This is from the American Diabetes Association (ADA).  The caller asked if she could mail a package with letters to give to family and friends so they could donate to the cause and I would need to put a stamp on the envelope.  I would then be required to collect the money and send it back to the ADA.  They called very early in the morning too.  After I spoke with them, I called the number back and it gave me the option to be removed from their mailing list.  Hopefully, I will not get any more calls (but it can take up to 30 days)

I, too, have had several 8:30 AM calls from this number.  Today a message was left.  A very *hard to understand* message from Comcast.  I *KNOW* this isn't from Comcast. Please don't take out your frustrations on the American Diabetes Association.  I feel that their name was being used.  It's probably a scam.

Another annoying call today from the above  number. I am on the national no call list but still I get them. I never answer nor do they leave a message. PLEASE LEAVE ME ALONE.

I get this call often.   I see the number belongs to Diabetes  Assn.  I receive other calls from  Diab. Assn too.   If this is legit why don't they list their name.   The other number that calls is 877 262 9431

I laugh when I read someone say I am on the do not call list.    That is the biggest joke ever.  I get about 10 to 15 calls a day.    And I am also on the do not call list.   It means nothing

For the last few days this, and a number of other 877 area call have been logged on my blocker. This site indicates they are all associated with dodgy charities. Also, Client Services, which I thought had finally given up, is calling as well. Maybe tax refund time has something to do with it. In any case, there appears to be a telemarketer blitz going on, at least in Ohio. So glad I have a blocker.

Our phone range at 8:00 this morning and I rushed to answer it since we have a family member who is ill.  When I got to the phone it stopped ringing.  The caller ID showed "800 Service and 877-267-6224".  The call work up everyone in the house.  I didn't think telemarketers were allowed to call before 9:00 a.m.  I did call the number and it is the American Diabetes Assn. and I left a message to have my name removed.

Stop the madness.  No more of these calls. On the web it says it is the American Diabetes Assn.  Caller id says Toll Free Call.

answer the phone if possible for 3 seconds.  then yell and hang up...at least this will make you feel better.

Got these calls for 5 days in a row - no one there when I answer.  Hit caller redial and it was the American Diabetes Assoc.  I called back and pressed 1 to have my number removed.  You have to listen to the whole message to get to select 1 and then enter your phone #.

My phone said "Anonymous," but I've heard this is the American Diabetes Association. If so, I WILL NOT GIVE!!

2 mornings now at about 8:30 AM --no message left

Same here, call comes at about 8:30 AM ET.   Caller ID as "Unavailable"

8:00 a.m. calls from this number on two occasions now.  Cannot be blocked with ATT call blocking service.  May be a cell.  Very annoying.  20 calls from toll free numbers in the last 4 days.

Never too early for these folks, received call at 8:01 am this morning.

Why are they calling

I too was getting 3-4 calls a day from this number.  They never left a message.  Finally, I called them in the evening and got a recording for "The American Diabetes Foundation (or Association...can't remember)."  I suppose it's probably just a fund-raising call or a survey, but the calls are so frequent and annoying I wouldn't give to them anyway!  The recording gives you the option to enter your number to opt out of their calls, but forewarns that "government regulations" give them 30 days to remove your number from their lists.
