You SEO hustlers have to stop posing as legitimate satisfied customers.  It's illegal  and violates FTC false advertising regulations.  As for research, any look at NVPS, or whatever name they are using today, reveals nothing but trouble.

What horse hockey.  The Missouri Attorney General just got through handing you your a** for deceptive practices.  In fact the consent judgment included language NVPS, under its old name Dealership Warranties Inc, (they changed the name after the judgment--wonder why) conceded to, included  "The consent judgment against Dealership Warranties prohibits deceptive sales techniques in the sale of vehicle repair coverage."

http://ago.mo.gov/newsreleases/2012/AG_Koster ... hip_Warranties/

If you want a real-life experience with NVPS sales people, check out ripoff report:

Right, this is a legit number, not!! Why would people get calls from companies they have no business relationship with. Plus I am not going to point out the fact that you  are responding to a year old post.

They called and insisted on payment and were very aggressive over the phone. They call all times of day. I believe that they are not to be trusted because of their forceful tactics. They are a women and man team.

Received a call from these people at the crack of dawn. Just as others experienced, they were high-pressure, belligerent, insulting, rude, would not take no for an answer and threw vulgar words left and right when they couldn't get their way. Insulted me and my family. Used graphic sexual language. Asked me if I like flushing money down the toilet, told me I was an un-f*ckable cow and still refused to hang up. I hung up on them, but had to block them from my cell phone because the salesperson I spoke to was apparently having so much fun slinging childish insults he used an Unknown number to call me back FIVE TIMES and left vulgar, threatening voicemails each time.

I rec'd a voicemail from a Scott at National Vehicle Protection.  I called the number back in regards to the warranty coverage that had lapsed.  Scott then tried to pressure me into purchasing the warranty again for my over 10 year old vehicle and that if I didn't purchase it, I would not be able to get any coverage at all.  I then stated to him that I was not the driver of the vehicle, that my husband was the driver of it so it would be his choice.  He then kept asking to call my husband and see if he wanted to go with the coverage or not and he then got rather irate with me when I told him that I would not call my husband while at work for anything.  My son and I are not hurt or dying, therefore there was no need to call my husband and work to bother him with this.  He then decided to say that I had this "made up rule" about not calling my husband at work.  I don't know about others, but I don't call my husband at work just to chit chat.  There is a time and place for that and when either of us are at work, that is NOT the place!  I then spoke with Scott's supervisor who said that he was not aware of his staff "bullying" people into getting coverage and he would review the call. He said would mark my file that I was not interested in getting the coverage and that I would not get anymore phone calls about it.  We shall see...but I'm sure that I'll get yet another call tomorrow as other commenters have...

I knew these people were not legitimate the moment the semi-polite introductory preamble ended and I asked to have the woman repeat again why she was calling me.  She rattled off some script she was reading from about a vehicle 'extended warranty' for a car  i leased and had turned back in two years prior....  when I politely explained that I no longer had the car, she imemdiately wanted to know the make and model of the car I replaced it with.  A bit fishy so I politely declined and told her our call was over...she IMMEDIATELY began raising her voice and speaking faster - "why would you lease another vehicle?  do you like wasting money?   theres a cash value on the current policy and I am trying to help YOU by seeing if we can transfer it to your new vehicle.."   before the CLICK goodbye I told them to take me off their call list.  which of course they didnt, a followup call was made my another woman "Maggie" the next night.  These people, like all the other scammers out there, are scum that feed on the naive, uninformed, and elderly.  Hope they rot in hell.

Ridiculously pressuring and call at all hours of the day and night. I picked up at 8:45pm after multiple calls with no message. They called about a car I no longer had and even was totaled 3 years ago! They won't take no for an answer and after saying so for literally 24 minutes I ended up hanging up on them. This girl Amanda would not take no, would not take me off their list and if for any reason they call back I'll be more upset.

