I replied & told them to take me off their list - they cam back & said "you have opted out of the service" I hope this helps!

The message I got was about a job for getting paid $50/hr for mystery shopping or something similar. I hope I don't get charged for this text. I don't know who it is. How do I find out?

if they knew how angry receiving these texts make us they would stop. this type of marketing is like shooting yourself in both feet. the govt no-not-call registry doesn't seem to stop the texts. HELP!
i filed a complaint with the national do not call registry at 888-382-1222. what else can you do? i pay everytime i receive a text, and this makes me screaming mad!

They texted me, too. Having to pay for text messages from someone I don't know is annoying, and should be illegal. Obviously, they aren't getting my business...
I have posted all my phone numbers on the Do Not Call Registry 3 or 4 times over the past couple years. Thus, I presume any company bound by the laws regarding unsolicited calls would not be abusing my phone numbers.
The call I received above was a text message, but still an abuse of my phone numbers and privacy. I am not sure if text messages are considered illegal or not, but I don't appreciate being charged by my phone company for text messages from people I don't know.

Register ALL your phone numbers on the government's "Do Not Call Registry":

I don't know how effective this is, as my phone numbers are on the Do Not Call Registry. Hopefully, some of the telemarketers are filtered out. Don't count on BBB doing anything.
