said it I wasn't the person I was looking to call this number,

LMAO!!! Yea, the name of the person wasn't in our switchboard.

I've been getting calls from these bottom feeders as well (started a few days ago - 07/10/2013). The first several times these a**holes didn't leave any VM message, this last time (today: 07/12) they did ...

That's it, basically repeated itself!!! The call this time came from a SPOOFED number in Scaramento, CA! - 916-476-2739.  That goes to a VOIP phone!!! The AC is in a familiar area to me and I know of no CA in this area ... that uses VOIP especially!!!

1. My name is NOT Louise (I'm a man, NOT a woman)
2. The nature of the message left on VM is suspect (not coming across as professional, and repeats)
3. Called wrong number (I have had the number for a number of years and, until now, have not received any bogus debt collection calls on it ... until now)
4. These bottom feeding junk collectors are well known for using spoofed numbers and DO have a good many complaints against them ... including trying to collect on debts already paid, debts where the SOL has already long expired and even making up debts!

I have no unpaid bills, don't owe any body, no debts, credit rating is also healthy! These thuggish punks all need  to go down, hard and ASAP!!!

They call me multiple times a day leaving an automated voicemail asking for me by my maiden name. I'm getting a different number from all over the country every time they call. It's infuriating. I'm not calling them back because they seem scammy as h***.

This telephone number left 11 of 17 voice messages on a children's day care line for an employee.  When I called to ask them to discontinue the automated calls, a rude man answered the phone and asked for the employee.  I informed him that she was in her classroom teaching and could not answer the phone.  He asked me, "then why did you call instead of her?".  I calmly tried to explain to him that the calls were tying up my voice mail.  He became even more ignorant.  I told him I simply wanted the voice mails to stop.  He got worse.  I finally shouted, "she will never return your calls, because I won't give her the messages." I then hung up.  I called back and got a nice lady who asked for the employee again.  I explained that I was calling to stop the automated calls.  She informed me that the man had already discontinued them and they would not bother me again.  I guess we will see.

Received 2 calls from 201-450-9406 in the 11am hour yesterday almost EXACTLY 45 minutes apart to the second....
Just received a 3rd call from that same number about 30 min ago...  This time the Robo-Dialer left a message to call them back at 877-251-3771...

PLEASE BEWARE!  My Business just got this call on its machine and from the posts I have read here, this sounds like a SCAM.  I am a former debt collector, and know the laws thereof, and based on what others are reporting I would be VERY cautious.  I mean, asking for your Social, and/or collecting on debts that you don't owe...especially demanding over the phone payments right then. Come on!  The law gives you time to verify the debt and they have the burden of proof to verfiy your creditor's documentation at your request, if you tell them you don't owe anything, or it's not your debt.
 Certain things are public record and if you ever defaulted and it was reported, someone could easily look that up and try to scam some more money out of you. For those who don't owe, or are getting the recording asking if you are so and so, (and you're not), which is what happened on my business line, they are probably somehow tying your number to someone else's old listing, rather than really looking for anyone in particular, other than someone vunerable enough to give them all of their personal details.  Please proceed with caution and DON'T give out any info, other than a fax or address to send their proof of the debt you supposedly owe them.  By the way, check the statutes of limitations for your state, in mine, they are up after 7 years and unless you re-open the debt, they cannot collect on it any longer, but I honestly don't think this is even legitimate in the first place, and that you're dealing with scammers rather than debt collectors here.

Since Monday of this week I have received repeated calls, an average of 3-5 each day, from a variety of phone numbers in locations across the US.  When I answer it is the same automated message asking for Pauline Witty (no idea who this person might be) and asking me to call 877-251-3771 if I am not this person.  Calls have come from the following locations, often several calls from each location:

So I gather this is all bull. I have been receiving coorespondence for a debt that was paid already.

Called about a debt from 7 or 8 years ago.

this company says that I owe money on a gas bill from 2002. First of all I have told them and told them time and again that I wasnt even living in the residence that they are claiming and I was married at the time and that There is no such person in my family with the co app name.  I also had to go file a fraud report and they were suppose to senda packet to fill out. I explained to a person I believe his name was Jose and told him that my daughter isnt medically allowed to be in certain temps as it could kill her and his response was this is more important than ur daughter.  A week and a half later no packet and no gas.

