SB Investigations is a company called Skipbusters. They are part of a larger company called American Recovery Service and Patrick K Willis Company. Patrick K Willis bought Eddie Murphys mansion in El Dorado Hills, Ca. The CEO is Peter Willingham The main managers for Skipbusters are David Copeland, Joey Yo http://www.facebook.com/joey.yo and Steven Shelk his wife Sara Harrigan works for the other side American Recovery Service.

The numbers they leave you are to what is called a spoof, trap or blind line the extention is usually the last 4 didgets of your internal account 6 didget number. These services are provided by companies such as http://www.bellescamp.com/. When you call in to these blind line's, you r called id block is defeated even if you *67 the before you call. Other things they can do with these blind numbers are input exactly what they want to show up on your called id. If they have your mothers phone number they can use that to make you pick up. None of this is illegal. They can also put your own number into the caller id to get into your voicemail. That is illegal, but they do it anyway and get away with it.

Everyone at Skipbusters uses an alias, to protect their identity and they hide behind the blind line to escape the threat of any type of legal action. The average billing for a repo to one of their clients is arround 350 to 400 for the investigation and 350 to 400 for the repo. The investigator makes about 75 dollars commission per car, of which the contracted repo driver and his company usually makes only about 275 to 300 dollars per car.

Please please, please do not be afraid of SB investigations, they will use every tactic in the book to scare you, your friends and family to get to your car. To them you are not human and they do not care about what problems you have, you are just a number. Call the lein holder on your vehicle and negotiate you may find that they are more amicable to your plight than SB investigations.

these people call me even on sunday i am an old lady and this acc is seven yr.s old i over payed them and now i live on ssi don.t get a goverment bail out just wont them too leave me alone i refuse too give them anymore money it also was a charge off .

These people are calling to collect on accounts that are bank charge-offs.  The delinquent accounts are already zeroed out when these people buy the accounts to collect for themselves.

THESE PEOPLE CALL EVERYDAY ON PAST DUE ACC THAT DON'T BELONG TO ME. THEIR MESSAGE SAYS ARS WHICH SOUNDS LIKE IRS. SOMEONE SHOULD STOP THIS HARRASMENT

These people call 2 or 3 times a day and don't leave a message.  Today when they called, I tried to give them the new phone number of the person they are trying to reach and Ms. Jones hung up on me!  I then called them back and told them to stop harrassing or I would bring litigation against them.  Don't know if it will help. But I will hire a lawyer if it doesn't stop!

These people rock---they offered me a settlement at 50%.

At first it was called on my home phone and now it's on my cell phone which is privet number. This need to be stop!

this number 1-877-267-3265 keeps calling my husbands CELL PHONE. They call off and on ever so often but the stange thing is all the posts listed here is about credit card debt. They are a prescription line. It is automated and they list a kinds of prescription drugs it is so weird it is OxyCotins first the top pill drug people get arrested for selling and abusing. They list all kinds of controled substances. I am just wondering if this a police sting operation. Tring to catch people to get drugs over phone like that.

this number alls and a guy which sounds like a phony voice, like the kind a kidnapper or someone uses to disguise their voices, well he stated that his name is john lord and he trying to collect a debt which I already declared that on bankruptcy 6 years ago. And they calling me several times a day and bothering me at work and even calling some of my friends...

This number is from a company that buys written off debt from credit card companies.  They pay pennies on the dollar and try to collect the total amount. Uninformed people pay it without realizing that the state statute of limitations has run out on the right to collect.  They call these companies junk debt collectors.  Find out their mailing address, go to the internet and get a copy of a letter asking the company to verify the debt and send the documents to you to a P O Box.  Send certified. The letter also asks them to stop calling.  It also states that if they try to sue you without first verifying the debt and the statute of limitations to collect, then you will tell the judge they refused to verify the debt and harassed you.  Record all call times and record any rude people.  These crooks should be shut down because if there is a debt, by law they have to ID this, and by law, this debt is written of the books of the original lender and the lender took the tax benefit for a bad debt.  Credit card companies charge high interest rates to off set the bad debt they know they will write off.  Be aware of you rights, state by state.  If you document rudemess, you can sue them big time. From the mouth of an attorney to you.

