I had to report them to the authorities because their tactics for forcing me to pay, like threatening lawsuit, is illegal.

I don't have any debt. If it's about my credit card, yes I forgot to pay but now the problem is fixed and I paid off my credit card a few days ago. I only have phone and internet bills that I forgot to pay but it's only been 3 days maximum.
I never received any written communication from CCL but only got a voicemail today at the office of the non-profit I volunteer for. How did they even get that phone number? I'm feeling worried now because I never listed that office's phone number for anything except matters that concerned the organization.
The guy who left the voicemail didn't say where he was calling from and what it was about. He sounded rude and threatening. In his message, he gave me an ID number and an extention for me to call back so I did. I left him a voicemail and gave him my personal phone number.
After that, I looked up the phone number and found this forum with people sharing their experience with being harassed by this debt collector. Now that I have given them my personal phone number, I am worried that I will constantly receive unwanted phone calls. What can I do?

got a message looking for some one that has never lived at my address called them back ext 231 very nice fellow told him he has a wrong number that "paul" never lived at my address he appoligised, never asked for my name said he'd put on the report false number.
now only time will tell if they keep calling or not.

this number has called me  few times andthey also have been emailing me i dont have the darn money and i wish they'd understand that i am not working and dont have people to help so they need to back off till i get the money

Are these guys for real? I don't trust these numbers  so checked out their website input the reference number etc that's required for a log in and lo and behold there is no account held with those details?

MY NUMBER BUT HE GOT THE WRONG PERSON. THE PERSON IN QUESTION HASN'T LIVED
AT THIS ADDRESS AND NUMBER FOR 15 YEARS. HE SHOULD INVESTIGATE HIS CLIENTS.

I received a call from this number at my home asking someone who does not live at this number to call him back.  When I called to explain that they had a wrong number, the man on the other end of the phone was so rude to me because I would not give him my name when all I wanted to tell him was that he had a wrong number.  They do not need to know my name to know they have called a wrong number especially when they have given me a reference number. If I ever get a call again from this company, I will make sure to ignore it and erase it from my voice mail - and they can go to hell!! I don't know what kind of company this is but I will make sure to tell everyone I know about the rudeness of the people working there.   Extremely poor customer service that's for sure!!

CCL has been calling me at my place of employment and has gotten my boss, whom is very upset. Losing my job will not help matters at all.

I keep getting calls from a Mr Francis ext 232. I explained my situation and told him that the person he is looking for which is my ex does not live here any longer and he told he he will keep calling until i change my number, and i have alot of business calls coming to this phone, its not easy to change it at the moment.. and I shouldn't have to change it. I asked for a supervisor to call back and they refuse, he screams and yells. What can I do???

I got a call from your service today. I tried to explain things to Kevin ext. #235 when he started screaming very rudely and hung up in my ear, Not very professional by no means. I was not rude bot this man was very rude to me . How do expect people to talk to you when your staff acts like this ?
