AltCharge debited my account in the amount of $84.80 on 9/4/12, on behalf of a merchant that neither delivered the product nor responded to phone or email contact attempts by myself or AltCharge.

Approximately three weeks ago, AltCharge advised me by phone that they would process a refund to me, and to call back in a week to check on the status. Since that time, I have called more than 40 times, but have been unable to get through to a CSR.

After varying times on hold, I eventually get to "First in Line," and then hear a recording that the person at that the "person at extension 1101 is unavailable." Personally, I think they're just blackholing my phone number when I call, and that they have no intention of processing the refund.

AltCharge is the processor of last resort for scumbag merchants that no reputable processor will deal with. If the merchant doesn't deliver, AltCharge will do NOTHING to help you get your money back.

Do yourself a favor: If a merchant wants you to pay them through AltCharge, RUN as fast as you can.

You sir are an a**. So yes blame all of us for trusting a "company" that we all thought was legit and blame us for spending our hard earned money. You'll get no where in life and I am positive that you have not successfully gone on any trip. I am sure you are working for them as well.

My fiancee and I have been scammed out of 500. Almost a year ago. I just spoke today with someone from Celebrity about getting my money back and she said they have no record of me even purchasing even after we overnighted money orders to activate and everything. I am assuming by these posts that we will never see this money again.

We overnighted money orders for activation fees, followed everything our representatives LISA ex.601 and KENNEDY ex.372 told us to do.We infact had a horrible (recorded) phone conversation with Kennedy who not only spoke down to me, cursed at me, belittled my job, but actually made me cry and told me I wasn't a priority with the company. The phone was on speaker and my Fiancee heard everything got on the phone with him and Kennedy proceeded to talk to my fiancee the same way. He called him a girl, said he didn't wear the pants in the relationship, and went on and on. We were given the run around all during June and July. After the WORST customer service experience in our lives we called back immediately and  were told by the "PRESIDENT" MIKE & his assistant TISH that our trip would be taken care of and that our plane tickets would be overnighted and our itinerary would be emailed and they were sorry because one of their employees dropped the ball. That NEVER happened. Then we were then told that we would receive a refund by Dec. 2011 and that never happened.

But now we are getting "help" from celebrity or eagleschoice.net....
Help what do we do.

Let me go back to my original complaint.

As you know, the TCPA has rules about junk faxes.  I have not done business with this company and had no business relationship with me.

The sent me a fax, I called to get more information and got the sarcastic person who said the only way to stop junk faxes was to disconnect the fax machine.  This person also warned me about the "real owners of the company" and said they would come after me if I complained.  I understand that is all merely bluff on their part, but still constitutes a valid threat under the law.  Unfortunately, FL is a two party state so I can not use my recording of the conversation.    Forger the sarcasm and threat, they violated the TCPA. That is not arguable.

You talk about them being legitimate.  Most legitimate companies comply with the requirements of the TCPA.   When called due to using a marketing firm that did not do due dilligence, and I have had that happen, they will appogize profusely and make sure my fax number is removed.

Also understand that you may be referring to a different travel company.  Their name is close to, but not exactly the same as, another travel company.

It would be interesting if the person who complained that they paid for and did not receive a vocuher would trace down the organization's address by using the routing infromation when the check was cashed.  Bank accounts for business require a service address.

I am truly interested in everyone's comments. I agree with the law enforcement officer's comment. Is there one single person who has complained herein that did not authorize a transaction and receive a product?? Not one person stated they tried to receive a vacation and did not get one. I hear complaints but??? I say this because I have booked a number of groups through this agency and have had NO problems. And I followed the exact process everyone seems to be complaining about. Sounds to me like sour grapes because either you did not listen to the company reps, did not read what you were sent or did not read what you signed before you did it! Sorry, I just get sick of people who complain about things that were totally within their control!  I know they spelled it out to me in a voice recorded verification, sent me an email that stated what I bought and required for me to sign an agreement and send it in! And here, you guys state you did all of this but it was THEIR fault!!?? Man, the ignorance of the public never ceases to amaze me!! Yeah, shame on THEM!!

Each time we get a fax from them we should fax back to the 855-576-0399 number (if its toll free) and jam the lines.
Some one out there let us know if this plan will work.

Good Afternoon...

I got a fax similar to yours.... it was addressed as "Your Paradise Awaits"... Their number is 1-855-576-0399!

They told me there company's name is "American Travel"...  But at the top of the Fax, it's states; sent by; Dream Travel. (They can put any name as the caller on a fax.).

The agent I spoke to was Charles Davison.  He Stated the company is in Texas... He went out of his way to see that I did a trip before going back to school on Sept. 26th, 2011.  (He stated he is a student as well as myself).  He had a Texas accent.

He booked me and as many people in my party for Nassau at the Paradise Island Resort and Hotel, all-inclusive vacation. $300.00 per couple.

He gave me 2 free additional trips w/ air-fare included for Dec. (My next time off of school).  One Hawaii 8 days 7 nights... the accommodations Sunset Condo on the beach in Maui.

He stated; I could extend the trip as long as I wanted, to as many Islands w / inter airfair comp. by them...the cost is $315.00 for any additional weeks beyond the free 1st week, he gave me for free.

So he gave me Sunnyside condo 5 star resort in Kona for another 8 days and 7 nights and a third week in Kawii at Blue View (Beach front) Resort condos. (sorry about Hawaiian spelling if it's wrong.).