They called me yesterday and left a message.  Then they called me this morning and woke me up...I did not answer.  Then they called me this afternoon when I was getting ready for a doctor appointment and left another message.  Well I decided to call them back.  They told me I had a warranty through them.  I asked what the name of the company was and they told me National Vehicle Protection.  As they told me I was looking through my files and told them I do not see anything by their name.  Now I think if I had an extended warranty through this company, I would remember their name AND I would have a file on them.  I told them to please take me off their call list an that is when it started.  Into the conversation, I told them my son works the the model of car I have, so he does all my work.   They told me my warranty was about to expire and it was very important to get this before is expired while I was talking to them on the phone.  LOL  Are you kidding me.  You don't know who you are talking to.  They asked me if I knew how much is was to fix certain things on a car.  I told them "yes, I used to work at a dealership".  So they just kept on and on and I told them to send me something in the mail that I can sit down and look at and I will then decide if I want to purchase this extended warranty. They told me they needed to know before the call ended.  I told her I was not buying anything that I could not see what it warranted and was about at my own leisure.  They asked for my email address, which I gave.  Later on I checked the email and it wasn't even from the same girl I was talking to.  I was talking to a girl named Maggie.  Very persistent.  The email was from Kelly Price.  Why the hell would you send something from a totally different persons name.  Anyway after her blabbing this and that I told her I was not interested...take me off your calling list.  She still wouldn't shut up!  I said thank you and hung up on her!  Now if they call back, I'm not going to be so nice!!  Which I really wasn't that nice this time anyway.  But if they call back I'm going to be pissed and even worse!  And then I will block them!

I also recently began receiving phone calls from this number w/ voicemail messages stating that my vehicle coverage had lapsed. I decided to return the cal today, obviously prior to reading the comments on this site which would've arrested tat action,  and  was badgered, questioned and became instantly annoyed with the customer service rep's tactics. I listened for a bit, I said  'no thank you' repeatedly and I eventually disconnected because the conversation would have gone on forever. I'm not sure how the company received my telephone numbe or knew about me vehicle, but the lady I spoke to was unprofessional, very probing and her phone etiquette was terrible. My hopes are that others read this site's information prior to, or in place of, returning the call. It'll save you undue frustration and unneccessary time loss. I can never get those 22 minutes back (I know, way too long, but I was trying not to be rude:)  and truth is the person on the other end really doesn't care. I honestly feel bad for her and all others who play that role because a person must be miserable if he/she enjoys making others upset, uncomfortable, etcetera.  Do NOT answer the call, and if you do, quickly (and nicely if possible) say goodbye. Good luck.

This company has called me once a day for the last week. I have never returned their call and never will. I knew it was a sales call and calling them back would only make it worse. One bit of advice if you do happen to talk to them is if they don't take know for an answer is simply hang up. Don't let these pushy rude sales people get you upset and angry. It's just not worth it!

I received a phone call from 1-877-336-0715 today telling me that my service contract, aka warranty, had expired July 30th, 2013. The company was National Vehicle Protection Services (NVPS). I told the representative that my warranty expired about 2 years ago. My car's dealership (Toyota) told me directly --in person during a routine oil change-- a few months before the warranty expired. The female NVPS representative said that this was not true. She said that my warranty was for 6 years and that it only just expired. She tried to lead me to believe that NVPS was the company that held my warranty when it was not. She was instant that I could not continue without coverage and that they work directly with Toyota which was how they had my car's information. I was transferred to 2 other representatives and was quoted an enormous sum of money for a 5-year warranty. I told the third representative that I could not afford it since I am unemployed and am in a lot of debt. To make a long story short, I said no and the representative hung up on me. I then called my Toyota dealership to confirm whether or not Toyota was affiliated with NVPS and the Toyota representative said, NO, they were NOT in any way affiliated with this company, and they did NOT give NVPS information on my car, AND that they had received many complaints from their customers regarding NVPS. The Toyota representative told me to report this company to the BBB which is exactly what I did.

They have been calling me everyday since the beginning of June. I've never had my cell phone on me when they have called so I always missed the call. They always leave a voicemail to call them right away about my vehicles warranty. Warranty that I've never had to begin with. Well today I was able to take their call and I literally told them to "f*** off".  Waiting to see if they call back :)

Actually, " :] "-- you're a scammer. The warranties are not held or indemnified by NVPS, in any way, shape, or form.  NVPS is a leech company, buying and phishing contact information of warranty holders, publicly registered by states and national companies, where the law requires such information to be part of their public records.  It's an absolute lie, in the legal sense, to infer that a 'relationship' exists between NVPS and anyone that purchased a vehicle warranty through the manufacturer, or to imply the owner has an 'existing' warranty with NVPS.  So, stop lying, and stop trying to present this company as legitimate; it's not. May your fortunes be small, and your time in prison, long.
