i reseaved a text sayin i won a 200 dollar gift card 4 walmart its a scam dont not give any info

Just received a text from this number to claim a $200 Walmart gift voucher.  The typos and shorthand aroused immediate suspicion.  Don't know who they are and I won't be calling them.

received message through internet provider, claiming text to win $250 gift card.

If you gave info do you think that they can steal stuff from you?

17 April 2010, I received a text from 44847 saying to call 877-276-0980 because I won a $200 gift voucher from Wal-Mart and I had the option of receiving $500 for a grocery voucher. The shipping charge was two payments of $4.45 =$9.90? The person that I spoke w/ said his name was Tony Cameloi. He provided me with two customer service numbers. 24/7 Techstick/ Super Saver Plus 877-801-4171. The next number was for Discover Enterprises/ Main Street Discounts 866-525-6608. According to Tony the company that he worked for is called Customer Rewards Department. Customer Rewards Dept. processes the orders for the companies listed above and in order to receive a refund, a customer would have to call the numbers provided. Tony's attitude was unprofessional because I asked a lot of questions. Luckily for me I used a pre-paid card and cancelled the charge before any damage was done. After doing further research, I cancelled the charge, (which I should have done the research prior to giving information, but you live and you learn).The charge that showed up was a temporary charge for $1.99 from MAGENT8665256608. The companies that they provided me a customer service number for is supposed to be two separate companies but yet they have the same exact after hours message.

I received a text from this number to claim a $200. Walmart gift card after completing some surveys on line last night.

i recieved the same i am waiting to see if i get the walmart card they say 7 days. i am hoping its true and not a scam.

I received a message on my cell phone to call this number.I call them and I have been paying every since.I never received the card and they took a $109.80  for some thing I didnt want The other number is
800-795-7998 Proctection Junction bad business.I don't know the name of the company that called. They just answer as customer reward services. They tell you you won the card and you have to pay 4.95 S&H
Once they get your number you are over charged and they rip you off. I tried very thing,I called my bank
the very same day; and they did't stop them.

mmm you sound like you must be one of them. revenge is a dish best served cold. you people are scumbags trying to scam people and i cannot allow this to happen any more. give these people nothing. not legitimate about anything.

This is a scam conducted by recently parolled whites who have converted to the muslim religion, trying to get your money.  You know like Jihad Jane???

I as well also recieved a call from this number and didnt answer it but then called back and the person just hung up on me after I asked why they had called. HMMMM?

This is a scam run by recently parolled blacks converted to muslim religion trying to get your money. GIVE THEM NOTHING......

i also recived the same msg, ...ii was somewhat catious, gave them the info..but after i runed a profiling check in google. i saw it is a scam...so am trying to get off it now, but i guess its somewhat late..however i will try to block the transaction from my bank..

No its not!! I still haven't receive my package.. THere was somebody who answered but no package came between 3 to 5 days business days
