The Autism group is not affiliated with Wings of Hope, a St. Louis charity that serves poor children both stateside and globally. WoH does not call for donations

This foundation, has been calling my home phone 3 to for times a day, the number on my caller I.D. is 866-501-3683. I look it up when I get home in the evening, the calls are missed calls because I am at work, and my husband i sleeping because he works the grave yard shift, all night.  I am furious with these people, the calls wake my husband up, and he can not get to the phone, they even call on Sundays. If i had money to donate, I would not give it to them, they are harassing us by calling all hours of every day of the week.  If I can find the source of this group, I am planning to file a law  suit against them, for disturbing our home life. I, too, have received calls from the 877-309-3741 number and no one answers or leaves any message.
I have gotten calls from numerous numbers daily since the middle of May and they all list as "unavailable".  When I answer the phone there is no one there and I just hang up.  If they are looking for donations that certainly is not a good way to go.  Irritating people certainly doesn't put them in the mood to make any donations for any cause.  Why are they allowed to harrass people who are already on the do not call list?

I called 866-582-7634 and asked to be taken off their call list. The woman who answered was friendly and said she would, but asked for my name and zip code.

I gave a fake name and zip code. She already had my phone number. I'm sure they can get my name and zip code but I'll make them work for it. Anyway, we'll see if they really take me off. I am PEEVED about all their calls!

Didn't answer but really resent the calls when I am on every do not call list there is!

Given the time, I like to answer the phone and say, "hello, hello, hello" or whatever.   The 'live' voice then triggers someone to start their spiel.  I then either sing a song -- "the girl from Ipanema" or the Beatles, "you say {hello} and I say {goodbye}" are common ones for me or just keep saying hello.  Their reactions are funny.  If they're still there after awhile I ask them how do they feel being ignored?  I then just hang up.  The DAILY American Lung Association calls stopped for over two weeks now.

While I was out, I got a call from this number.  Who are they?

I called the 877-309-2741 number which is The Autism Foundation Wings of Hope Program number then it had a recording to call 866-582-7634 to talk to a real person.  I called the 866 number and asked them to take me off their calling list; I had to give them my phone number to take it off their list.  We'll hopefully see if this works.

This is only one of the many numbers used by this company who's caller id is 800 service.
I did some research and found them on BBB.org. they are not member but can be found on the BBB site because of all the complaints filed against them. Check it out, here's the link

They have many numbers and company names. I found one number where an actual human being answers the phone 203-324-7635 (virtrue.com).
It is in CT. but it is the same company. If you google Deborah Podrazo (name grabbed from the BBB report) you will see the association.

They are a telemarketing company which should be harrassed as much as they harrass us.
I hope everyone gives them a call and a piece of their minds. My plan is to fax them to that number as much as possible, see if they like being harrassed.

Likewise: It says unavailable. You know, this type of call (even though I'm on the no call list) has gone beyond the point of having any effect at all. I don't care. The ringing no longer gets on my nerves, and if I don't know the number, I don't answer. If the call is actually meant for me, the caller will leave a message. Once in a while I check on a site like this just for the heck of it, But the calls don't bother me anymore-- just background noise. I do most of my communication by 'puter. The phone is not much different than the spam basket at my e-mail address.

They call me about once every week. I never pick up. They never leave messages.

This number is used by The Autism Foundation Wings of Hope Program but it shows up as "unavailable" on caller id.  The person calling just hands up or does not leave a message.  It is call center using a robo caller to solicit donations.  This is very annoying.  To have your name and number put on their do not call list you must call this number then press "2" that will give you another number to call so you can speak with a representative and request that they place you on their do not call list.

Our phone rang at dinner time..."unavailable" on caller ID....did NOT leave message!  Any ideas where this is coming from??
