They kept calling me that i owe a hospital bill. I had insurance then. Then they kept harassing me so me the fool start paying. So i got fed up and stop paying them. Omg they called 5 times a day fr different numbers, i ignore them. Told me that they r gonna bring me to court.

I have these 2 numbers calling me everyday 401-256-5992 and 401-519-7098 I never answered until yesterday and a real live lady that was talking real fast said she's from Ers group and she has a regarding notice for me and that she needs to send it to me by mail and she wants me to verify my address and she knew my old home address..I asked what was the notice for and she just repeated that she needed me to verify my address that I have a regarding notice..It sounded real strange to me so I hung up the phone and they are still calling me so I blocked their number.

Follow the steps in what you need to know. Demand debt validation via the US mail. Also look up your states Statues of limitations.

I got a call from a Mr. James Staneon about a debt that I had with a lending company called Hydra Financial Limited Fund II. Since this is a valid debt that I have I believed him. He asked me if I would be able to settle this debt. I told him I couldn't and asked him to send me something in the mail to verify that I owe how much he said. He refused to send me anything until I set up a payment arrangement. He then went on to tell me that if I don't set up some type of payment then he would send this matter to my county's court office and they would serve me court papers. He then threatened that the police would take my children from me and send them with DSS. I don't like what they are doing. This does not seem right. Is this a legal company and do they have the right to send me to court? He called me from number 1 855-765-6714 ext. 305.

They are also calling from 850-387-0231 stating they want to verify my address. I had to ask who was calling. He said ERS Group. I hung up

They call from all of the United States.  They use cellular numbers to trick people.  When you call back they answer ERS group by the computer.  

This info has been good to find! They called my aunt asking her where they could find me, and gave her an address that I haven't lived at in almost two years! At first she thought it was my great grandmother be ause they are still getting calls for her (she died 13 years ago) and we have the same name. My aunt said she was surprised when they gave her MY birthdate. I just gave her all the info I found on here.

A woman called from this number.  She didn't really identify why she was calling or who she was, but rushed into trying to verify info.  I refused, but she was saying that she wouldn't be able to help me then.  She had some correct info, but I don't have any dealings with ERS Group.  I hung up.

I received call from 888-397-5002, left similar message as noted in responses above, except person calling left her name but not the company name, said need to verify address to mail time sensitive document.  So I took the number to work to call to find out name of company, ERS Group.  I am so glad I found this site and information I read. I can not understand why I was getting a call like this, it was kind of upsetting so formal with  no information. Thanks everyone for posting. There is always safety in numbers, we have to stick together.

ERS is a scam. They wanted to verify a Social Security number and my birthday. I told them I was calling the police, which I did. I also reported ERS to the North Carolina Attorney General. The number is a cell phone 910 816 1222 from Lumberton, NC

They keep calling for my husband  at my parents house, its an automated recording not allowing any response by the receiver. Also asking to verify how to reach him and his address. My parents just laugh and hang up. I called back the local number and it was ERS Group, and it to was automated and asked me to please hang on the line and of course I hung up. I assume its a debt collector my husband had some old hospital bills from Florida for at least 100,000 which he could never repay!! Anyway good luck ERS if you are a scam you will be found out!!

My calls are from a local phoenix number but giving info of ers group 888-297-5002. same thing. Asking to verify address

ERS group calling from local numbers and refusing to say why they are calling but to verify my location. These days that is a red flag by anyone's terms.  They have called my parents home phone and have now called my sisters house in a different state. I specifically stated that they should not call my sisters number again. The representative was evasive but not rude, just suspicious and after reading reviews and comments of others, I can see why.  She would also not say they are collecting a debt but after i verify info, then she will answer my questions, I don't think so! They used local numbers both times...cellular phone shows on caller ID. I will see of they continue to call.

Got a call today from 615-815-1135 stating he was Rick Asino from ERS Group and that he was attempting to verify my address.  Asked them who they were and they told me they just  needed to verify my address, to which I said I am a fraud office and am not verifying anything with you until you tell me what this is about.  Was told some crapt about the Privacy Act and stated that I still would not tell them anything, to which they responded I have your full SS# ending in ####  and gave my address, then got very angry and told me I was obviously not me because I didn't know my information.  Looked up ERS and called their contact number from their website, sat on hold for a bit then phone started to ring and ring and ring.  I finally just hung up these have to be scammers!

Just keep receiving phone call after phone call from this company day after day even after I asked them not to. Don't know what this is about....but am very tired of getting these calls...

They called and left a message on my cell stating that they need to verify my address to send out a legal notice.  When I did talk to them about a month ago I asked what the debt was for and asked to send me a letter to which neither was done.  Who is this ERS Group?

If they refuse to send a debt validation letter to you, you know that they're not on the up and up.  No proof of debt = no debt owed.

The ERS called my mom's home while I was on vacation and they told her that they needed to speak with me and that I was "In Trouble". They wouldn't tell her what I had done. They gave her this number for me to call back 1-888-397-2880 but they never answered when I called. I'm glad I found this site before I talked to them. Thanks

oh one more little bit of info i have a cable phone and can get to my account via internet i can block the numbers coming into my phone and its free comes with service months go by no calls they call from new number i block it lol

For the past year I have received hundreds of  telephone calls from this company, from different numbers mostly from 6:00 A.M. to 11:00 P.M. the phone numbers are from New Jersey, when I answer the call they say that they are the IRS real fast, and want to verify my address and Social Security Number, I ask Who, What and why they say they are from ERS group and they have legal documents for me, I tell them again who, what, why I just don?t give out personal information over the phone, they respond by saying under Federal law they don?t have to tell me anything, I say Click a few months of investigation I find out Everest Receivables Inc. They keep calling for my husband and they dont want. I got a call today asking me to verify my name and address.  Then they said that HSBC MasterCard says I owe $610.  I've NEVER had this credit card.  As a matter of fact, I pulled my credit report and looked for it and it doesn't show up!  They called me from 1-888-397-2880!

These people will NOT stop calling me. Theyve been calling me since i was 4 months pregnant and my baby is now 4 months! Its VERY annoying. Worst part about it i they use fake numbers now. They call me from random 510 numbers and sometimes i pick up because it could be someone else for me. I dont know when its going to stop but it needs to be NOW. They know my whole name and want to get my address. No no NO YOU AINT GETTING NOTHING! This makes me really upset. Freakin scamers!!

They just called me from 267-234-7726.  I missed the call and called the number on my cell. A recording said they were ERS Group and to leave my number. I hung up

I get phone calls from 678-608-3845 I answered it the first time b/c it was a local number for me and the recording said that they are trying to locate me (kinda creeped me out!). They didn't even identify I haven't answered a call since and now they are calling my husband.  They never leave a message on my VM.

These people call my phone several times a day and lets the phone ring 20 times. I call back from my cell and they won't tell me anything

Got calls from this number plus numbers that starts with 412-567-**** and 412-339-****, if they are from NY or where they are at. Why are they using area code 412 from Pittsburgh, PA? They don't have a office in PA.

I received a call from this company using 916-520 6072  regarding a debt from 5 years ago for a bank.  I thought it was legit and verified my last four ss#s.  She tried to make arrangements to pay, which i cant do.  Said they going to send me a legal notice in 10 days.  She put me on hold and I hung up.  Havent had another call since.