Received call around 9am this morning from 214-427-0031... who call every day from a different bogus/spoofed number.

Just got a call where they left this number (877-251-3771) as a call-back number in their voice mail message.  If these jerks are bottom feeders trying to collect past due debts from years ago for AT&T, I've got news for them, I've not had long distance on our home telephone (land line) for at least 12 or more years.  When we did have long distance, it was AT&T; however, all past due bills were paid 12 or more years ago when I cancelled long distance and got cell phones for long distance.  I never answer unknown numbers (this time it came in from 303-647-4213 which is a new number they have used - they use hundreds of different numbers and their voice mail message is the same message, mostly using some broad with a thick British accent - today it was a male voice - I guess they think some people are stupid enough to actually pay them for either already paid debts, debt that's beyond the statute of limitations, or debts that belong to someone else).  I'M SO SICK OF THESE SCAMMERS AND BOTTOM FEEDERS - THEY CAN ALL KISS MY BEHIND - I WON'T PAY THEM ONE THIN DIME FOR ANYTHING, NOT EVEN IF IT IS A DEBT I OWE - I WILL ONLY DEAL WITH THE ACTUAL COMPANIES/BUSINESSES THAT WE OWE MONEY TO.

I have been receiving phones from this number fro weeks and i called back to explain that the person they were calling for does not have this number and that i had no idea who they were, the man who answered the phone said ok and hung up.  I called back to ask if he was going to take my number off their calling list and he was rude and said " I said ok and what does ok mean."  I don't appreciate the attitude or unprofessional ism.  this man obviously dosen't stand by their honor pledge.

I got a call from this number - they were calling my work phone, asking for someone named "Kelly", so for a few minutes, my name was Kelly.  I asked who was calling me, and the woman on the line said her name was Jennifer, and immediately asked for the last 4 digits of my SSN.  I asked for the name of the company, which she refused to give until I identified myself.  I said I was "Kelly", but Jennifer said that until I gave my SSN last 4, she wouldn't give me anymore information - yeah, that sounds real reputable.  Then she hung up on me.  But it was a rainy Monday, and I wasn't done having fun.  I called them back, and got a different person named Crystal.  She said she was calling for Source Receivable Transfer, and that "I" owed $209 to H&R Block for some IRS issue back in 2010.  I told her I wanted documented proof.  She said that H&R Block sent me document back in 2010, and I should already have it.  I told her that I'm sure H&R sent that company some kind of documentation in order for them to open a case against me, and they would have to provide me with their documentation before anything else was done.  I got hung up on again!!!!  I guess they didn't want Kelly's money badly enough.

These calls are form Source Receivables Management.  They called my company looking for an ex-employee.  I told the woman who answered the phone number they were calling was a wrong number and the woman snapped at me that she would remove the number and rudely hung up on me.  when she answered the phone I could not hear what she said the company name was and asked her to repeat herself and she stated "I told you already that this is  Source Receivables Management!"  I told this nasty woman that she was mumbling and I couldn't hear her properly.  I then called the comany back to compain about unprofessionals behavior and told her supervisor that she needs to be retrained.

Ok  Here's what you do to get rid of these people. Notify the Federal Trade Commission, Washington, D.C. Lodge a complaint online or write a letter..  I would call 1st & tell them about Source. Then notify the Attorney General of North Carolina, notify your State Attorney General,  notify their local police dept and let them know what is going on. Notify their phone carrier. Get the names of the Principals of Source so you can sue them, not the company. Contact your attorney. Do it.  Put them out of business.  This is the only way to get rid   of parasites. What they are doing is illegal.  They think its funny?  We'll see!

For several months  we've been getting robo calls for Ronnie Thompson.  Push 1 if you are, 2 if you are not.  Or call 877 251 3771.  I tried calling that number once and got nothing.

THIS IS VERY ANNOYING.  SUPPOSEDLY WE ARE ON THE DO NOT CALL LIST.

It is probably not a hospital, it appears to be Source RM, a collection agency.  If they say they are a hospital, and the caller ID says they are a hospital, they are violating the FDCPA and Truth in Caller ID Act.

For the past month by office phone gets calls from this number 877-251-3771.  I've called back to let them know this number was a hospital.  It still continues and the person on the other end gets very nasty with you....
