Victor, calling for BIG for someone that is not at my home phone number about a personal matter.  I have asked for them to not call my home number and be removed from their list at least 3 times and this guy has been extremely abusive on the phone.

I only have the guys name/company and phone number because he left it on my home voice mail today.

CALLER HAS CHANGED NAME NOW TO MARK BENSON THEY CALL HERE DAILY 3-4 TIMES.  IN THE STATE OF FLORIDA COLLECTION COMPANIES AREN'T ALLOW TO CALL A PERSONS PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT.  CLAIMED THE MGRS NAME IS WILLIAM MATTHEW.  INFORM THEM THAT YOU WILL CALL CONSUMER PROTECTION AGENCY TO RPT A POTENTIAL SCAM.  THEN FILE WITH FTC TOO.  THEY NEED TO ALSO BE REPORTED TO THE BETTER BUSIN BUREAU TOO. PEOPLE NEED TO BE INFORMED ABOUT THIS SO CALLED BUSIN.  THEY ARE SCAM ARTISTS.  IF IT WAS A TRUE CALL CTR ONE WOULD HERE BACKGROUND NOISE OF OTHER PEOPLE SPEAKING.  YOU DON'T HEAR THAT.

THEY CALL ME 8 TO 10 TIMES A DAY THEY DONT INTIMIDATE ME THEY CANT WAIT TO GET OFF THE LINE BUT IT DOES NOT STOP THEM FROM CONTINUING TO CALL, CAN YOU BE ARRESTED FOR CUSSING A BILL/COLLECTOR OUT.I ONLY TOLD THEM  HOW GOOD SEX WAS WITH THERE SISTER AND MOTHER AND THE NEXT TIME THEY CALL I'LL TELL-EM HOW GOOD THERE DAD ANT A**L SEX.

They constantly call me and I have told them I can not get personal calls at work, I don't know who they are and have never heard of the coompany. They just keep calling. They change the name all the time and I have asked for the supervisers name and an address. All they will say is "Why do you need the phone number or Why do you need the address?" They are rude and now I have lost my job because of them and I don't even know who they are.

Caller by the name of "Nick" left a voice message on my business line.  He said the company name he was calling about was called BIG.  He left the number of 877-283-6730 x543.  He spoke very quickly and repeated the number twice.

Caller keeps changing his name, Ray, Jim, Johnny, and Charles. Claims to be 'conducting an investigation' and asks to speak to an employee about a personal matter. Has been insistant and abusive. I have reported him to local sherriff and asked him more than 15 times to stop calling our business.

I just received a phone call from this company asking to speak to me on the phone at my place of work.  I told our SO to take a message and as soon as I got the information I searched this phone number and this website came up.  This is the 2nd company that has tried doing this.  Do not give them any information, and let them know that you have reported the phone number to the local police department.  That should stop them from calling.  The last company that did this I had to give them my attorney's information.  My attorney has never gotten a phone call from anyone.  This should tell you it's a fraud.  From doing research on things like this companys that provide payday loans have either been selling their client's information or have employees inside the company that are helping with stealing customers information.  Either way it's a scam.  They legally have to send out postal mail if requested letting you know what you owe and for what reason.  Harrassment over the phone is also just as bad as harrassment in person, and these people need to get a life.  Hope my information that I have attained helps someone.

Too bad the gov't can't do anything about these scams. They came on my property today and taped a message to my door that reads "We need your Help... We need your Input... We need your opinion.. Get $$$ for what you think (877) 283-2640 For pre-recorded details enter message code 4000. Call now!" Why can't we as Americans protect ourselves and our neighbors from these scam artists. Especially during these terrible economic times, you know probably lots of people will take the bait.

Received several phone calls from this agency "BIG". They are very secretive about their address.  After a battle I obtained a fax number to place them on notice.  Their fax number is 1-877-762-7350. If anyone has their address I could use it so I can send them a certified letter.

I received a message from Amy at a financial group with this number. It sounded very unprofessional so I looked it up and found this site.

I got internet phone (VoIP) last August and apparently whoever had the number before me had dealings with this company.  I took a few calls from them (luckily it's not my main phone so I can usually just ignore it) and tried to tell them that the person they're trying to reach is no longer at this number, that I got it in August...they didn't yell but they never stop calling.  I just ignore them...I think that's probably all I can do.  They leave messages on my voice mail and I delete them.

did anyone everytake a loan with these people i did and a 300 doller loan has ened up being well over 600,5o buck each pay check and i've now have had to close out my banking acct and open a new one.i just got another call from them today at work and they said i still owed 330.to pay it off.i told them i have more than payed off the loan and wouldn't pay any more,but by law can they do anything?

