Received a VM left on my work phone today from this phone number at 9AM stating that I needed to contact Check Systems regarding fraudulent activity on my account.  Why would someone call me at work regarding activity on my bank accounts when it isn't my bank?  I don't have any problems with my bank accounts that I am aware of so why would I get a message like this.  There is a company located in MN with this name; I guess that I will call their customer service # to find out if I am in their system, or if they called me.  I am not calling the phone number back as I don't recognize it; nor should I respond to a call like this.  It sounds like a scam.  If it is in fact a debt collector, then why wouldn't they leave a person's actual name and phone nubmer to contact, and how did they get my work #?  I don't know anyone with this company name.

This is really frustrating.......  Please respond back if you have any information on this company or phone number.

A recorded message left a VM on my work phone this morning at 9AM saying that I needed to call Check Systems as there is fraudulent activity on my account.  They said to call this phone number back.  Why would someone call my work #, and how would they get it?  This isn't from my bank where is my checking account is.  When I look up the phone number for check systems online; the customer service number is a completely different phone number.  I don't have any problems with my checking account currently.  Why would I get this call?

I am not calling the number back, but I am going to contact the real Check Systems to find out if there is anything in their system on me of it they called.
