Got the number off my credit card statement where I was billed for $9.20 for "statioary". Never bought any. Wouldnt buy any. Disputing it right now. Have been hit by several companies for small charges of 4-9 dollars. Scam. Report and hope they get them.

This is a debt collector collecting on credit cards. The name of the company is SWCC. They are rude and demanding.

Said they were looking for someone with my last name. I hung up. They didn't call again, yet.

I will not answer calls from an area code I do not know. I tried to call back and get nothing but noise!

They just called again. This time it was "Dave" instead of "Timothy". I pressed 1 to talk to a representative. I didn't have to wait at all, I was instantly put on the line with a woman. I asked why they kept calling. They were looking for someone named Maria. I told them That I didn't know Maria and that I only have had this phone for a couple weeks. They said that they removed my number and they wouldn't call again. This is good. She was pretty polite and I'm not so annoyed anymore.

I just called the and was transferred to a person named Mary who has assured me she will be taking my number off their call list..I am giving them a couple of days..My next step is reporting to Texas State Attorney..

Called again, left message, only got phone number, not calling back, fraud

I called Credit One bank, they said if you go over the limit that is why this company called, i have to say they are the rudest company i encountered, they are unethical and a joke for a company.

I got billed from this company called "Office Development" on my Visa card and the number listed is 877-257-8146.  My Visa card has stopped payment on this transaction, but the company will not answer the phone or return calls to discuss the charge.

I also got billed from this company called Office Development on my visa check card. Their phone number is 1 877 257 8146 and it's supposedly based in Illinois.  I had to file a claim to get my money back and hopefully I'll be able to get it.  It was only $9.15 but I'm sure they will take more if not reported so I had to close out my account and get a new check.card. I wish I knew how they got my information to begin with. If you have a pending debit on your bank account with this company name, call your bank immediately!!!

Nobody cares about your moral outrage over something you just saw on the internet. Shame on you for coming here with feelings, toughen up pussy. But any who, yeah the calls are getting a bit neurotic. I actually thought It was a past employee putting me as a reference on an app. Do to time and the fact that I'm generally out all day on Monday I've never returned the call. Great to know that its some new do***e bag calling me again just like last time.

Someone called our home number and asked for my husband. My daughter said he sounded foreign. She asked if she could take a message and he replied, "Oh, there is no message. Goodbye!"

Call from them telling me I owed on a debt already paid..i mentioned their court case and the lady hung up on me..go figure

Repeat of the Office Development Visa charge scam for me.  Reputed on-line order of office supplies.  I had the bank remove the charge and I canceled the card.

Wow!  This must be a big scam!  My Bank of America MasterCard was also charged $9.15 from a company called "Office Development" supposedly based in IL with this phone number.  I called up the phone number and it went immediately into an unmarked voicemail.  I've called my bank to notify them of this scam.  I do not know how they got my credit card number...but they never called me.

They called and left a message saying that this was not a solicitation and that i was to call them back.I called them back ,got an automated message saying they would return my call.I haven't heard back from them yet.I don't owe any body any money so i have no idea who they are.

My credit card was suddenly shut off one day. When I called the bank they said that they shut it off because of a $9 charge to the account that was suspicious. They told me that scammers will submit a small amount to see if it will go through, if it does then they submit more until your account is empty.
This name; Office Deveolment and number; (877-257-8146) was on the credit card charge on my account. I called them several times and got an answering machine or service so I left a message that the bank was involved and was looking for them. on my next call the phone was discoonected. I called verizon to check the number and they found no info about this number. This makes me think it is a hacking job of the 1st rate. I did a google search and found this website.
I use PayPal or Google Pay to make payment for stuff I buy on the internet so my credit card number and personal info is not used. I think the banks need to step up and work out a better system of money and info transfer so that these people will be stopped or caught and prosecuted.

Aunt died a few months back. My mother getting this calls. She is very ill an was not the executor. They should know who to contact as they were the ones to cancel the service. Thanks for the tip on who it is. Will call them later to tell them they are out of luck.

Two calls left on voice mail: 1)2007, 1003 hrs. (MST) 2)2007, 1820 hrs. (MST) I don't know "Ken Hughes," nor do I call back people who won't tell me the nature of their call, no matter how important they claim it is.

This numbers calls the office and hangs up.

As far as I can remember, I never received a call from them, but a charge for $9.25 mysteriously appeared on my credit card statement from "OFFICE DEVELOPMENT, 877-257-8146."  I am not even going to call them back after hearing about the repeated calls that you all have been receiving.  Thanks for the help.  Now I have to deal with disputing the charge with my bank.  Fun!

Parents were charge the $9.15 on bank statement as a debit card transaction.  Also stated from "OFFICE DEVELOPMENT". We did not receive any phone calls. Just bank statement showing the transaction. Bank gave us the phone number and when I called, it has been DISCONNECTED.  Hopefully, legal authorities have caught up with them! Hang em high please! DO NOT PREY ON THE ELDERLY.

I have been scammed by "OFFICE DEVELOPMENT 877-257-8146" located in Illinois too. On 8/8/08, there was a $9.15 unauthorized charge on my credit card that I never use! I had the charge removed and canceled the card. These guys need to be arrested. It looks like many people have been complaining for months. It worries me a lot how they were even able to get everyone's credit card numbers and info.
