this telephone company calls relentlessly several times a day from early morning till late night.  They are always trying to collect a debt from Jennifer Lux or/and on some occasions they are trying to sell something.  This needs to stop.

Diversified collections trying to collect on old cell phone bills over 7 yrs old which is no longer on anybody's credit bureau. What a bunch of bottom feeders.

It is indeed the "Diversified" collection agency.  No name appears on caller-id devices, but a return call to the number eventually generates a recording to the effect:  "You have reached Roof Corporation of Denver.  Nobody is available to take your call.  Please call back for a free estimate."  Well, nobody ever accused anyone at a collection agency of having brains!   Yes, THIS IS ABOUT VERIZON.  TO WIT:

In July 2010 Verizon committed a blatant criminal fraud against me, which I did not discover until Sept. of
2012.  They had sold me a phone which was a "Comcast" phone which they had taken in on a nationwide
promotion to rape other companies of their customers.  70% of phone features and the service did not work
for 26 months before the problem was identified.  Verizon subsequently committed further criminal acts by
lying to a U.S. Congressman and the FCC.  They tried to penalize me $140 for canceling the service, despite having been their customer for 6 years....ie, NO contract in effect.  They also lied about that to the FCC and Congressman (further fraud) claiming that they had a phone "recording" of me authorizing another contract. That was pure falsehood of course, and when the FCC and Congressman demanded a copy of the recording, Verizon FAILED to respond despite numerous requests to Verizon.  (It should be noted that no company executes formal written contracts over the telephone.  Duh.  In any case, where's the recording?)

"Diversified" is now the 5th (fifth) collection agency engaged by Verizon since Oct. 2012, trying to collect an illegitimate $140 penalty.  One agency even DOUBLED the amount, citing the additional $140 as a "processing fee".  Verizon and their collection agencies have violated the Fair Debt Collection Act numerous times, calling me late at night, on weekends and holidays, and even my spouse at work.    I have explained to each that there is no way that I will pay Verizon ***ANY*** penalty, not even 1 cent,  for a sleezy FRAUD (and subsequent frauds to the government) which they perpetrated on me.   I cannot image why any sensible person would ever want to do business with Verizon.  They are poison, and they are liars.  I paid Verizon what they were legitimately entitled to for the ("lack" of) service received, but I will NEVER pay any fraudulent penalty.  No contract, no penalty.  Unbelievably, since Verizon has ignored the Government's request for the alleged recording, the Government will take no further action!  Both the Congressman and FCC closed the matter!

If there had been some legitimate form of "contract", I would have gladly paid a penalty just to get Verizon
out of my life!  I have a 786 credit score, and have never failed to pay a bill on time and when due!

The Federal Government should penalize Verizon in the HIGH millions for Verizon's demonstrated contempt for both their customers and the Government, failure to produce evidence requested by the Government,
lying to a U.S. Congressman, not to mention Verizon's deliberate dishonesty from the onset...God help us.  
(BTW, the Congressman is Ron Barber, who replaced Gabrille Giffords when she was shot.)

I highly recommend that anyone considering a business relationship with Verizon think it over carefully.

I received calls from this number every morning at 8:30 and throughout the day all day. They also call from 417-622-0474. I'm putting them on block. I have AT&T and they charge a fee to block but I'm going to pay it because they're getting on my last nerve.

I received a call from this number and as someone else stated - I do not even have Verizon!

Thay are connected to Verizon someway..same area code and they call everytime I am using phone....like they get a signal my phone is active...and in use

I think this is a scam. They tried collecting for a comcast bill and I stopped using comcast months ago. Said it was a bad check. Funny thing is that I haven't used a check in literally years. He quickly corrected himself but I don't think this is truly a collector.

SCAM. The guy that called me spoke fast and he asked me for my social right off the break and didn't say what he wanted. I shut him down and I asked for a call back number since I was at work and wasnt just going to give my info over the phone to a nobody. He gave me 1-877-304-0465 ext: 1306. haha, if you try to call back it says "we are temporarily unable to connect you with a representative"... For 3 days? Never did find out what he wanted. Sounds like a scam. Be careful who you give your information to .

Have Metro PCS with no contract yet this number andothers they use keep calling me. Am on the no call list yet they keep breaking the law. How do you stop them?

They also call on behlf of sprint.

I received a call today from this number and I don't even have Verizon.  They left no message.

They also call from the #503-278-5045...I called the # and they are also Diversified Consultants which serves to collect money for Verizon..our accts are current so their should be no reason for these calls!

I don't know why they would be calling me...our verison bill has always been current! They need to stop calling!!

got a call from them asking for a Micheal that I do not and have never heard of. Lady got an attitude when we told her no she couldn't talk to the guy b/c we didn't know who he was. Said she would call back later. Not gonna know who he is then either!

They keep calling and looking for somone else and have gotten nasty on the phone.  I have tried to call them and tell them to stop calling brcause we aren't that person, but then it starts again in a couple of weeks.

This is diversified consultants. Verizon wireless' hounds. They are polite as someone on this site mentioned. But if you have T-mobile and a collector calls 40 times to your T-mobile phone, you tend to become frustrated because as in my case they say they will remove my number from their database and I still get calls. So they are forever dubbed Verizon's hounds.

Its a debt collector trying to collect a past due Verizon bill that has gone into collections. I was told they are not allowed to leave voicemails without your consent. When I talked with them I was very suprised at how nice and helpful they were!

I keep getting calls from this number, but I  don't pick up.  They don't leave messages on my answering machine, either.

Received a call from them.  They are a skip trace company looking for someone with the same last name as me but never heard of them.  they were very rude.

Received call from the smae number. It is a debt collector. They told me they were trying to collect on a verizon bill that I had already paid.

Calls with recorded message to wait for someone and then there is never anyone there.  Obviously spam or something not legit.  Doesn't leave a message when no one answers.  Annoying.
