Since many of these calls are using VoIP (basically computer calls) they are notoriously difficult to track. Got a call from this number this evening, though I had not applied for any PDLs. I did apply to refinance my vehicle through a reputable company.  Many PDL companies are basically storefronts (or computer fronts) and have no physical addresses and as we see, no verifiable landline telephone numbers, so reporting them to the BBB is pretty useless. You can contact the FCC and the FYC after the government re-opens for business and also you can go online to the FBI's Internet Fraud website and fill out an electronic report. When receiving harassing calls of this type, it is good to keep a call log: times the company phoned you, names of the business and/or caller and phone numbers they are calling from.
What we really need is to shut these boiler room operations down. PDLs can be made from anywhere in the world--but even then, they have to abide by your state laws regarding interest rates and how many times one can roll the loan over. My advice: If you need a PDL, get one from a physical PDL store in your own state. The rates are cheaper and you are protected by your state rules and regulations regarding short-term loans and lenders.

Says he is an investigator and that he is filing a civil claim against me in my county for check fraud......ummmmmmm.........don't have a checking account!

I have a debit card that I get my pay put into but that is it. first it was my cell phone, then house phone and now work phone........

I have used the payday loan in the past with a company that actually was pretty decent. However upon just "looking into" it again to see what was out there the rates were ridiculous! I told the company to remove me & don't call. The problem is once you partially fill out the "required" fields which includes your phone number ALL of the companies get your info so it's nearly impossible to get rid of them. Today just for ha ha's I just "previewed" one of the emails & 2 calls just came in! Of course they were ignored. Good Luck!

i get calls at least once a day from this number and dont answer because i have no idea who it is. seeing all the previos information from others, i am adding this to my blocked callers list.
i have ben getting TONS of calls and texts in regards to my approved loans and such (and i havent applied for anything).

called at 5:30 am.  Do not answer these calls.  They sat I have been approved for a loan which I never applied for.  Different numbers so far today total 8.  I am not wasting my time or my minutes on these out of country phone call scammers.

This indian man continus to call from 8am-8pm! They keep saying i applied for a pay day loan online. which is incorrect thesr people are complete scammers! I have no.idea how they have my number or even lnow my name!

this number and 888-311-6369 have called me two times today and left no message before they called in July harassing me and actually threatning to take me to court.  both of these numbers are now blocked so they ring three times and are blocked....

Once you fill out one application it goes to ALL of those so-called lenders to try & sucker you into one of those loans. Don't do it because if you try to extend your loan you get stuck paying an extension fee that none of it gets applied to the actual loan.DONT DO IT!!!  If you did not commit or authorize  anything I wouldn't worry.

Called the number back. Received a phone tree stating if I want to apply for a loan on line press one. To make a payment or speak to an agent press 2. I pressed 2 and received, No agents are available to take your call. Please visit our web site to start the loan process. This is why I don't answer number ID calls. they are all teleies wanting something.

I've received three payday loans in the last hour.  Just hit block number after each call.  Funny part is the Indian salespeople on the other end of the phone speak such lousy english, they couldn't sell me a loan if I wanted one.

I received a call 877-333-7195???? I am on a do not call lisy for my cell phone.
I answered and no one picked up.

two minutes later I received another phone call, 888-311-6369. Same response as above. No one picked up.

Called today asked to speak with my wife but used my telephone number.  Wanting to approve Today Loan.  Wouldn't give any details.  Think this is a big SCAM!!!

Got a call from this number this morning and it sounded like the exact same person that called last night from 213-814-4183 too. Could not understand him when he identified himself either time and he asked for the same Alicia person as last night. I told him 1- You're calling the wrong number, I don't even know anyone by that name. 2- you're calling my cell phone, please stop. 3- Please take my number out of your system. This is my work cell phone. I've had the same number for 10 years. I've never put this number down on any contact form. So either someone is putting this number as their own, or its an autodialing scam thing.  And for those that say get a call blocker, I can't.  It's not a smart phone!

I got three messages from who ever they are and they say they are going to take me to court...I have -0- court dates on anything and they are a scam company..same Indian man with 5 different numbers(one is now withheld)

Got a message from Law Office of United.  They came up as private and give you a number to call back.  855-498-3538.  I looked the number on line and it is non-existent.  They threatened that this is your final notice and they are sending paperwork to your local county clerk's office to have you served.  You are given a case number but not what it is in reference.  Sounds like a scam.

Just told me i was approved for a loan

Got a call from 877-333-7195. It took quite some time to understand what the gentlemen was saying (very heavy accent). Ironically, introduced himself as John Jones.  Said he was offering a loan for $10,000 due to "MY" application.  I have no loan applications pending.......

I have gotten a total of 24 phone calls today. This number has called me twice and there have been several other number but it is he same Indian guy every time. I have answered a few of them but he hangs up when I tell him to take my number off his list and that I'm on the do not call list. But he cuts me off and hangs up. While waiting this small post I have gotten 3 more phone calls. Ugg. I even put a do not disturb on my phone and they call so often they get through that as well.

It started with 3 text messages offering Payday Loans to "Sonya", and when I replied "STOP", the harrasing phone calls began. The txt numbers are: 952-679-8728, 765-705-6300, and 407-749-0998.

I got a call from this number they said they were from loan.com looking for a woman  that I don't know and keep calling

This number and various other numbers have been calling me alllllll day. They say my loan has been approved but I have not taken out any loans.

They keep calling me too on my cell phone.  So 'Thanks' to 'Blacklist', I don't have to worry anymore.  Especially now knowing about this website to see that it is a 'Scam'.  Wish there was a way to do away with these calls from all these different numbers.
