I received a call from this number on a Saturday afternoon. It was a political poll sponsored by one of the 10 primary candidates running for Congress in my district in Virginia. A totally benign experience. The call lasted 13 minutes.

Received calls yesterday & today.  Sent it to voice mail but no message left.

Scum bags called my unlisted cell phone number AGAIN.  I don't bother to answer the call.  Called me at 7:30 p.m. and I have always been on the DNC list!

Received call and called would only say she is Nicole from GHY. I don't owe anyone money so I know its not collections. I asked what GHY is and sh rudely said she would tell me unless I confirmed my name. I said I wouldn't confirm anything without knowing who I am talking to, and she repeated "Nicole from GHY. I advised I am on the do not call registery and to remove my number. She hung up on me. I am temped to vote for the opponant that they are trying to rally votes for.

I have no idea whose this # belongs to so I did not answer probably some telemarketer.

No one cares if it's your job. We have jobs too and don't need to be hassled so late in the day, or at all for that matter. Get a real job.

What makes you think it's from the Romney party? They apparently asked you about all parties.

I actually work at one of the centers we are just doing our job and actually our surveys are biased more liberal...i feel really bad about calling so late, but id feel even worse if i got fired for doing so,
if you just do the survey it really helps us keep our jobs.

This is a number for "National Opinion Surveys", whatever that is.  I have a feeling it's from the Romney campaign.  I agreed to answer a few brief questions on current politics, etc.  They told me they don't have a website so I have no idea if this is legit.    None of the questions were personal except for first name and birth year.  The questions were:
What's your opinion of Barack Obama
...Mitt Romney
...tea party movement
who's responsible for deciding whether a law is constitutional
should abortion be legal in all cases, some cases, no cases
how many senators are there
how many representatives are there
which party controls the house of representatives
are you a democrat, republican, other
strong or weak democrat, republican or other

i can't find any other info online about this "company"

Please stop this caller from harassing me and so many others!! I have an elderly friend who is very upset by these calls.  STOP CALLING!!!

I go to bed early, and don't need to be getting phone calls from this number daily at 9:30pm.  Stupid.

just got a call on my cell phone from 877-295-1280.  Odd since I do not use my cell much for the phone, only internet and texting and do not give out my phone #.  Can't be a debt collector.  No message left.

I received a call tonight from 877-295-1280. They said "Since we are calling you on your cell phone, are you driving or doing anything that would be dangerous while on the cell phone?" I said no, then they ask if they can put me on hold for a second.I said sure, thinking they really meant a second, and after a couple of minutes of being on hold, they hung up! They had identified themselves as some sort of survey company, but I am going deaf due to acoustic neuroma tumors on my nerves between my eardrum and my brain, so I can't always tell what people are actually saying, and I could not figure out what they said other than that they were doing a survey. I tried calling them back, just to make sure it wasn't some sort of cell phone cloning scam, and was told that 877-295-1280 had been disconnected! Thank you for all of you who have reported this number too, at least I know I am not alone!

1030 at night and they just hang up? Ridiculous.

They are calling on my cellphone using up my minutes.  Disgusting.

Trying to find out who calls from this phone number.

I am receiving 2  to 3 calls a day from 877 295 1280.  When I answer, no one picks up. The caller ID  says 800 SERVICE.

got a call from this number after 9pm and I know this is illegal to make calls like this for any reason, bill collection, donations, political reasons,etc.  Would like to know who they are.  No one answered the phone when I picked up and when I call back I get the operator stating that the number I dialed 352-371-2127 has been disconnected, weird!

They called at 9:06 PM on a Friday night.  No message left.

I recieved a call from this number today. My voicemail is deactivated so no message, didnt answer, but I called back n it said I called a different number than what was actually dialed n it said it was disconnected. I am a telemarketer myself so its irritating I know.  Im not defending them but still at least its a job. N whats cg anyway? I have no bills!
