This number has called me every day for over a month, no message, and I dont have T-Mobile, I live in Canada. Def a scam.

Got this call also. I do not have T-mobile and they left a message stating they are a legal office getting ready to serve papers. I call back and also heard music then got hung up on. No one actually talked on the phone. Doesn't sound right to me!

I just got off the phone with them. It is not a scam. The call was to convert prepaid plans into regular plans.
they only call the prepaid users with good payment history. I got a free Nokia lumia and a great plan. even got an email confirmation of order.

OK gang & Chorus- Phone numbers can be faked (spoofed) Caller ID can say anything. NEVER give out personal information on a call you did not make from the phone book, back of credit card, or statement. You have NO idea who you are talking to, & where in the world they are.

This is a legit number for the prepaid department, but they also handle many of the offers that aren't readily available by going into a store or by going their website. I have seen that a lot of people are skeptical and are trying to simply pawn it off as a telemarketer or a scam, but it isn't. What they offer is legit, and they are from T-Mobile.
I had called Customer Care and spoke about it with a representative, and found out plenty of information. She had told me that there are some companies trying to scam people, especially during the holiday seasons, but that this number is the T-Mobile Prepaid Department, and it is completely legit. Now she also tried to sell me on the idea of going through normal means, but I think it's because T-Mobile would make much more money off of me that way.

Same story keeps calling and waking me up in the morning. Won't leave a voicemail. Tried to talk to T-Mobile customer service they said all they could do was sell me a plan to block the numbers. Extremely unhelpful and irritating.

After reading all these, I'm glad I didn't pick up! I just received my very first phone call from 877-335-9585.
And no, they didn't leave a message and TMobile is also my carrier. I'm going to TMobile next and file a complaint there as well.

I get called from this number once or twice a week. I did call back since thry don't leave any messages and it was " T-mobile" and the lady asked me if there I needed to make any changes to my account. So I told her why do you want to call me and see if I need to make changes to my account?!
She says well people are going through financial hardship and we want to help them by making some changes to their accounts. At the end she tells me with an attitude "Well sir we are just trying to help our customers by doing them this favor!"
WTF! So I told her to do me a favor and stop calling my number.
I'm going to call T-mobile and see whats the deal here.
Don't give them any info.

Have had 2 calls in the past 3 days. Don't answer calls from #s I don't recognize. Am I paying for these calls? How can I stop these calls? Is it really T-Mobile?
Thomas 2011-06-03 02:07:37 Unknown
Received a call from this #, when I answered they hung up. I called the# back, a female answered and wanted my name, ph# and the last 4 of my soc sec #. When I refused to give her my last 4 she rattled off something that I couldn't understand so I hung up
Vanessa 2011-06-03 01:29:47 Unknown
Same thing... they called, I answered, they hung up. T-mobile, if you're reading this, I DO NOT WANT YOU TO CALL ME!!!!

Got a call from 877-335-9585 from a gentleman saying he was from the "T-Mobile Courtesy Group" wanting to review my plan. I asked for his name, title and address, and all he said was that his name was "Johnny" and the phone number. He said he was a T-Mobile employee, which I am not sure of. He said he did not know the address, then he told me he could not give it out. When I pressed him for it, he hung up on me.

I was with T-Mobile for years; recently switched to Sprint because of T-Mobile's frequency of dropped calls. Now I'm getting these empty calls from them.
Maybe it's their way of harassing me for dropping their service.

Got two calls from this number this morning - called T-Mobile to let them know as my bill is paid in full.
Brenden 2011-05-18 23:53:30 Unknown
This number has called me twice. The first time, I answered and there was a woman on the line that tried getting some personal information, just right off the bat. I asked who she was and what company she worked for and she hung up! You think they/she would've had enough sense to not call me back after that hahaha ;D
LV 2011-05-13 19:45:16 Unknown
I called 611. It's a valid T-mo #. There was a problem with Sidekick owners downloading ringtones and it's for a credit. (I do not own a sidekick)
JC 2011-05-09 20:01:39 Unknown
I also downloaded the Calorific Calorie Counter, but had uninstalled it long ago.

Got the number, heard pre-recorded music at about 9 in the morning. I work nights and man, I'd JUST gotten to sleep when the damn phone rang.
Called it back, heard a pre-recorded "T-MOBILE may record this and view it later on, blah blah, 1 for English, 2 for Spanish". Pressed 1, was greeted by a Spanish speaking female who (sorry Spanish speakers) said she needed my number and the first three digits of my area code. I paused before deciding to answer when she started rattling off something I didn't understand in Spanish. I snorted and hung up. If they call again, I plan on having it blocked.
Jerks.

Got a call from this number today. Rang four or five times then hung up. No message.
Ronald B 2011-05-03 17:30:47 Unknown
Got the same, got a few seconds of music then a hang up. What is this, why is there not a register to rid this crap from our lives.
Mark 2011-04-26 15:00:40 Unknown
Gotta be a scam. Left a message claiming to be T-Mobile (my carrier) asking me to call back without giving any specific reason to.
Only problem: they called my Google Voice number, not my actual T-Mobile phone number.
Ruth 2011-04-22 23:43:25 Unknown
Got a call tonight. Usually don't answer strange numbers but tried it this time. There was a musical interlude for about 10 seconds. It ended but before anyone answered the call ended.
If this is T-Mobile (my carrier) I'm not pleased. Anonymous annoyance calls to customers? Not the way to run a business. They need to be a lot more proactive in investigating if the call isn't theirs. Simply denying it's them when the number comes up as T-Mobile should inspire some business protective instinct!