Received a call this morning from this number from a guy claiming to be named Tony Aguire.  The phone was then handed over to someone else named Randy Hunter who started the conversation with high pressure tactics.  I had settled the account over a year age.  He would not listen, raised his voice and I eventually had to hang up.  The rest of the day was spent investigating this matter.

I just got a call but didn't answer I have memorized the telemarketers numbers so I just ignore them but they do get annoying and I don't try to argue with the dump costumer service ppl...

Received numerous calls from them. I have answered and no one responds. I called the number back and was given automated instructions to enter an extension number, and if I didn't know it, to hold for next available operator, yet no one answers and my call is disconnected.
If I do not answer and  let it go to voice mail, they do not leave a message.

I have received several calls from this number 877-267-3265.  Same old Press one if you are (name) and press two if you are not.  They called my office phone number!  I answered the call, pressed one and they claimed to be America Recovery Solution and stated they were calling about a credit card of course I have never had the card they claimed to be collecting on.  I told the representative "I have given all of the information regarding accounts to my attorney".  Her next statement was "Well what is your attorney planning to do?"  To which I replied "I cannot find any reason why that is any of your business".  Click - I hung up.  I have now registered all of our office lines on the do not call registry and hopefully that will bring these calls to a halt.

Call asking for someone else, or leave a nasty voice mail threatening to sue if they don't receive a return call.

Did you ever get the attorney to send you a letter.  Three people have called me from this number this week on an account that was identity fraud and not supposed to be opened.  Thanks!

I GOT AN PHONE CALL FRON THIS NUMBER 800-267-3265 AND WHEN I ANSWER I GOT AN LIVE PERSON AND THEY ARE AN DEBT PERSON TRYING TO GET MONEY FROM AN CREDIT CARD THAT THEY SAID I HADE BACK IN 2005 AND IT WAS CHARGE OFF BUT I NEVER GOT AN PHONE CALL ABOUT THIS BEFORE AND NOW SOMEONE IS CALLING ME ON THIS MATTER.THEY DID SAY THEY ARE FROM AN COMPAMY NAME ARS AND IT IS SOMEONE TRYING TO GET THE MONEY FROM YOU RIGHT KNOW AND I TOLD THEM I NEED MORE INFORMATION FROM THEM. I DONT KNOW HOW FAR THIS WILL GO BUT I WILL SEE ABOUT THIS MATTER WHEN I GET THE INFORMATION ON THIS I AM ALSO OING TO GET AN LAWYER TO SEND THEM AN LETTER ON THIS MATTER ONCE I GET THE INFORMATION ON THIS MATTER.

I think they say, ARS, not "IRS"  but that is probably calculated to sound a lot like "IRS."

I have received calls from this number (877-267-3265) 3 days in a row, saying that they are the IRS. I never answer calls from 800 #s but they are going too far. I am in the San Francisco Bay area and I will contact my local radio and TV stations to let them know about it. They need to be stopped!

Pretty sure this is a scam -- got a call from them.  Have absolutely no bad debt.  If it is a debt they are required, by law, to tell you that this is a matter relating to a debt.

I kept getting calls from this number as well.  I finally answered when it was a live person and he said was from America's Recovery Solutions (ARS) and claimed someone listed my number as a contact.  He said he wouldn't remove my number until they found who they were looking for.  I asked to speak with a manager who said he'd remove my number from the list.  Time will tell.

Their website is americasrecovery.com.  It lists direct contact info for the VP and other employees.  Haven't called so I don't know if it's bogus info.

They are also tied in with "America's Lending Solutions."  That site is americaslendingsolutions.com.  No contact info listed there for some reason.

The "Do Not Call" registry doesn't work because "Debt Collection Agencies" and "Telephone Survey Companies" are exempt supposedly.

Other numbers I've received calls from for ARS are 440-934-0000 and 440-985-0000.
