Too funny..I recieved a text from the number 720-288-4673..claiming that I won a $100.00 target gift card from some website, and when I asked WHICH website they couldn't tell me...hmmm.yes it was an indian man..and when I asked what the catch was..they assured me no catch I just had to pay a SMALL fee of $1.00..naturally on my credit card, so then I asked why can't I send $1.00 in? He told me that they need the credit card to pay for it...when I said I do not have a credit card.they hung up and now the number is no longer in service. A shame because I wanted to call back and mess with them.

I just got a call from these guys at my business and they kept dodging the question about being in the actual Walmart Home Office but they had the Bentonville address and knew that the number they called is in West LA so they guessed that "I must shop at the store on Crenshaw and only the *real* Walmart would know that so you *must* believe us!" What a joke. I've never been to the store and the number they called is for a business not an individual, which they didn't know.
The first guy John A put me through to his 'boss' Jack who also has a horrible accent and he continued trying to convince me. So I tried a few other options to get them to confirm who they were. I asked them to email me some info but they claimed "they're new and didn't have the ability to email me." So I asked for their phone number so I could check it and they said they'd only give me that *after* getting the credit card number. So I offered to give them my UPS charge back number so the shipping would be free and they said that their boss wouldn't allow that. I asked who that was and he said "Sam Walton, you know who he is right?" Right, they work directly for richest guy in the world! What a bunch of buffoons!

Alright just to get some clarification out there. from a person that has been in the business for a long time. There is such a thing as free, wether its a $200 gift voucher, or $1000 grocery coupon, walmart gift cards, homedeopt gift cards, so on and so on. Being in the industry was an eye opener and I've taken advantage of both the $200 walmart gift voucher( which is to other stores as well) and I receved mine and actually got to use it. The catch was I was aloud to use it in 25 dollar incraments and only once a month . So i went to target used the card that I gave them when I called. then returned the purchase a week later with no receipt followed the steps for my purchase and received a check for my purchase. granted I did have to take some time out of my day and thats were most people beleive its a scam simple because they dont want to take the time out of there day to follow instructons. I do these things all the time and have alot of free stuff to show because of it. In a nut shell PAY ATTENTION!!!! follow intructions and you'll be fine. We all pay monthly fees to protect our selves against fraudulent activity protection wether you know it or not. USE IT ... If you call the provider of the card and tell them to monitor the transaction and it falls through. you call them again and tell them to cancel the transaction and its a done deal. Stop being lazy and follow instructions. thats how companies "scam" you. . . . .

you guys are ignorant. I've been working for this company about 5 months and it's really not a scam or else i wouldn't have a job answering phone calls from you people. A lot of you people think it's a 200$ giftcard where you can use it right away but guess what it's a VOUCHER. That means you need to spend 200$ save your receipts and we'll reimburse you. And second of all if you guys were the least bit intellectual you wouldn't call in the first place. You guys only think it's a scam because you perceive things to be differently, but to be blunt you guys just don't have a whole sense of marketing and sales.

CALL BE THE BIGGEST FREAKIN IDIOT..............i fell for this stupid Wal-mart thing.  they also tell you that when they ship the 200 gift voucher, they send 2 other different membership things with it.  WELL, no walmart card, NOTHING but yet, you better bet your *ss they have charged me the shipping 2 times, along with 4 other charges.  Apparently they are showing that i signed up for their memberships which i did not.  Right now i am showing i paid them almost 170.00.  I am in the middle of disputing the charges.  Guess we'll see.  told you, SO STUPID!!!

I got a text messege, Told me thanks for visiting their site and gave me a code b29f206c for a Walmart $200 Gift Card. I called and a guy with accent eventually asked me for my card information so i can pay the shipping and handling on the card. Im glad something told me to hang up, Im also wondering how he got my cell phone number, but its easy for hackers since so much information is on computers ( survey's, online purchases, etc..)

Just received a text from this company with the text number of 478-79.  Story of the $200 walmart gift card with a phone number of 1-877-233-4972.  I obviously didn't call the number and don't plan to since it's a scam, but I'm worried about charges being added to my cell bill.  I called T-Mobile and they advised to monitor my bill online the next week and if something shows up to call them back.  On another website I read that just by opening the text you are agreeing to their terms of service and will be charged a monthly fee.  I don't ever download anything on my phone so I don't know how this kind of stuff works.  Do I need to be concerned about being charged since I opened the message?  I am hesitant to text back "stop" in case that will result in charges being added to my bill.  Any help would be appreciated, Thanks!

Funny i keep messing with them call and ask where they are from and what the zip code is there, THey hang up on you, this guys name was john williams.  maybe if enough of us keep calling and messsing with them they will stop for a short while maybe

I am sooooo glad i checked it out before i gave them any information. So i called a couple times and messed with them. asking where they were from and what the sip code was there and they would hang up. And they all had hilarious names like sam daniels, scott jameson, and dan thomas.  LOL I am absolutly SICK of these people!!!!!!! i called these guys to just get a rise out of them. they seemed to think that they could talk me out of believing that they were a scam, so when I told them that I was having the call traced to where I dialed, they got irate with me. after that it was only a matter of about 45 seconds and they hung up on me.

i work as a debt collector, I handle most of my business over the phone, people like this make my job even harder.

i called them back, and some guy again(indian) came on line but this time other one, so i asked him whats his name lol he told me silvester bond, then i asked him what is his ethnicity, and he cudnt understand the question (meaning of ethnicity)  then he is like u calling me to ask my information or the 200$gift card i said welll its not 200 its 200,000$ lol he acted so indian(am telling this coz i know people there) and i started cursing him left and right and said if he fukingcalls me i shall give is ip address to FBI and say this guy was giving threats... haha and i hung up.

Received a text message on my cellphone about a $200 Wal-mart gift card, and a 10 day free trial to a discount club.  Just had to pay 9.90 shipping and handling.  Gave me the 877 number to call but i didn't give them my credit card  information. I didn't recognize the sight they said i visited and if I won something I didn't think I should have to pay for it.

I received a text as well with a PRMO code to claim a 200 Walmart Gift card. I called but was asked for my credit card #. They explained it was for a Shipping and Handling fee. I did not give my Card # although it was very tempting. A $200 gift card to Walmart and Christmas weeks away was very tempting. I think its very unfortuante that at a time like this, the world is still full of folks trying to scam and get over. VERY DISGUSTED!!!!!!

OMG I GOT THIS TOO and me believing them i bought into it i payed them 9.90 now i just got to wait for the 200 dollar gift card and after 10 days cancel it and if im not charged any more after that then its a good deal if not omg i am so hurt! and they would teach me never to trust again

i got the same promo code and what i did was i asked the guy where is he calling from, i am indian and i cud sense the jack a** on other end was indian(stong accent) i asked him where is he calling me from, he told me arizona, then he asked me to pay 9.something dollars and give my master or visa info. i said well herez how it is, why dont u substract the amount from my gift card and just send me gift card of 190$instead ,he said no we have to charge ur card ,i said well tell me this, which zipcode u located in, guess what he told me, lol let me check in my system (what a f*** head)and asked me to hold lol... then he hung up

Hi the number that you are talking about is a scam if u have an unemployment chase card and a sprint phone for some reason they are texting people and saying something is wrong with your card and asking for your card number and pin if u gave them the info then call your credit card comppany and let them know what happen u can get more info on unemployment website. hope this helps
