Got the scamming call too. Calls from a "Private" number on my cell and leaves that 877 number to call them back at. Rediculous... seriously.

I'm from Little Elm, same recording..2day/night vacation, $30 dinner, and $150 free gas.  If it's too good to be true, it is.  Glad I looked this up and see others have gotten same scam recording.  I never give my cell phone # out so no idea how they got it.

I got this call as well. The voice recorded message said the same as you have posted above about winning airfare, dinner for two, and $150 worth of gas. I hung up. I thought it was strange that the company awarding the prize couldn't identify themselves. I don't remember entering a drawing either.

yea, Down here in SA town too some CBI or something of that sort called telling me I wont 2 cruise line boarding passes from Galveston to Costa-mil Mexico and 100$ free gass and everything on the cruise was Free so I was like ....

I just got a call from the same number saying I won 2 tickets for a carnival cruise, with a $100 gas card to get to Galveston. I googled the number and found this site.

So is anyone going to the reception in San Antonio?  I might go just to let them know we're on to them....

I got a missed call from this number, and then got a text minutes later that said "PLEASE CALL"
Sounds like a bad idea... Didn't check to see if they offered a free trip or anything.

Same call for the cruise and 2 boarding passes to cozumel. Too bad it isn't real if anyone want to give away money give it to me instead of these scammers lol.

Said I "won" 2 boarding passes to Carnival Cruiseline leaving for Galveston, TX to Cosamel, Mexico. Said they would pay for everything and give $100 gas card. Said I had 24 hours to call back to redeem but a year to use it. Said to call back the same number that was on the caller-id. They never said my name or listed any other information.

I had gone on a Carnival cruise before which they said they put people in for drawings for free cruises, but I was still suspicious so did some googleing and found this page. Does sound like a scam to me.

I GOT A CALL TODAY THAT SAID IT WAS MEREDITH WITH CGI AND I HAD WON A CONTEST FOR 4 DAY CARNIVAL CRUISE OUT OF GALVESTON ALONG WITH $100 GAS MONEY TO GET THERE. IT MAKES ME WONDER IF THE # WAS NOT GIVEN OUT BY MY TRAVEL AGENT BECAUSE I AM TAKING A CRUISE THIS WEEKEND ON CARNIVAL OUT OF GALVESTON. I CAN'T HELP BUT THINK THIS IS NOT A COINCEDENCE.

I received a message on my cell phone today saying I had won 2 complimentary promotional boarding passes aboard the Carnival Cruise Lines departing Galveston Texas for a 5 day cruise to Cozumel including a $100 gas card.  The message asked that I call 1-877-263-1800 within 24 hours to claim my prize.  It also said I would have an entire year to use the passes.

Sounds like a scam to me.

just received a private call from "cti" stating the same, that I was drawn to win 2 carnival tickets plus $100 gas card to get me to Galveston. The call back number was 877.263.1800. They didnt leave a name nor mentioned my own name in the voice message. They say I signed up for this last year, I dont recall ever doing that. Im sure this is a scam....

I received a voice mail to my cell phone today (without an actual call, wierd but no number in my history and no ring) from Cat' at CGI claiming I won a Carnival cruise to Cozumel out of Galveston with $100 gas card...     I smell scam...   Mainly because my wife and I NEVER signup for those things in the malls or at shows, because we know exactly what they are.

I read the ripoff report listed earlier, but that was a crap story too IMHO w/ someone more interested in playing the race card instead of the actual fact that they were being ripped off...

I just received the phone call from CGI as well about the Cruise to Cozumel & a $100 gas card.  Only 24hrs to respond can use it anytime within a year. Maspooot! "Aloha Cabrona!"

got the same call, i thought it was for a cruise i entered being that my girlfriend and i had just been on a cruise w. carnival in feb. called # back it gave me the address of where to be and it said no kids, bring d.l. and c.c. for id purposes. started sounding fishy so ive been investigating cgi. no where to be found on internet. then typed the # in and found this!! what a coincidence. im thinkin of bringing an expired credit card or something and just messing with them

I just got the call.  I saw this unfamiliar number come on my caller id so i didnt answer.  shortly after not picking up, 3 texts come through about winning the cruise that is mentioned above.

i just recieved it and they told me my name was picked from the drawing and i won a 7 day cruise and $150 in gas

got this same call, nice sounding lady, free Carnival Cruise to Cozumel, 100 bucks in gas to get to Galveston.  Just use their travel agency in the future.
