only if your mother and brother co-signed. and just fyi, theres just TWO places for loan applications. one for the applicant and one for co applicant/co-signer. so if your brother got dragged into this, uh how the hell did you get two extra co signers????

No. I tried calling the number they originally gave me to call and it seems like it has been disconnected. I am glad to say after I let them know I will be taking action I have yet to hear another work from these scum... fingers crossed.

I am sorry you partly fell for this, if it isn't too late file a report with your bank to try and get your down payment back. File it under fraud as well.

This company is a fraud. They begin with calling from a blocked number, and tell you that they are going to serve you at your place of employment or home with papers regarding some kind of debt. Called them number, they would not verify any debt, or give me their official name, all they would say is that they are the claims department, and the work for lawyers (even if true, they all know laws, and that they have to verify the debt, and themselves). Said they were going to serve my mother and I with papers, and that it was for a civili suit from Plaingreen loans regarding defrauding a company, and passing a bad check. Which if you do your homework, these people are payday loan lenders or cash advance lenders, so these suits are not real. I turned them over to my lawyer for violation of governement debt regulations, but this company would either hang up on me or refuse to give me their address. Yes I did keep calling, and they tried to tell me that I was harrassing them! What kind of low life run these sorts of businesses. People, please do your homework! If you get a call from these people, tell them to go eff themselves.

yep this is how it happend to me they said they were going to include my sister and dad in this suit agenst me cought me at work and i paid them a down payment well when i called them today and they would not give me there company name or the name of the lawer who holds my debt when i asked for profe of the debt he refused to give me any thing all he said is i was worng about the fair debt colection act and it was not there responsibility it is te responsibility of the cort to prove the debt (funny sounding to me) i told him i used to work in the payday loan industry and it was the person trying to colect the debts responsibility to provide profe of debt he then got very upset with me and hung up so i called back i told him i would be calling back untell i receved profe of the debt i keep calling someone would pick up the phone then hung it up with out saying any thing then when i called i would get a msg that that number was not set up to accept incoming calls all i can say is SCAM

i just got a call from a Melissa Conway at my Friends house! I have never used this address or phone number nor have i ever put this friend down as a reference so i want to know how they know we even know each other?
I don't owe anybody, i owe one bank and am already garnished for it so i cant imagine what they are calling about. After reading this i have decided i wont even bother to call because i wont be threatened by some scam artist trying to get my SSN and bank info

Just got this call....the message reads "Message intended for you my name is carrie mitchell I'm calling in regards to the documentation I got in our office today regards to your name and social need to be advise we got a request to put you on the schedule it looks like you're signing for a certified notice of intent to in regards to a pending claim being filed out ... before I go and dispatch someone at your place of employment residency just want to give you a courtesy call to make yourself available with the bella from government issued I d.  Your manager or supervisor will verify your signature any questions you call (866) 243-0850 in regards to your file number 409932..   I'm confused why would my manager have to verify my signature....and on what document?!

Update....they said they were coming to my job on the 26th, well it is the day after and guess what?? No one showed up! They need to get a life and stop calling people, better yet get a job.

Constant calls, messages and threats from Carrie Mitchell.  All hours of the day and night. Planning to serve my husband but will not say why or who she works for, other than that she is an independant courier.  States that he will be arrested at work.  States that she will also have a court order placed against myself and my brother and we will have to take the stand against him!  When I ask for a validation of the debt she stated that she didn't have that information.  When ask what State and county she was planning to file this claim in she stated she serves all counties in Ohio.  She stated that if I didn't want to be part of the court process I would have to personally call 8773335110 and request a 'stop order' and ask to be removed from the claim.  When I called the number--surprise, surprise guess who answers?  When I stated that I did not want further phone calls and contacts from this company, regrding this they tell me that I have no choice in the matter.  When I advised that her actions and statements are against the FDCPA, she didn't seem to be bothered.

I just got this same call from a Carrie Mitchell on my phone and my job, saying she was going to come to my job on the 26th, if she does she will be trespassing and will be arrested, my boss already said so. I never took out any check loin I don't even have a checking account and i haven't for like 12yrs. They also called my boyfriend who said they were serving him papers for being with me, he told them he was an undercover cop, which he is and they hung up, hmmmm. Guess I need to report this number to the attorney general too, just like I did the other one when a guy that didn't speak very good English was calling me saying the same thing.

WE can see that the person "Very Upset" is from the company. -Ridiculous ...what a low life. Very upset ... I am upset at your company and your harrassment. Your tactics are unethical and if you think that I would even bother to call you back you when you use laying as a basis to seek your goals you have another thing coming.

These people are calling me about something I know nothing about, and they don't leave the company name. They are calling my relative now, this is making me mad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

no one ever gets served by these scammers except their employees (YOU) posting false info. they would also not include your family members in it unless they co-signed it.

Thanks a lot guys..I was just served by a deputy ..she asked me my name then served me some court documents..now myself my mother and my brother have to go to court..I never should have listened to you guys.i ignored them and now I'm served.i had a chance to resolve this matter two days ago for a fraction of what their sueing me for...my advice is: if u take out a loan and u know u didn't pay it back how can it be a scam?wake up people pay your bills and lets not give them a reason to have to call us...Goodluck everyone!!

I actually had my attorney call them. It was funny because when I called back trying to get an actual company name, my "process server" answered the phone. Same person who told me "if it gets tooken care of, I will not be to your house or place of employment".. which I am pretty sure if you are a process server, you would know better grammar than that. Company refused to tell me they were anything but Claims Department or Claims Mediation. I did call a lot, and they kept hanging up on me, and refused to give my lawyer any such information. Even if you do owe any money, do not pay, these practice are illegal and this company needs to be stopped.

Ignore them. Yes they pissed me off too, I called them about 800 times yesterday trying to get their actual business name and address, which they refused to give to me OR my attorney. I hate these scum. Yes we may have an actual debt (who would know since they do not verify) but what they do is harrassment, and illegal. Do not do anything, if it is legit, a REAL collections company will call and attempt to work with you to get payment, not harrass you.

A woman named Carrie Mitchell left a voicemail at my father's work for me claiming to be a process server who was going to either go to my home or my place of employment to have me sign a Certified Notice of Intent.  She indicated I needed to call the Claims Department for further information.  She did not leave any contact information for herself.  I called the Claims Department who said they were the Claims Mediation Firm and alleged there was a civil suit being filed against me over a CashNet USA loan.  They said they represented lawyers but would not give me the name of the law firm.  They initially said there was nothing I could do about it but then, after attempting to get information from me that I wouldn't give them, said they would contact their lawyer clients to see if they would be willing to settle with me.  They said they would email all the information regarding the debt, including a settlement offer.  I gave them a junk email I use and when I received their email it was a form letter with no return address or company information other than the name Claims Mediation Firm.  It did not provide any information regarding the alleged loan.  I forwarded the letter and the voicemail to my attorney who told me he was pretty sure this was a scam operation.  He told me not to call them back and to wait and see if anyone actually showed up at my house.  He explained that any threats of going to your place of employment, of jail time or any other harassment are violations of the FTCPA and that if they continued to contact me, he could go after them.  As it turns out, no one came to my house or work.

i didn't know these people were frauds i am really pissed now. cause they called me too and said that the same thing to me that they were going to send papers to my mother. i got really scared. i am disabled i have bipolar and panic attacks ptsd, etc........i didn't know. i feel stupid and very angry now.

is there anything i can do about it?