Has called my job over 8 times in one day. Asked to be transfered to my manager. Asking co-workers whomever answer the phone regarding me.

Received a call from this company asking for a co-worker.  I advised the male on the phone that my co-worker could not have personal calls unless it was an emergency (we screen magazines and bill collectors for our employees - they do not need to call people's work!).  He advised me that my co-worker told him that he could call work.  I said I would take a message and give it to him.  Then I went on the internet and found this.  The caller was extremely rude and was definately foreign.

I had several messages left on my machine from the same 877 number.  Messages left for someone that never lived at my place.

When I called this company back to tell them they had the wrong number they asked for my name and social security number, claiming that was the only way to access my phone number in their computer system so that it could be removed from their auto dialer.  They were very rude and spoke with heavy accents.  I gave them nothing.

Further Google searches show this phone number as belonging to some payroll loan company called B.I.G. International, but the information they try to bully out of you just reeks of a phone phishing scam.

BIG is calling every morning for one of our employees, harassing her, asking for her social security number, and her bank account number and routing number. We have informed them that we do not want them calling our place our business, which has been disregarded. Our employee has no idea who these people are. They are hardly understandable, with a different person calling each day.

SAME THING HAS BEEN HAPPENING TO ME!! PHONE CALLS LIKE CRAZY AT WORK. I WORK FOR THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND THEY KEEP CALLING SAYING I OWE THEM MONEY. NEVER HEARD OF THE COMPANY AND ITS CRAZY. THEY ALSO HAVE TALK TO MY COWORKERS AND SUPERVISOR GETTING THEM UPSET SAYING I OWE THEM. I HAVE REPORTED THEM TO THE BBB. I PRAY THEY WILL STOP THE CALLS. THEY HAVE CALLED FOR THREE MONTHS AT LEAST 50 TIMES.... AND THEY DONT SPEAK GREAT ENGLISH.

They actually sent a text message to my phone with this number!  They call non-stop, are rude and have even made threats.  If I hang up, they call right back.  Whenever they call now, I just press and hold the # on my phone...works almost as good as an air horn.  They don't call again for awhile after that happens.

The caller is threatening me and have phone my office, Sept.12 at least 8 times. I have a consolidation debt company that is helping me with my debts and I know that they have contacted B.I.G. What can be done about these harrassing phone calls.

calls everday and harrass my work. I have given them lawyer information.  they get angry yell at you. I yell back, hang up on them. Threaten charges against them. They are nasty, hang up on you, even if you talk to a supervisor, they threaten you even more.

They have clled my office slowing my staff production about a person that we cant reach. these guys are not a USA company, they appear to be from india or somewhere in that region. they have no regards or repect for people only to make money, if anyone has any infor on how we may stop this abuse and stupid activity please make note here on this blog.

Received repeated calls at work from some guy name Gary who says I owe a payday loan to BIG.  He threatened to garnish my pay etc.  I asked him to email me some information on this loan, so I can see what it is that he is asking me to pay.  He then percedes to tell me, or so you are not going to pay this.  I told him, I am not paying something with out seeing something in writing first.

Person identified himself as Jim Lewis from the Relegal Department.  Called every 30 seconds for about 20 minutes.  When we asked him to stop calling, he said "what are you going to do about it?"

WHAT REAL COMPANY WOULD ONLY HAVE ONE PAGE WITH NO LINKS? THIS IS A SCAM COMPANY.

My husband called me to tell me that a company was repeatedly calling the main office of his Job telling them to have him call them back. The number was 1-877-283-6730. So because he was at work i called the company and spoke to a guy who said his name was "Jim Lewis", he was very rude and mean. He told me that my husbands employer/supervisor was responsible for paying back the loan and that he would keep calling my husbands employer until we pay it back. He also threatened to give our account information and other important information to my husbands employer. He was a total clown that could barely speak english and was accusing my husband of threating him and playing tricks on him when my husband was talking about the payments. When "Jim" told my husband that he was recording everything said my husband told him to take it to court and play it in court he replied "No no no". Just to shut him up we created a payment plan(we didnt pay a dime when plan was set up) but are not going to pay until he can present us with real evidence that we owe them money. I think this company should be well investigated. I just dont want my husband to lose his job over this scam!!

We receive calls almost daily from this number. They use differnt tactics including arguing, laughing and hanging up. We have the name of BIG - Big Investment Group. They will not provide an address. And will not stop the harrassment, despite repeated requests not to call. Like some of the other posts, this is a business. They call on our toll free number that is reserved for our customers. How about a loud whistle in the receiver, like you do for an obscene caller???

Keeps calling me 50+ times harassing me at work, and now calls all my co-workers at work....
