This was an SMS / text message from tm@tmomail.net stating
I had CU (credit unions) issues & was instructed to call this number. OBVIOUSLY a phishing attempt!

I'm receiving one of this sort of text message each day on two different t-mobile accounts.
Sender: 3886
Date: 11/17/2009 3:40:06 PM
Message content: tm@tmomail.net / / Notice: C. U - Issue.Call 877-261-7310
I notice they've stopped using the "Co-Op-Service" name. Someone posted at this site a report for another number: "Contact your banks fraud department- abuse@cscu.org for Co-Op services credit union. They have had the Federal Trade Commission shutting these guys down on a daily basis."
I wonder how they keep getting issued new phone numbers.

Experiencing the same thing. I do not belong to any credit unions.

I had the same issue. I get the texts about once a week from short code numbers (the latest came from #: 3516) and then the message states something like
tm@tmomail.net / / Notice: C. U - Issue.Call 877-261-7310
I googled this number and found this site. I have yet to call this number to see who answers, but I'm not stupid enough to fall for this s***. I've called tmobile but was directed to an outsourced agent who didn't understand my questions or concerns and kept reading from her script, which annoyed me. So I ended the call.
