wouldnt want to be called and hung up on by YOU! your mad about the calls so you waste more of your time calling them back and sitting on hold, just to hang up on someone whose job is to answer calls. Logical.

yeah their system doesn't always update immidiately if you were overdue more than a dollar when your num was put in the system to call for the day (the dialer wont call for only $1 due)

If you keep hanging up they WILL keep calling because they can't even get enough info to stop calling! DUH!

Most of you sound like idiots. Do you ever research your own job? Especially if you work in any call center. Legit or not more than half the people are going to think you're FRAUD or harrassing them.. but people, the truth is your number is public and in most circumstances has been owned by someone else (hmm go firgure) and these numbers calling you work on an autodialer (which someone gave that number to call at some point, its not generated out of thin air) and is a very IMPERFECT system. TAH-DAH! No magic, no more suspicion. My humble explination won't change much, just thought I would let anyone know who's smart enough to understand. And for all the letigous people: stop sueing, that is uneccessary and makes life harder for everyone, including yourself, loser.

They violate the law by gaming your CASH deposits, in violation of Depository Regulation CC...

They game your deposits and withdrawals so that if you're close, they rack up hundreds in overdraft fees. (They're the last BIG class-action in progress over this cute trick they pulled...Chase settled the moment that a class was defined in their case and they changed their policies such that they wouldn't be doing that one again...)...

They file false 1099-C's on debts they can't even remotely claim to the IRS...

What's a little fraudulent presentations like yours to 'em...that's small potatoes to what all they do that'd land us in a Fed Pen for RICO violations if WE did it.

Maybe if you'd wait 30 seconds on the line to speak with somebody, the calls would stop.  If you don't talk to anyone, they're just going to continue.

This company call about 15 times a day and leaves no response or when I say "Hello" nobody answer. When I tried to reach the number they say that theey are unavailable at this time and call back later. I WANT THEM TO STOP CALLING ME!

It's not Wells Fargo...they are posing as collections from them, but I called the REAL Wells Fargo and they have never heard of that number.

I get 20 calls per day even though i have PAID the bill! I am paying the credit card OFF so i dont have to deal with this company anymore. They will not have a dime from me again.

They've been calling my house repeatedly.  There is never anyone there, and I have waited. So I lloked up the number.

I have a store card with Wells Fargo but it is on automatic payment, which they have screwed up numerous times.  I had it scheduled to pay out 5 days before the payment is due but if there is a holiday during the month it changes your due date and they slap you with a hefty late fee.  I now have it scheduled to pay out 2 weeks in advance and schedule six months of payments at a time.  I just went online and checked the payments that I scheduled in the end of October for Nov., Dec., Jan., Feb., March, April and May but anything after Dec didn't carry through into 2009!!!  I've had problems with them before so I keep careful records on date I set up payments and the dates that I schedule them for.  This company is so irritating.  What happened to the payments I scheduled for Jan through May??  I'm sure they'll have cockamamie excuse like the a holiday during the month moves your due date up (by more than 5 days?) when I call to complain, yet again.

A woman said shes from Wells Fargo, called on 10/16/09 claiming I didnt make a payment for October 09, I informd her I made an automatic payment thru BOA and it should on record BOA paid them 10/06/09 so she asked me to pay for the following month for 11/07/09/. Whaaat??!!

Woman called 10/17/09 and claimed  I didnt pay  for this month of October, but my BOA showed I paid 10/06/09 and my next payment is for 11/06/09. Shes making me pay ahead.

Well, I do have an account with them through a carpet company. I think I may have missed 1 payment and they have been calling me everyday for atleast 3-6times. I keep hanging up on them. I won't take their calls let alone any other calls not related. I will only deal with communication from mail/letter. They can chase me all the way but I'm from another country so they can't get through if I go back home. Ha!

Yes. I get calls from them too as well as other 866, 800 and 877 numbers. Why do they keep calling if they know we won't answer? The govt needs to implement a new policy about harrassing calls. They should only be allowed to make a total of 3 calls then if they keep calling after, we can get them back.

I get this number and another number that call and appears to be wells fargo. i never answer the phone. I have an account with them, but i just got my first bill yesterday and they are saying that i am late by 2 months. Makes no sense to me. UGH

B.S. It is harassment because they do not stop calling. I sent them the amount they asked for (they called requesting the payment 2 weeks before the date due on the statement). They use an automatic dialing device because I get the same call every dam day at the same dam time. Twice I have talked with two different employees who were very sarcastic because i told them could not send in the amount they were asking for. Now- I call them 7-10 times a day & when I finally do get a live person I hang up on them. It's their 800 number that is costing them every time I call. When they stop calling me I (might) stop calling them.

Keep getting calls atleast 4-5 times everyday from this number. I suspect it's Wells Fargo Financial and has something to do with our current retail account. I don't know what is going on as we are paying on it each month. They always ask for my husband by name and won't talk to me. I told them I'm the wife and that I handle all the bills. They say they can't and would have to have my husband authorize me which a letter was sent in for that. They didn't reply to the mail. Instead, they still keep calling each day. I asked them to stop and it doesn't work. Can I sue them?

It is NOT harassment.  They are collecting a debt.  Going through any of these supposed agencies that say they will help you get out of debt will NOT stop the collection calls - even though they make that promise.   Most times your account will have charged off (past 180 days late) with the original creditor long before you have fulfilled your obligated payments through the consolidation company.  It is best to work with directly with your creditors for solutions before it goes to third party collections!

If the payments you make through the debt consolidation agency does not re-age the account or bring it current (or the payment arrives to Wells Fargo or any other company PAST the due date) they will continue to call you.

Your best bet is to actually answer the phone and speak with the collectors (or be proactive and call them) who oftentimes have programs set up to get you OUT of debt (instead of these consolidation companies which only offer false promises)

Actually if you owe money it is not harassment.  You can speak with them in person and ask them about sending/faxing a cease and desist order, and you can request they not contact you at work - otherwise they are fully justified in collecting a debt.
