I just received the same phone call moments ago from "Dennis Layden" with the same line of B.S., he seemed quite disturbed when I wasn't letting him speak to anyone and continued to ask him more questions that he finally told me he was making calls for his collegue that is out by our office that is looking to "send us referrals" and he I was able to get a company name "INJURY SOLUTIONS" the number he gave me was 212-647-7083 ext: 237.

Being as the other post is from 2012, it appears that our buddy Dennis Layden is still well employed with the schamming industry...shame on him!

Had a call from Michael Grant claiming to be calling on behalf of a lawyer who wanted to transfer some files. Several red flags during the conversation, but what clinched it is that I got a call from him a year and a half ago with an entirely different cover story.

Same tiger, different stripes.  Much nicer than most telemarketers but still a waste of time.

Received a few calls from this number from "Dennis Layden" who calls on behalf of a ?colleague? who ?was in an auto accident?. That?s it. Anytime I?ve asked for more information, he?s stated that he will only give it to an attorney. His call back number is 415-337-0130 ex 238 and he is not at all polite.

Dennis Layden just called to ask for help with personal injuries that he allegedly sustained in my city last weekend. Not surprisingly, he could not identify the intersection where he was injured. When he figured out that I knew he was a slimeball telemarketer right from the start, he hung up. Good riddance!

Received a call from this phone number. They asked for the name of our firm, then proceeded to ask our attorney's name, when I asked who was calling, I was hung up on.

These people just don't stop. Caller ID 800-255-6987, 404-522-5485 & 877-247-8384.

No one who has ever received a call from these scammers would promote them. Your post proves the scammers have now infiltrated this site!

Our law firm just received a call from this number. A man identifying himself as "Lawrence Jones" claimed he needed to speak with the attorney regarding an "accident." He refused to provide any information and provided the call-back number (904) 296-1279 x326. This is not the first time we have received a deceptive solicitation call from this number. I called the 800 number, told the woman who answered we did not have time for these deceptive "marketing" calls and asked that we be removed from their "call" list.

I just got one of these calls from a Michael Grant.  He asked if we did personal injury work and asked if he could speak with one of the attorneys.  I am the one that does new p.i. case intake, so I told him the attorney was out (which he was) and asked if I could be of assistance.  He said he would leave a message for the attorney.  I didn't like his tone, nor did it jive that the caller id showed an 800 number and he was giving me his "local" number..which, when I searched the internet, said was a cell phone..so, I did a little reasearch.  I called back the 800 number and it was answered as Injury Solutions, so I looked that up and found the principal as another guy with the last name of Grant...It was obviously not another law firm like the guy eluded to..obviously I will not be giving his message to my attorney...but I really hate that they waste my time...

I just received a call from Lawrence Jones.  This guy is getting into car accidents all over the country it seems!!  AND he owns a lot of property, considering the amount of local phone numbers that he has.!!  Amazing!

Guy called twice saying he wanted to refer a "colleague".  How very nice of him.

Jonathan Zane keeps calling our law office from the 800-255-6987 number.  The first time he said he had a new personal injury client for us but he hadn't obtained the accident report yet.  He called back this time with a different story saying his company, Injury Solutions, wanted to transfer several PI files to our office.  He left the local #: 615-332-8412 ext. 332

Another one. Clay Russell this time, using a local number as a call back. The local number came back to a home improvement contractor, and this guy didn't sound like a home improvement contractor.  Caller ID reflected the 1800 number. About a "Personal Injury" matter.

I received a call from this 800 # with the name of Mr. Lawrence Jones asking for a personal injury attorney; with which I said was unavailable. More specifically I asked with what business he was with which he stated none, that he was looking for an attorney himself, he left a local # with an extension. Hmmmm RED FLAG, not to mention I have caller ID. I called the 800 # and asked to be removed from their calling list. Lets see what happens. Thanks for all the posts.

"Jason Clark" called from this number (but left a different number) about "a new personal injury matter".  When I called back, "Libby" wouldn't tell me the name of the company I had called or what they do.

Got a call from "Jason Clark."  When I told him that I needed more information before I'd let him speak with the attorney (I'm a paralegal), he told me to "drop dead."  Good luck with your future endeavors, "Mr. Clark!"

I have received multiple phone calls from Jason Clark from this number. He says that he is calling to schedule a meeting with the attorneys pertaining to an automobile collision involving a friend of his. He refuses to give me any information and repeatedly says that he will only speak directly with one of the partners. At that point, I let him know that we are not interested.

Got a voice mail message from a person who stated his name was Jason Clarke, that he worked with Fred Dryer, and that he wanted to talk about a new personal injury matter.

Caller ID listed the call as originating at 800-255-6987.

May be someone in the area can make trouble for these idiots

Same M.O.; got a call asking if I did Personal Injury work; told him no but I knew someone I could refer him to and gave him a number.  He took the number and hung up.

Ditto - Same scam.

I received a call from Dennis Laden asking to talk with one of our attorneys about a personal injury matter, I told him that the attorneys were out and to leave one of them a voice mail message.  He left a message with our head attorney asking to be called back and left our phone number as his call back number.  I thought that this was a little fishy so I looked up the 800 number that he called from and found this forum.  So I call the company to get some information about what they do and how they got our number.  I was informed that this company is basically a call center that takes calls from people with cases and matches them up with attorney from their area.  I told the receptionist that we dont want to be a part of this and to take our number off of their list.  She said that she would and was very nice about it.  Now 3 days later I receive another call from Dennis Laden asking to talk with an attorney about a personal injury matter.  I was sure that this was the same guy so I asked what the date of injury was for statute of limitation purposes and he just stated that the statute has not run and that this is for a car accident.  I asked for a call back number so the attorney can contact him and he gave me a local number with ext:238.  So instead of calling the local number that he gave me I called the 800 number and asked for him directly, I asked him if this was his personal injury case and he said no that this was for a colleague, so I verified that this was the correct company that I had already talked with and asked him to take our name and number off of the list that we dont want to participate and he was also really nice about it and said ok.  We will see if this is the last that we hear from this company.

I too received a call from this 1-800-255-6987 today.  It was Jason Clark. It was very suspicious so I took a message. It also seemed very familiar, so I checked the phone number.  2-3 months ago, we got a call from the same number, but that time it was a Chris Little. The attorney actually spoke to Chris Little and gave him a chance, but he kept pushing for him to sign the contract so quick that we all knew something had to be wrong. The attorney got fed up with him and his associate Michael Grant who also called and said he was Mr. Little's boss. The attorney, myself, and the othe secretary all told them he was not interested and never to call our office again. However, now they've asked one of their other little minions to call. These guys are like snakes, but beware as to not get bitten.

Just got one of these calls... lady asked if we did personal injury, i said depends on the case. Then she said that she had a new personal injury case for me and to call at the number 296-1005. Total scam!

Jason Clark is name that was used to call our office. This guy was EXTREMELY rude when I called him back because the attorney didn't return his call. When I tried to explain that the attorney asked that I return his call, that this was our procedure for potential new clients, he hung up on me! We would never do business with a client or anyone who acted this way despite the fact that it is obviously a scam!

I've warned my paralegals about these people...they are exceedingly rude and persistent...as the receptionist, I've been given carte blanche to deal with them.

Got a call from this number from a Mr. Lawrence Jones, trying to present himself as an a representative of a law firm. He was quite rude  with a terrible british 'sounding' accent.  Was upset that he couldn't get to speak directly with an attorney.  Advised him that this was not a partnership, and that the individual attorney's don't have authority to make marketing type decisions.
