They contacted me the Stupid but I got all my money out before they got to it. I actually gave them my password. When I realized what had just happened I drained my bank account. I changed the numbers to my account and will never answer and text email again in my life.

text message as follows
"345@tmomail.com
C.U. of Texas account is temporarily frozen please call at 877.268.1057"
they are asking for account number when you call the number. I do not have an account with them and would not give it over the phone anyway. C.U. of Texas confirmed that they do not send texts to customers.

Actually, the FBI says to report this to the Internet Crime Complaint website: http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx
I would like these guys put behind bars.

I got 2 text messages on 9/6/09, a Sunday. They said my account had been temporarily frozen and to call this # I don't have a card with C.U. of Texas so I knew this was a scam and did not respond. I'm reporting this to the Attorney General.

Same here. Got a text message @ 12.19PM 9/6/09 saying "alert@cuoftexas.org / CUofTX. (Card Blocked) Alert. For more information please call 1-800-439-9458. Thank you. /" Obviously a scam. Bums should be ashamed of themselves. Then again, so should anyone who falls for this and actually enters their account number(s).