The 2nd complimentry trip; Las Vegas Nv. accommodations at New York/ New York,or the Mirage etc. if, I purchased the package for $300.00 to Nassau.  Travel to be completed by Sept. 25th, 2011 4/ 3 days in Nassau.

I spent a long time on the phone with these people.  Some were rude... and when I asked the receptionist for the name of the company, (because I forgot to write it down)... she hung up on me.  I called back and asked for Charles... he stated the name is American Travel!  Hummm!  I found that Charles lost his Texas accent, sounded older this time... and African!  Thus, until he realized who he was speaking to and changed to an Texas accent sounding just like Charles Davison again.  I Thanked him and started my investigation for legitamacy & back ground on the company...

I check with my bank for fraud on this company and googled for satisfied customers who have completed their trips!  And instead, I found all of you unhappy customers with some great information on the company...  Here is my contributing advice!

I called the FBI in Texas phone # 1-972-559-5000.

If there is enough people who call with the same complaint... that will prove the company is a threat to  the public at large...The FBI and the AG will get involved, track the activity of the chain of command within the company to find the core source and do a sweep of arrest and stop them!

The Texas Attorney General's office 1-512-463-2100

Texas Federal Trades Commission 1877-382-4357

Texas Federal Communication FCC 1888-225-5322

One of the FBI agents told me to call and report the company to the Mounted Canadian Police in Canada if anyone thinks the Nigerians are working again, through Canada & the US to Scam Americans.

There has been a big investigation through Date-Line CBS and ABC nightline...  about outside countries forming bogus companies in 3 countries and 2-US states so it's untrackable.  Gaining employees in these countries and 2-US states, to collect money from American's bank accounts. etc. for various Non-legitament reasons that sound legit.  So be careful and go with your intuition and gut feelings about any "one scam"... "here or their"... for "this or that"!

Then as an insult to injury, these other countries made a U-tube video making fun of Americans for giving away their money for free to professional con-artist. If anyone remember's these videos... the outside country's people, made a song about ripping off Americans and broadcasted the song that made the top of their charts in their country...etc.!

On a last note; I have visited Nassau approx. two years ago, and found they had short walls made for people to sit, plug in their computer's for free-internet hookup...  It matched the story on Date line's reports and pictures of how these outside countries support the corruption towards the US, with no way to stop them...

Love and Light to all!

This a complete SCAM....I purchased a Las Vegas trip through Rudy...Then after 2wks of not receiving the package through the mail..I called several times to verify my address, which I was told the package was already mailed to me. Then after 3 and half weeks was told they had the wrong address...Then waited another week ..called back and was told it was just mailed and gave me a fake USPS tracking number 7010278000020442256..Spoke with Regan and was told after 4 wks and nothing in the mail that they hadnt taken the money out of my acct when clearly I was looking at the drafted check..That was another lie...I have called the different numbers 8778181575 and 8008512004 and 8772391695 and 8779566901 hundreds of times ..and got nothing but rude~run~arounds.

Any place asking for your bank account only is a SCAM!  Don't do it!  They create a sense of urgency and you end up making a decision without thinking it out.  You could call the same number tomorrow and get the same deal by saying you just received a fax!

TOTAL SCAM!!!

Thank you all for saving me $660!  I can't believe I had fallen for it!  They are truly a scam and VERY convincing.  Just remember that they will take money for the trip and give you vouchers which will cost MORE MONEY to use and you will PAY AGAIN for the hotel which you already thought was included.  What you need to ask yourself, is if the money you pay is worth it to get some vouchers (buy 1 get 1 airfare type of vouchers).  These vouchers also require a separate activation fee, etc.

I also spoke with this company and purchased a vacation for $300 for 4days 3nights in Cabo San Lucas. I received a fax at my place of employment that I will not say the name of but I will however say that it is a Police Department. I spoke with a very polite man named Gene who answered all my questions. I was never told that this trip would only be $300 gene also included that there would be a $69 booking fee per person and also once we arrive at the resort we are responsible to pay $175 per person for taxes. I do not see what is to good to be true about this trip its only 4days and 3nights you can go on travelocity expedia or orbitz and find trips for this same amt... I also see everyone saying its a scam but i see nothing from anyone saying anything other than they took money from you well u authorized them to take money out of your acct what did you think they were going to do.... I need to see at least one comment saying i tried to book my trip and they never booked it or i went to the airlines and was unable to get on because there was no flight booked or even a i went to the resort and was unable to stay because i had no real reservations... If I end up being wrong about this company so be it but none of you on here have a valid reason for calling this company a scam and to the few who say they do not show up on the BBB you may want to do your research a little better because they are on there... And one other thing like I said before I work for a police department what kind of scamers would send a fax to a police department and speak to me on a recorded line unless they are just plain stupid....

I just received a fax page with too good to be true deals from this "company".  I called and inquired.  I asked if they have a website that I can do further research on the company.  I was hung up on by the representative.  So I called back, and asked the same question.  The guy told me they don't have a website.  I asked how they are able to sell these packages at such low prices.  He replied that they partner with fortune 500 companies, and the packages that they sell are overstock. WTF! No fortune 500 company is going to deal with a travel company that doesn't even have a website or information that you can review.  No brochures, pamphlets or anything!  The representative told me i could call him back if I had any more questions then gave me his extension 585, name was Joseph.  THIS IS OBVIOUSLY A SCAM PEOPLE!!!!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!! Like Big Jake said, everyone needs to be contacting the FBI on this one!
