Called my office but when I answered, only heard click and then dial tone. This happens very often when 800 numbers call my work phone.

Nice kid called me 'splaining that Qwest provides them a list of former customers that they get a kickback for re-contracting. Quoted me an 'okay' price to try them again ($200 a month total for 3 lines and 12mbps DSL), but honestly, it would have to be nearly free for me to risk it again... they were so unreliable before and so worthlessly non-responsive: v-mail menu hell, endless on-holds, helpless humans (if I ever did get to one).
And philosophically, I just don't want to support spammers by buying anything from them. Waste their time a little? Sure, why not - they don't hesitate to waste mine all they want.

They called me to trying to get me to switch my business to Qwest. I looked them up online (thats when I found this tread). It is actually Business Integrated Services. I found them on Qwests website, so they must actually be a qwest partner. Bob just so you are aware the no call list does not apply to businesses - it is only for personal home and wireless numbers... so don't waste your time filing complaints. see this website for info about the national no call list - but you can ask them to remove you from their list and then they cant call you any more. http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/consumerfacts/tcpa.html

877-263-8106, i called back. salesman said the company was "business management service" working as a "partner with qwest". i told him i was on the national do not call registry and i have now reported the name and number to the donotcall.gov site. i will also file a complaint with the FTC. Stay on these calls, make a quick return call if you can (i have voip which lists incoming calls, even if not completed) and file complaints.

All these 877 numbers are getting out of control, no matter who they are
(877-408-3390, 877-307-8442, etc.) They start at 7:30 a.m. & have stopped at 9:00 p.m. I finally started screaming. "I told you to stop, now, I'm calling the Attorney General". I feel bad yelling at these kids trying to do a job and don't understand what they are doing to us.

Asked me to speak with the person in charge of our telephone service...Naturally I asked what it is regarding...he turned into a smart alec by saying "your telephone service". I told him we do not take sales calls so I really needed to know what it was regarding. He hung up.
Anyone else?
